  1. after his first post chris changed the thread to be about his elixir drop and campy continued to flame Continued to flame? I answered his flame that is it. Also the thread got locked so gf, I was right.
  2. First off he didnt have and account on tif at the time Second he said i could make the post and third 10/10 for being a complete D-bag =D> This is not an achievement that you achieved. Therefore you shouldn't have posted this. Secondly, he made an account less than an hour after you made the thread, kind of pointless for you to post it. Third, don't start name calling and stuff because that will just end up getting your thread locked faster.
  3. Yes but you still had another 12.7 million xp to go =D> Yeah... But once I'm done with rcing and I become a member again I'm going to get 99 herblore Done with rcing how? You are only 51, you are nowhere near "done" rc, nor would you have anywher near enough money for 99 herblore.
  4. I really don't see this as an achievement of your own. You went to a boss and didn't get a drop. That is basically the whole premise of the thread. Grumpy should have posted a thread for getting the rarest drop in the game, you shouldn't have.
  5. [/hide] The thing with these statistics is runecrafting can be leveled the fastest way possible without huge costs. At the fastest way possible you will still profit a fair bit. Slayer on the other hand could be faster if people spent millions of gp every day to finish the tasks they are given. It would be highly possible to get a close amount or even more then runecrafting if people spent more money to level it the fastest way possible. If people used: red chins cannon ancient magicks spells best melee weapons best armour Potions Familiars etc. They would be able to get insane amount of experience in one day. Most slayers however do not have the funds or do not want to waste the money to level it that quickly. You also have to consider slayer relays on many other skills whereas runecrafting is more standalone and can be leveled without the use of any other skills making it almost unfair to compare in that way to slayer. The two skills are so opposite and different comparing their difficult and time consumption is hard to do in an equal way that does not favour one over the other. While they are both difficult and long skills they are so for different reasons. Also are those daily stats referring to one person? If so that means for runecrafting the person played 24 hours straight gaining 125k xp an hour. That is not possible. Unless of course it happened before the trade limit came into effect whch means that xp is outdated and shouldn't be considered anymore. The slayer records are set with people spending millions, they are during the TSG slayer competitions and people seriously do every task as fast as they can, and cancel other tasks that arent fast to ensure they get the top xp that day. When people do slayer just an above average way, say they just wanted to break even or make a small profit, they can still only do about 25-30k xp an hour. Slayer is not fast by any means. With runecrafting you can do 30k+ an hour easily at level 60 at the ZMI. Slayer also doesn't really rely on a lot of stats. In order to max out training speed you would really only need 99 att, 99 str, 30 def, 40 range and half decent prayer. With runecrafting in order to get a good training speed you need Lunars complete, half decent defence, decent agility and some start up cash. The amount of stuff required to obtain the max training speed shouldnt matter, it is how long the 99 takes overall, and I still think that slayer is much slower, as long as you can stick with rc. Just because rc is boring doesnt mean it takes longer.
  6. A lot of people here are saying Runecrafting, just because slayer is more enjoyable so it seems like the time goes by faster. But purely from a time standpoint, hours spent on slayer would be greater than hours spent on rc. This poll is asking which skill takes the longest, and I think that Slayer is the one that takes the longest. Taking a look at http://runetracker.org which is part of Runescripts tracking function here are the records for each skill. Slayer: 1 Day: 1,301,782 1 Week: 3,296,050 1 Month: 12,394,277 Runecrafting: 1 Day: 3,000,000 1 Week: 5,861,483 1 Month: 17,583,845 So based off records set, which are obviously going to be the maxxed out and absolutely fastest ways of training, runecrafting is way faster.
  7. Change your title, it is stupid to do this. 5/10 for the level, get your other combats up.
  8. A few alright drops, 3 of them aren't even yours though so shouldn't be there.
  9. Like I don't see this as a whiner post, but I really don't think F2p "deserves" another new weapon or armour or anything. They are playing the trial version of a game which is extremely affordable at only $5 a month, and the money made from this should be going into content for the people who are paying. I know people will use the arguement that p2p people will get the items aswell, but they will be useless to us, just look at FoG rewards, which for the most part do nothing for us. F2p has it pretty good, they have just as many servers as p2p, they have access to the p2p market which makes buying items much more easy, and they don't pay a dime. Advertisements allow f2p to play a version of a game that is much better than most games trial versions.
