GTA4 trailer coming out in 27 days!
There's a table tennis game in Wii Play, but it's a bit too wonky control-wise to be all that fun.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Flags of Our Fathers-I thought this was quite a good movie. After and AMAZING starting action sequence, it pretty much goes into how America treats their 'heroes' and the impacts on them. While it does this well for a while, it tends to beat this over your head for about an hour and a half, so I started to lose interest. But overall, quite solid, worth a watch. Can't wait for Letters from Iwo Jima.

GTA4 trailer coming out in 27 days!
its a bit early for rockstar isnt it? :? I don't follow... No? rockstar are normaly very secretive when it comes to GTA, i would have expected an anouncement or trailer during the late summer. Yea, by comparison, San Andreas was released in October of 2004, and it wasn't even ANNOUNCED until March of 2004. But GTA4 has been announced for close to a year, and we are already getting a trailer by the time the other GTA's have been announced. Though I am ridiculously excited...I just don't know if they can continue their success (they've made some changes at Rockstar lately.)

What do you lift? (Survey)
Why you call it benching? There's more to weightlifting than just benching? Personally, I have an amazing weight room, all to myself. I would estimate....8-9 bikes, 5 ellipticals, 5 treadmills, 7 benches (incline, decline, convertible and regular), a full dumbell set (as in, 2-3 pairs of each weight, save for the like 100+ dumbells that no one uses), full barbell wrack, and pretty well every essential and non-essential machine you would ever need (we'll just say, if you tell me an excercise I can do it). [This is all just to give you an idea, not like I need to ride 7 bikes at a time.Though I am crazy enough to try.] How did I manage this? The two football coaches at my school are workout junkies and advocates for their players to work out. Now, I'm not a football player, but for 25 bucks a semmester I can go in at any time between about 7:30am-4:30pm. I have a spare first period, and unlike most people who just take an extra hour of sleep, I go in and work out 3-4 days a week. It's absolutely about the sickest thing that's ever happened. I only weigh 125 pounds (I'm pretty strong for my size, I'm just extremely lean). I can't really do max bench type of stuff, because without a spotter, I would DIE. :ohnoes: And there is charts where you do 5 of a certain weight and it shows you, but I don't want to do that either because it, too, can be risky. So until I get a spotter, I can't check, but if I were to guess...Probably 115-120% of my bodyweight maybe? That's actually not that much when you actually think about it (143-150), but compared to my bodyweight I wouldn't say that's too bad. Also, my chest isn't very big :(. My arms are not too bad size-wise though.

What movie(s) did you last see?
I watched A Man Apart. My brother told me it was good. Not really. Generic, predictable. It's the kind of thing I would watch to pass time, but since I'm strapped for time as is it was essentially not time well spent. It wasn't a bad movie, but there's nothing here I haven't seen in a dozen other, better movies.
- Oscars?

New computer :) - Have I got all the parts?
Yea, I would say definately get a better power supply. The other thing, likely minor; I'd suggest this RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820145590 Its $204, however, there's a 40 dollar rebate so it's actually 5 bucks cheaper. And it will better quality.

Ze Best Car Racing Simulator...

What movie(s) did you last see?
I watched The Departed. Quite impressive I'd say, really very exciting and intruiging. With next to no action, it's essentially all writing, and it's extremely well done. Pretty good direction (not Scorceses best by a long shot, but still good), and overall just a very impressive film. Only number 2 of the 5 best picture nominees, so I couldn't guess where it stands. I like how I never get to see the years high quality movies until a few months after the year ends, when they all come to DVD. I don't really go to the cinema, so I constantly talk of how bad the year was in movies until about February/March/April when I actually see all the good ones. Can't wait to watch The Prestige/Flags of Our Fathers/Letters from Iwo Jima/Babel and so forth.

Pic of my calf (by request).. still not returning to boards
If I remember correctly, and I may more may not, who knows, but I believe there was gunshots aimed at someone else (gang shooting, IIRC), and he got hit with a wayward bullet when he tried to run for cover? I think that's right, not sure, but that's what my memories telling me.

-===SNOW DAY===-
Urgh. I just got hit with the 20-30ish cms (I can't really say, I'm just estimating) of snow last night. You can hardly walk or drive, but still there was school . It's only about -10C right now, but it was more like -20C this morning with windchill. So not quite as bad as last week but still pretty cold. We were all so mad we had to go to school  .
-
-===SNOW DAY===-
Expected 50 Cm of snow. Mines something along those lines, but I think 20-30 cm. But all day it's been changing. This morning it was expected 20-30, then they went down to expected 5, now they are back at expected 20-30. They don't know what they are talking about.

Grand theft auto
Easily. That's not to say San Andreas' is without it's charms, but Vice City's is uniformly outstanding. Vice City also had the most style and best realized atmosphere. It was SO 80's. Right away, you could tell where and when you were, and you could spot the influences (Miami Vice, Scarface) a mile away. And it had a really entertaining story. But... San Andreas is the biggest, most interesting place to explore. That's half the fun I get from those games, is just exploring all the details the devs put into it. And San Andreas has so many features (planes =P~ ), and BY FAR the best quests and sidequests. There was only 1 mission I remember not having any fun on, and that was the one where you had to fly the RC plane and kill all the vans. SO annoying. Vice City had a few like that, the helicopter demolision one similar to the one I just mentioned. San Andreas is perhaps an easier game than Vice City, and I think in this case, it helps the entertainment value hugely. There's nothing I hated more than having to try a VC mission dozens of times in order to move on in the story (the one where you have to do as much chaos as possible in a minute was nearly impossible without cheating and getting a tank, but I did it [uzi+Motorcycle+narrow pathways= ]). And San Andreas has good atmosphere, great characters and perhaps an even better story than VC. It's not Shakespeare, but it fits perfectly with the game.

