It's worth it. If they just didn't do anything the game would be full of cheaters. Atleast this way they are stopping some or many cheaters and don't say Jagex is killing the game, I would rather die with a fight than just accept that I have been defeated without a fight. Together we can win!

Ok, lets go for rares. 10. Omg, dueling arena dead. 11. Great Exchange is about to kill merchanting. 12. I might as well burn all my cash on a Yellow Phat now. 13. This is where you continue the story. Lol, short and sweet story! Actually..merchanting didn't fully die after the release of GE, during the 3 first days of GE I made a fairly large amount of money. It can't be alphabetized since it's based on Total levels. I think it would be pretty useless if it was alphabetized since you wouldn't be competeting against other players.

But you are P2P. It (the list) is for 100% F2P'ers, aka, people with the indicated req'ts who have never been a member. Yeah, I think the list should be 55 - 85 Combat and good idea Ammo, to make it Top 20 and then increase the numbers of people in the list to like Top 100 and maybe even Top 200.

Yeah, maybe gold farmers will have an easier way to sell their items but they will still have problems. Since they can't trade the GP through staking they have to do it other ways such as Trading which Jagex can detect so I don't think Jagex looks at these massive amounts of items being sold in the GE I think they still look at where the big money goes/unbalanced trades and there are no unbalanced trades in the GE. Btw...Gold Farmers are not the only ones that sell, for example: 100k Coal or any other huge amounts of items there are Merchants too. Banning a person for selling a massive ammounts of something for a reasonable price in the GE would just be stupid. EDIT: Off-Topic: YES!! Finally after waiting 1 - 2 weeks for the GE I sold my 300k Airs! :mrgreen:

This didn't help me at all! I solved this problem a long time ago..by selling my armour. :P But, yeah it's a nice way to save bank space.

Merchanting will never die. Making lots of money in F2p will never die. I am F2p and I merchant and use skills to make money. I can mine Runite though I never do, I can smith Rune which have made me lots of money, Woodcutting is an excellent money-making skill and even RC can also be good but most money I've ever made in one day was..today..thanks to the GE! :D Maybe my new way of merchanting will not last long but it was sure fun today! Why do some people hate merchants? All we do is buy an item or many items for a reasonable price and sell it for another little bit higher reasonable price, it's not like we raise the prices of items.

I think it's pretty dumb to just stay in the GE and wait for the items to get sold after all the purpose of it is to save time when selling/buying items. :lol: I haven't got a single random in there today and I've been there alot but never stayed for long. :P

Nah, they didn't kill merchanting if you know how to merchant with the GE. :-w I love this update.... so far, I can't see into the future but so far I love it. Yes, Jagex controls the prices but I think it's too early to say that it is good or bad.

same happened to me on 99 People are "panicing" in world 1 at the GE. Stupid noobs spamming and making me lagg.

Merchanting is dead... :evil: On the contrary. Jagex's decision to artificially restrict the free market will make merchanting very profitable. It's going to have the exact opposite of the intended effect. Never had a better merchanting day than today! :mrgreen: I have a problem, I can't sell yews for under 390ea and Can't sell Raw Lobbies for 240ea... Anyone else having the same problem?

Many people think otherwise, I'll let them prove you wrong I think Jagex has never liked rares in the place so they have been introducing high value items like dfs, dfh and GS that have almost similar street value to rares to draw attention away from rares. Jagex wouldn't be happy to see an item they put in a game 6 years ago as an happy holiday drop become the state they are today. :boohoo: Yeah, I think that too. When POH's were released prices fell and so did they when Skill capes were released but as The Platypus said, wait a week or a month or a couple of months and prices will rise again. 2 Years ago rares were very cheap because I bought 2 santas for 10M at that time and yes, it has been a bad year and just for fun I wrote down the price of Santas before Skill Capes were released, 27 - 30M and after skill capes, 23 - 25M. These numbers are absolutely accurate.
