Those that read what the topic poster said and those that posts on topic have not asked for any updates, the question is, Do you think F2p will get Summoning? Not, F2p should get Summoning.

I had people on it that had been there for years, cleaned it like a month ago and private is 99% of the time ON. :D

There are many top/old players that have achieved big things. Two of the ones I personally like the most are Mendark 9 and Syzygy for getting so far in F2p and for being the first to get so far.

That's not enough solid proof to prove your point. You say you see many Members gathering their own resources but that doesn't mean that there are enough of them to please every Members needs, you can't base something on a few players out of millions of players, it's just like pulling statics out of your rear. F2p is a big part of the raw resources, just think about it, there are many millions more F2p players than there are Members, of course not all of these millions of players gather resources but, I think, alot more F2p players than Members do it. F2p is important to the raw resource market and Members could survive without our resources but the prices would be sky high. The topic starter is just trying to get some respect of people, I don't think he is trying to make F2p players look more or less important than anyone else, the ones that should be respected are the ones that treat you good and not Flame about something just by reading the topic title. :roll:

Yeah, people should respect other people but not because we are F2p or because they are Members. The reason to why prices would go up without the F2p resources (Yews, Coal, Raw Lobbies etc) would be because a large quantity of RuneScape's players would be gone. Without the F2P'ers the number of resources would dramatically decrease. Now the people we should show respect to are, the ones that follow the rules and gather the resources we need, no matter if they are F2p or Members.

Are you sure it's not the hours you spend infront of the computer? I get annoyed when there are 10+ threads about the same thing but this thread is pretty different from others, people are discussing if Summoning should be F2p or not and pros/cons of it being F2p unlike most other threads that are about F2p which almost always turn into flame wars and what you said is clearly just spam.

No, I donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t think so. Or you can't say all or majority of skillers wonÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be interested. I think people will interested in summoning for the simple fact that it is a new skill and something the can yield great reward. Wither you just want decent levels or 99 in all you can, you will be interest in summoning in some way. You may love it because of its combat. You may not like it because itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s another thing you have to worry about. You may only like it for its art concepts and creativeness but never try the skill because you may be going or attempting to do something else. Even if you just want to do mining, crafts and such you could still find summoning pretty interesting. A skiller does have to be just a person involved in smiting and stuff. A skiller can be any person who looks to prefect a skill and summoning is a skill so a skiller will be interested, just not all types or the ones you think. Also to say F2P got a bunch of new updates is true. But so did members since they can still participate in these updates. But they were not for just to give F2P something because for F2P to complain about wanting Summoning too would be greedy. But the fact is those updates were to STOP RWT. This just happened to involve F2P getting new stuff. RWT can still function in a F2P world so they had to make these update, wither you like them or not, or find them fair. Now if these updates were to reward F2P for still playing and push them to P2P then F2P could be considered a little greedy if demanding this skill because Jagex just gave you Bounty Hunter, Duel, and some other stuff when you donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t even pay. Thats is so true, PolarBearBlue! :) Also, I think, Jagex made Duel Arena avaiable for F2p becuase they removed Wilderness and as many other players, Jagex knew that Bounty Hunter won't fully replace the old Wilderness and they are still working on PvP mini games and I think Summoning Mini-games will be one of the updates that will be a part of the "replacing Wilderness plan". This is also an argument to make Summoning F2p because many members enjoyed pking in F2p and most clans Pked in F2p so by making Summoning F2p these clans have more options of PvP. Even though I do not want Summoning to be F2p, there still are some good reasons to make it F2p and one of these is not to please the whining, the "I want updates" people but one of the reasons can be that making it F2p will please the Pkers which are a big part of RuneScape then again making it Members only can make the Pkers subscribe to members and "Voila", less whining Pures in F2p and more in P2p. :P

Oh, so they don't owe us P2Per's? They already gave f2p some big updates like the duel arena. Jagex doesn't owe anyone anything. F2p'ers play for free and get what they get, P2p'ers pay to play and get what they pay for.