Wii games.
Atleast the Wii library is looking better than Gamecube. But still it's not really looking great. There's so few M rated games (usually the best games), and the M rated games that are coming are unoriginal. It's pretty much why I don't want a DS either. Sure, Wii sports is fun. But it's not reason enough for me to go out and buy a console when I could buy something else.

Grand theft auto
Since it is so big, people will feel the need to tell you how bad it is (Sony, Microsoft, McDonalds). But yes, Vice City and San Andreas are 2 of the greatest video game achievements ever. 1 and 2 aren't really very good, and 3 was very, very good at the time, but fails miserably when compared to Vice City and San Andreas.

Sony plans to cut PS3 cost
They aren't dominating DVD which is what really needs to happen to win a format war ;) Actually, I just read the other day that Blue-Ray and HD-DVD are neck-in-neck in the whole format war thing. Nah, Blu-Ray is dominating. http://dailytech.com/Bluray+Sales+Surpass+HD+DVD+Nearly+Threefold+/article5965.htm

Embarassing, funny, or weird McDonalds encounters.
For reference, 10 burger patties is supposed to be 1 pound of meat. Notice I say supposed...Pieces get stuck to the grill so it might be slightly less. But with the buns that makes it a lot of food. We only get that...Pretty well every day? :-s Similarly, we don't sell Frosties or Blizzards. You'd think putting 'Mc' in the name would help some people in ordering a McFlurry.

Most Disgusting Smells. and favorite smells.
I love smell; it's one of my favorite senses...Well, maybe not, but I would be really sad without it. I can get pleasure from smelling almost any kind of food (people think me wierd as I'm always smelling things; often I smell just to see if I would like to eat something as I can almost always tell from the smell whether it would taste good). Favorite...Hmmmm, I like the smell of popcorn...chili is real nice too.

Embarassing, funny, or weird McDonalds encounters.
I work at McDonalds. I have a wealth of bizarre stories. The worst I'd say was the pedophile guy who comes and goes (or rather, used to; we'll get to that) about 5-10 times per day. Leather jacket, greasy, creepy looking guy who may or may not be homeless. Anyways, he got banned for one time randomly charging in and starts yelling at some business people having lunch. He said "Stop *ing staring at me, I'll get the *ing Hell's Angels after you." (He seemed to believe he was in the Hell's Angels, even though he doesn't own a motorcycle and always comes in alone. ) Anyways, after that, he continued to carry on for about 5 minutes (with the f-word laced throughout his speech), then sat at a table and started muttering to someone. Other thing is, there was no one at the table; he was having a conversation with someone in his head. The cops came, told him never to come back. However, I often see him stumbling around the parking lot, including one time when the police were there talking to him. His whole family is really wierd though. His mother, a wierd old lady, spends maybe 4 hours a day there, on separate visits, and about half the time she has with her what I assume are her grandchildren (though, I wouldn't be all that surprised if they were abducted). It seems they never feed these kids anything other than soft drinks. They are the most sickly looking kids you've ever seen; they are constantinly shaking. It's really depressing. I really don't want to get into anything food related. But know that we NEVER sell anything that we know even might make people sick. And it's not like we sell food that we can clearly see is no good. I hate McDonalds more than...anyone in the world, but it's paying for school, and so it's just fine with me. And most fast-food related stories you hear are completely fake anyways. Sometimes we do sell food that we know isn't up to the standards they set for us (which are ludicrous), especially later at night, and occassionally we even bet to see if the person will come back or not. But it's never stuff that could make you sick.

What movie(s) did you last see?
I'm going to check out Blockbuster again, see if they have expanded their Foreign collection. When I was there last (about 6 months ago), they have about 20 movies, many of which weren't very good. And Oldboy wasn't one of them . I'll have to look again, see if I can get Oldboy, Double Indemnity, The Third Man...movies they didn't used to have. In the mean time I'm going to try to find and dust off my old too-see list. I'll try to get in the atleast 1 classic a week thing again, but I work most Friday and Saturday nights so only the best new releases get my viewing.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Finally! My hard semmester is over, and now I have a less, easier classes, and I'm cutting back on my employment hours aswell. So I can watch movies again! Kill Bill Vol. 1-I liked this movie pretty good. It was so stylish and unorthodox, made it pretty interesting to me. The thing I found most interesting was how mysterious everything and everyone was, really makes you want to keep watching. That being said, this is only a good movie, and doesn't near Pulp Fiction or even Reservoir Dogs. But still very good. And the ending is awesome!!! Kill Bill Vol. 2.-I liked it, but not as much as the first one. In fact, I was having some trouble keeping my eyes open. But it was still pretty good, it just seemed like Kill Bill 1 lite...It did basically the same thing, but not as well. It was more dramatic, sure, and it tied it up pretty well, it just wasn't as interesting to me. There, 2 movies off my too-see list.
