What's on your christmas list?
Same. Well, I'm going to guess actually about $150. But I sure ain't getting no GTX (minimum $600 for those who don't know) and a 21" monitor. People I know are getting Nintendo Wii and such, like its nothing at all. And I don't get close to that much with all my Christmas and birthday gifts combined (my birthday's also in September). I don't want to sound whiny, but I think people overdo it with Christmas presents #-o . I hope I get either money or futureshop gift certificates. The former so I can put TOWARD getting my new PC in February, or the latter to put toward all the games coming out in that time.

Fast Metabalism
What do you mean by take in? Anyways, I have a crazy fast metabolism. Can anyone suggest food that will help put on healthy weight? I've been starting with increases amounts of fish (for protein and that other thing...EPA or whatever, aswell as flax seed, also for those Omega 3's and 6's. I just started this, but I was wondering what are the best healthy foods to pack on pounds? Both for meals and snacks I work at McDonald's, and therefore get half-price stuff. But I don't eat it. Cuz I'll get fat.

what game should I buy with 85$????
If it were up to me, I'd buy 7-8 budget priced games. You can get high quality games from 2 years ago for 10-20 bucks. And if your looking at 4 or so years ago, you can get them for less than that.

Survey on Eating Habits for High Schoolers
Fast food 1 Home-cooked meals 5 Restaurant food 0-1 Left-overs 1 Breakfast 6 What grade are you in? 12 Do you feel pressured to watch what you eat? Pressured? No. Am I concious of what I eat? Hell yea. Not because I want to look good, but because society says that if I eat fast-food I will die.

Quick question on getting a sound card.
Sound cards help alot with game stability, sound quality, and yes, for gaming performance. With onboard, it takes CPU power to process the sound, which is especially dire if you computer isn't that good to begin with; you'll need as much power as you can get. You also get improved sound quality. On board cards can give a lot of background interference, and have lower sound volumes. Poor onboard sound can also slow down/freeze more demanding games. Bad sound capabilities stuggle to keep up with what's showing on the screen, and can freeze up games entirely. A lot of gaming benchmarks are done without sound, possibly for this reason. So in short, the answer is YES. Get whatever you can afford, and research to find what you need. It will pay off.

No problem. :) Just remember though, I spent an hour on this, and therefore this may not be the best. I strongly recommend asking about on a hardware forum though, in particular regarding the motherboard. There are so many motherboard's out there for AM2, that is hard to really decide which is the right one. I think the one I posted will do just fine, but do some research just to make sure. And have fun : .

women and men equality..
Personally I don't think their will ever be true equality. With that said, I think that a woman is technically capable of being president, (whether that would ever happen, atleast for a long time, is in doubt). Except Hilary Clinton, she is just stupid. As said, men are just generall built up different from women. What I hate so much is how women have lower requirements to get into the fire department here. Call me sexist, but if I or someone I knew was passed out and dieing in a fire, I'd much rather be saved by a 6'4 220lb dude who could actually carry me to safety. When a woman can meet the same requirements as is needed for a man to pass, I am entirely cool with that. Until then, they shouldn't be fire fighters. Also, the whole army thing. Men just generally are better suited for the army. Obviously some women are capable, but it just doesn't work (men react differently around women, etc. Aswell, they may not be aggressive or powerful enough to fight in close quarters, and may not have the killer instinct often required.) On the flip side, it's been proven that women are probably better mothers, as they have a natural bond with their child. That's not to say men aren't as good parents (quite often, they can be far better), but there is some merit in saying that on average, women have to ability to be better parents. I believe women and men should have equal economic and social rights, but in some cases, it's best left to one or the other.