Why the hell not? JaGex has done many things this year that probably made you piss yourself. For me, adding duel arena was my wowsy moment, a P2P only thing. I wouldn't be surprised if they added the cat or summoning; after all, it's just a cat. Just a cat. I repeat. JUST A CAT. Many posters here are almost ignorant of the outside world, it seems. For one, many of you act like every person can afford members. Ha, no. So, it's nice if F2P get's some updates, which they have done for us a lot this year. With summoning adding the combat increase, P2Pers have an advantage. Well, crap. What's JaGex gonna do next? Restrict any CB 127 or above people from F2P worlds? I wouldn't be surprised with this either with these really bizarre updates. Now that Duel arena will allow you to bet money in accordance with your QP, the Duel Arena will be used a lot by F2Pers, for the sole purpose of earning money...And remember, that WAS P2P only at the time. So with what JaGex is doing, who knows. Wait...I sense a disturbance in the force...Is it irony I sense? Your sig claims you're F2P for life, yet you hope it's P2P...I'm surprised. Most F2Pers will beg for this kind of update, but you apparently don't care. But are you sure your F2P for life? Or are you P2P? I'm 100% sure that I'm F2p and have always been. :lol: From what I have read on the Diaries and here, I don't really like Summoning and that's why I don't want it to be F2p. Even if they added it to F2p, how many 126+ Pure F2p'ers would you see? Not many, since it's already a real pain, I mean extremely hard to get 99 RC or/and 99 Prayer in F2p, so why the hell would we want an even harder skill to train? There is only 1 Pure F2p'er with 99 Prayer and I don't think many F2p'ers will get 90+ in a short time. Also, Summoning looks like a really big skill, I mean it looks like it will involve alot of new NPC's, new areas and new items which I highly doubt any of them will be F2p.

I don't think there is a chance of them making Summoning F2p for some reasons, Shop in Yanille, Cats are already P2p, Summoning has connections with Hunter, New areas will be needed for the new NPC's and there are probably more reasons to not make it F2p. I hope they make it Members Only because just like I hate RC in F2p I don't think I'll like Summoning either and I don't want it for some other reasons. The last decision is made by Jagex and we can only speculate what it will be and I truly hope they make it Members Only.

Deserve and deserve...I don't think the people in the Jagex tower goes around thinking ..."What does F2p deserve and what do they not deserve?" It's more like, "What is needed to add to F2p so we can get more members?" Don't look at F2p'ers and P2p'ers as 2 different races because it's a game and Jagex is the owner, the decision maker, the mighty god of RuneScape and the company that have a goal to keep their game alive, please their costumers and make a profit of their work. No matter what you call F2p'ers, Freeloaders, F2p garbage, leechers, whiners etc. It won't change Jagex decision to update F2p or not update. Calling us bad names simply makes you look like an idiot infront of other people. Deserve? It's not like you work to make the game better, you simply pay to play the whole game. I am gratefull to what I get and so should everyone else be whether they pay or not and everyone should have the right to complain whether they pay or not after all without some critizism Jagex wouldn't be able to fix what's wrong.

I invest on stuff. (Hate to have money stacked in my bank without using them) I mine Runite too and considering to start cutting Yews when I get bored of Rune-mining but as it looks right now, Rune-mining is still fun. :D I don't really need money but runecrafting is just too boring to train and I don't mine Runite for money, I just do it because it's fun and I need just one more Smithing level to reach my goal.

Revenants, I;m sure. Thats a laugh, pkers are stronger :roll: I'm not sure which one is stronger but I know that Pkers were much smarter and harder to run from since there were real people behind the pixels. I mine Rune and when mining in the old wilderness Pkers didn't hit often since I just ran away or logged out but Revenants can catch you right before you notice that they are there and they hit very High, a level 68 hit a 25 on me. There are still ways to kill other players and I don't usually train combat but I have tried the Clan Wars on my pure with a couple of friends/clan friends and it's really fun.

It's a large step for RuneScape against RWT but some people on this forum and probably many other forums too seem to think only of three things, Me, Myself and I. I mean, come on, don't be so selfish and stop ignoring the reason of why Jagex had to do this and how this helped alot of old and new players. It got rid of RWT but also many other bad things in RuneScape. Instead of just posting on every thread about RWT that you can't PK anymore, why don't you get your lazy [bad word] and think of a solution. Take a couple of minutes of your life to read the latest article on the RuneScape main page. Make your voice heard not by saying how you dislike the latest updates but by giving a good suggestion on how to fix problems because a rant about the recent updates won't be a unique thing to do but making a good suggestion will be unique and seen by hopefully many people and it might just make a change in RuneScape.

If random events and pure ess are useless now, then why not get rid of the "Unlimited Runes for 17 Ea and the Feather update" and make them how they were before that update, this way, if F2p and P2p uses the same ess to runecraft, that ess will probably rise in price and so will the Runes F2p runecraft. Now F2p Runecrafting won't die. If Jagex gets rid of one anti-macro update why not get rid of them all?
