Spent the entire freaking night trying to figure out how to get iTunes 8 to download properly (posted a Tech thread) and then around 11:30pm I read on Apple's support that the protection softwares could be blocking it... and it turns out my internet security was blocking it. :wall: I'VE LOST SO MUCH SLEEP TRYING TO FIX THIS GOD CABBAGED PROBLEM. UGH! I just wanna run around and slash the heads off Barbarians to vent my frustration! :evil: Srlywanakilmiself. :x :x Bowled a 79 today in gym for the first day of bowling (we ride the bus to the bowling alley, bowl for about 30 minutes, and then ride back to school; $30 fee for about 10 weeks of bowling; twice a week). -.- Dang. Only good thing is that it's snowing. I heard 4-8 inches here in the Chicago suburbs, but we'll have to wait and see. (90% of the snow melted all last week, and Christmas week there was about 3 inches total. :( )

Turns out my COMODO Internet Security was blocking it this entire time. For the past two days, my heart's been beating irregularly because of this stupid problem, and it was all because of COMODO. F---ing thing. :wall:

1. Fur coat sales ads. Seeing the women on the screen twirl slowly with their lush $4,000 mink furs on makes me want to go in and choke them. 2. Attorney ads (in which they always have to have the background of the gigantic bookcase with the dark red [law?] books in them). The lawyers/attorneys sound so boring! :x

I recently bought a new iPod Classic, and when I plugged it into my computer, it said I needed to download iTunes 8 (the most current version). Up until this point, I've been using an older version for my iPod Mini (2005 4GB) without any troubles. So, I figure I can just go to the http://www.apple.com website and download it from there. After I open the Setup, I accept the terms in the license agreement, and then I see this screen: [hide=][/hide] If I click on "Change...", I get this screen: [hide=][/hide] So then I click "Ok" and then "Install", and I get this screen: [hide=][/hide] Ok, now here's the weird part. 2 seconds later, I get this screen: [hide=][/hide] And the 3rd screen didn't even completely load... I didn't even see a tiny bit of the bar fill up. Then I check all over my computer and I don't see a trace of iTunes 8 having downloaded... #-o :evil: I've deleted iTunes (still have my music folders), QuickTime, and Bonjour, so I can't listen to my music on my computer atm. I've searched iTunes, QuickTime, Bonjour, Apple, and none of them are 'supposedly' on my computer; but I have a feeling that there's an iTunes application that's preventing iTunes 8 from properly downloading. Is there any way for me to get iTunes 8 to download? Thanks. :wall:
