I'm guessing it was a tree spirit. All I lost was some oak logs, a steel axe, my ammy of accuracy, my mith long, and a mith full helm. (valuable to me then)

Actually, it was removed much before RS2. It was removed in 2001, because people were deliberately breaking rules to get put in the black hole.