What he basically recommended isn't bad... He said AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800$148.99 Not a bad idea. Not the greatest processor in the world, but you're in a more modern socket, AM2. It really depends on what you're needs are. I couldn't possibly recommend Socket 939 if you're planning to upgrade this computer at all. But if you just want a good gaming computer at the current time, and aren't looking to the future, perhaps someone else could recommend a good Socket 939 CPU (I'm not really used to AMD, I prefer Intel, but C2d is too expensive in your case). This motherboard doesn't look bad. Or you can look through other Am2 motherboards on newegg. DFI INFINITY NF ULTRAII-M2 Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail$89.99 Ram: This stuff doesn't look bad. Obviously with a low budget you're looking for value priced memory. OCZ Value Series 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5400) Dual Channel Kit System Memory - Retail$109.99 So basically what I've done so far is gotten a cheaper motherboard, since you don't need SLI capability and more expensive processor (both faster and more future proof than your original one). But unfortunately, when it comes to graphics, you just don't have enough power. Other than the obvious fact that its AGP and won't work with your computer, it wouldn't run anything new anyway. Video card: I would suggest a eVGA GeForce 7600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail$129.99 Obviously its not top of the line, but it offers tremendous bang-for-your-buck. It's midranged, but should run pretty much anything out there, even stuff like Oblivion. If you want to go a bit more pricey, with more advanced features but less bang for the buck, I'd suggest a eVGA GeForce 7900GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 KO Video Card - Retail$185.99. Out of the two, I'd say the 7600GT is the one for you, though. That comes to $478.96. While it's 100 bucks more than the one you had, the graphics performance is not even in the same league. Whereas (assuming the 5500 DID work in your motherboard, which it doesn't) you wouldn't be able to play practically anything with a 5500, you could probably play anything, with a 7600GT, even if you have to turn down the eye candy on stuff like Oblvion. I'm pretty sure this isn't bad, but have you though about all the other parts of a PC? Monitor, hard drive, optical drive(s), sound card (or just use onboard, I didn't really check what was on the one I posted and theres no time cuz I gotta go), Power supply, case etc. That stuff really adds up. And also, try checking another forum. Just google something for hardware, and try that. You'd probably get a better result.

Immortality on Earth-Questions
It really depends on what people's definitions of immortality are. I actually had a long conversation with a group of people about this once. Some claimed immortality made you invulerable to any damage, but you could still die. Others claimed you were invulnerable to dieing of natural causes, but you can still die of physical damage. Myself, alone had the correct definition (:)). It means you can never take any physical harm to begin with (like, steel skin), and you cannot catch any sickness. Therefore, the ravages of age don't apply, so your muscles never break down. I assume they would still mature to the point before you entered the stage where there was inverse progress on your body. So you would probably hit somewhere in your twenties or thirties and then your body would just be in stasis.

Favourite word u never forget to say every day!
I hate when people say "sup" or "wassup". I'm never sure if it's appropriate to respond with "hi" or "hello", rather than telling them what's actually up.

SATs
I took a practice American SAT; I noticed that the math was super easy, but the English was super hard. It was really quite strange... BTW, in Canada, we only take SAT's if we plan to go to America to study. Universities here look mostly at your marks.

Gamer Crew - challenge..
Lol, I just tried. It's impossible to get a top of the line computer for 3000 American. I ended up with 3300, shopping at newegg, and that was without a monitor. The main reasons were I tried x6800 extreme, an x8800GTX (by estimation), and all kind of other things.

?! It was an awsome movie, IMO :P No it isn't, it's pretentious and overrated. Agreed, a poor film, and horrendous political commentary.

How often do you tire of your favorite songs?
I kill stuff all the time. Well, not kill, because when I love a song and then come back to it a long time later, I still realise how genious it is. I just don't get the same, face melty/spine tingly feel that I used to get. However, lately I haven't "killed" anything; I haven't listened to The Wall or DSOTM or Animals in over a year, I'm saving for a special occasion.

Gamer Crew - challenge..
When I build my next computer in January, I want one that keeps sound down, had good air flow, and is easy to work inside. I honestly don't care how heavy it is. I don't LAN.

Oh, bright sunshining day~!
Actually, this has been a somewhat miserable week, but that seems to be the norm now. I basically work all the time now (work, homework, community service). Even if it were a nice day (it isn't), I wouldn't know it. It's actually frigid, raining and leaves everywhere on the ground, just plain ugly. But I can't complain. This week is fairly without incidence, so that's good enough for me.

GTA San Andreas (Looking for demo & store)
100% for me, and same. The sex scenes were cut out in Indigo Prophecy (the North American release for those who don't know). ESRB doesn't rate games in Europe right? And no ratings in Europe were changed becuase of this yes? So it would seem sex is a much larger problem for Americans (why? I don't know. The Superbowl incident was like the biggest news event of that year, and big enough that you know exactly what I'm talking about.)

Daylight Savings Time Ends
All I know is I was working on my homework from about 1-4AM last night (don't ask), and only spent 2 hours. Explain that one, non-believers.