  10. This has no discussion value at all.
  11. Tormented Demons are safe :P Grats though, keep going with slayer, 90 is easy :P
  12. 8/10 -1 for posting another thread when your last one is only halfway down the page. 7/10, keep going!
  13. 3/10 - 87 is only 30% to 99 +1 for it not being cooking or fletching +1 for doing teaks, it is a smart way to level. So I will give it a 5/10, sorry if it seems like a low rate, but it is kind of a random level, and not a completely difficult one to train.
  14. Yah well Jagex does say to always use the newest version of Java.
  15. 4/10 Keep going but this isn't really that big of a level.
  16. Dragonfire shields dont stack! Just get 250 of them!
  17. I think it was the first person to load the area, from what I seen, the people who have been somewhere all day are on top, and even if they move they will still be on top as long as they stay in the same loaded region of the map.
  18. If you are going to say it is a huge total level you should probably get a huge total level, with that cash you could get get your stats up decently high, because 1700 is very low. Also I dont know how you claim to be a pro zerker pure when you pk in the same gear as level 30 pures. 6/10 for bank 4/10 for stats 5/10 overall
  19. Anti++ are just plain too hard to get. With an excalibre or SGS it's easy, just bring 3-4 rows of antis and the rest ponys. You really never need any pots whatsoever besides 1-2 restores for the ponys. They really aren't that hard to get, I used to have about 400 Anti++ and 300 Anti+, they skyrocketed at one point though so I sold them off. When I do my max trips I bring like 6 Anti++, 2 Super Restores and 2 brews.
  20. Not a bad trip, I have had many better ones but that is still a half decent trip. If you are going for max trip length make sure you start bringing Anti++ and learn to do the trip without using like any prayer, I have done a few 6 hour trips now and I have had 3 trips which got me 15M+ loot.
  21. If you are going to post a thread every few days you should just edit your old one.
  22. Over the last few days Mod MMG has been going in his clan chat at nights and answering questions that people ask. I was in there one day and got these few main points and thought you guys may like to see them. He was also in there today but I did not go in, if anyone has the questions he answered today then please post them. [*:2d17jfo2]Bounty Hunter - They are still working on this currently, but they are making a lot of progress on it. They aren't just "fixing" the RWT aspects of it, but changing much of the minigame to make it resemble the old wilderness more. [*:2d17jfo2]The 150th Quest - They ran into a few problems while making this quest, so it is delayed atm, they know that everyone is expecting a big quest here so they are trying to perfect this quest to meet peoples expectations. They have several other quests complete already and ready for release, but they are smaller, and they really want to make people happy with #150. Mod MMG really does not want to release a smaller quest for the 150th that will not be appreciated. [*:2d17jfo2]Blackmarks - Jagex has made a lot of progress on a new system where blackmarks will automatically degrade over time. Old punishments such as Legacy punishments will be removed, and depending on the severity of the offence they will degrade faster or slower. Also they will ease up on the amount of blackmarks you recieve and the punishments associated with it. [*:2d17jfo2]Junk Trading - Mod MMG has stated that he does not mind if people use junk trading, as it takes time and effort to make the junk. The most interesting thing is that he stated that they are working on a quest that will drain junk out of the game, and money will be put back into the economy. Since he said that the quest will be released in the future, I do not think this will be #150 or #151 since he did not say it will be the next one, and he already stated that #151 is already complete. Although we no longer have a Behind the Scenes, we do have him answering questions on future updates which is nearly the same. This put with the Development Diaries that will be released soon means that we do still get a good view of future content.
  23. Today Mod MMG was in his clan chat and talking about the time in which future updates will be coming out. I was in there for a while and here are some of the highlights he said about updates coming out soon.
