15th July 2009 - PvP Changes
They didn't have 10m+ weapons back in 06  metagame is so different from 06 I fail to see how that video holds any relevance.

Solo bandos or armadyl?
You will be able to solo 2-3 bandos a trip ranging. Thats about how much I solo and I have 93 range, 83 defence 89 hp and 69 summoning. 70 prayer though but I rarely use piety and I doubt the extra few points the prayer potions will help you. Heres a good guide http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=103&t=748158

Jagex Message I Recieved - Explain...
I would phone Jagex, talk to a real person. Going through their online customer service sucks bollocks. Just make sure you have lots of patience because it will probably take a while to get any decent answer out of any customer service.

maging question
Not much, you can cast around 1140 spells a hour.

A (new) FIX to 26king
How do you know it will cripple 26king? Who are you to decide what someones business is in the wilderness? What makes you think they never pked in their life? How does drinking saradomin brew require teamwork? And if 3 minutes is to much for their ADD how are they even playing runescape? This may 'cripple' 26king, but people are not going to be at any disadvantage doing this except maybe people with low defense who do not receive benefits from the boost of brews. Even then if you are desperate enough you can just use ancient teleports to teleport deeper into the wilderness walk a little bit and then teleport back. It doesn't really do anything, it just bothers legitimate pkers and 26king users.

A (new) FIX to 26king
Juhniz, I was just about to post that because this fellow felt his idea was really really good. Anyway, on second thought this is a horrible idea. You think someone isn't going to bring a bunch of saradomin brews and pineapple pizzas? And pray? ancient magicks? Dragon spear? This idea may hinder 26king but it will not fix the 'problem'.

Prices of pure essence
Probably the result of Jagex banning bots. Pure essence was what a lot of peopled botted overnight.

A (new) FIX to 26king
Except no one uses junk when they 26k, so it makes no difference. And no, the investments do not take money out of the game. What it does is takes ITEMS out of the game, items which usually never sell in the first place. And no, I do not feel like going to RSOF just to read your/someone elses idea on how to stop 26king. Maybe you should paste it here.

Poor treasure trail rewards.
Jesus, it takes you 20 to 30 minutes to do a clue? No wonder why you think they are bad money - your wasting time doing them!

Anyone tried out the new mini-game, Camping Armies?
Rushing usually is played because it usually does make you win if you pull it off successfully. People don't rush in competitive starcraft because they lose or can win quickly, they rush because it gives their strategy a better chance. Any other RTS game is meh, SC is the best imo for competitive play. In fact there is only one end goal in competitive Starcraft, and that IS winning. They don't care about rank especially when prizes start coming into the equation. Anyway I hate how each race is inherently better then another race when fighting. Reminds me of rock paper scissors. They should have made each race the same statistically but gave them some sort of ability. Also as it stands conflict is just 4 people all for themselves with just fighting. I bet Hoard would be a much better gameplay mode since that looks like it would require some micro management and may actually bring a use to light squads (as it stands, light squads are fast at moving but have lower combat stats. And exploring really isn't stellar so there really is no point to having them in conflict). I have no problem with not being able to mass select squads since there is not a lot of squads in the first place. Anyway I do not play RTS that often so I bet someone can come up with better arguments, not only that but this discussion has been already done a bunch load of times by competitive gamers who seemingly always have better game design ideas as far as game balancing goes.

Several Questions
You will need 90+ melee stats to solo bandos, or 90+ range and +80 def.

DDOSing In Scape
If a player is having troubles with having their internet connection being flooded then they should phone their ISP and request a new IP.

Good luck trying to convince Jagex otherwise.

11th June 2009 - Macro-detection systems update
the most popular bots site is worse, they are still making new topics about it . But that community has always been filled with immature kids because of how easy it is to use, access and its good reliability. Wether Jagex actually updated they just totally wrecked a lot of peoples opinion on the safeness of bots. And about this topic possibly advertising bots... You may look at it like that, but if anyone wants to cheat on RS they are going to find it because they are determined.

New multitasking abilities? (party's over for now)
At least when you are able to drop while fishing or woodcutting you are interacting more, that is what I believe this game seriously needs. More interaction - everything is click, change window read/do something for three minutes come back click repeat bank repeat etc etc. That is probably what makes this game so boring is that there is so little interaction, I love pking and killing bosses ... why? Because you have to interact with the game during those scenarios. Maybe this is just my opinion though.

11th June 2009 - Macro-detection systems update
Lol SCAR using BCEL... And RIB isn't a next generation bot, it has been around for a while now. And BCEL does not inherently make a bot detectable... And I think its proof enough that not everyone that used RSBot is banned, either Jagex is still collecting accounts to do one huge ban or their system is not as good as they claim to be. RSBot has almost 40k active members on their forums, if even only 10% of that active number botted then we should have seen atleast 4k bots banned. 400 or 500 accounts banned is small. Though, hey I could be wrong, they could have updated their system and tomorrow I may just wake up to read " 40,000 accounts banned". But I am skeptical.

11th June 2009 - Macro-detection systems update
I only know of one very very mainstream bot, and another bot that will be getting much more popular. One of those uses a modified client, and the other uses a technique called reflection. You can not detect reflection, since all it does is read data at run time... You can only detect what they do after reading the information (clicking, mouse movements, etc).
-
11th June 2009 - Macro-detection systems update
What I find funny is, people on sites dedicated to cheating complain how their legit accounts get banned, and not their bot accounts. Also, it is not as easy as detecting if the RS client is modified - because in a lot[/b] of cases the client IS NOT modified.

11th June 2009 - Macro-detection systems update
Alright ill try once more - if after that ill give up. Let us say that anyone can run 8 bots. And let us say that you run all 8 bots for 16 hours a day. And let us assume you get 50k exp a hour woodcutting. Now if Jagex can detect bots as good as they claim now, lets say you get banned in two weeks. Sure, you spend two weeks at 16 hours a day and now you got 8 accounts with 96ish woodcutting, but your also banned. There is no real good way to transfer money anymore, so running any bot that is guaranteed to get you banned is a waste of time. I mean sure, you actually don't do anything but you are still losing time because you gained nothing at all. So if Jagex isn't talking BS (I can't say for sure, its in THEIR best interest to say they can detect X and Y) then yeah, a lot of botting population is gone because it is a waste of time to bot just to have it banned. The only reason why this bot in peculiar is so popular is because any noob can use it, and youtube doesn't help the matter.

11th June 2009 - Macro-detection systems update
What Is that supposed to mean? It means what it means - that even if you use a bot you still only get xx experience a hour. You don't make a account, bot for say 4 hours a day to only get banned a week or two later. That would be a total waste of time.
-
11th June 2009 - Macro-detection systems update
Yeah, most people don't make their own bots they just download other made bots. But all the bots are fairly stealthy (And some are very stealthy, depending on the bot). You don't download a bot that has a 100% chance of getting you banned in one week, unless you plan on pumping out tons of throw-away accounts and botting 24/7 (back in A-ryan days). Now you can't do that, so people don't throw away their investment. Just because people don't actually spend time botting, they do still spend time. It still takes time to get experience.

11th June 2009 - Macro-detection systems update
Lol what a bunch of propaganda. Jagex's detection system is basically recording your mouse clicks, how your mouse moves and keystrokes. The two biggest bots use mouse functions that basically form a bezier spline for movement, giving the mouse movements nice human looking paths, and clicks are random. One of two of those bots is a java bot though, and its always been my belief that it was detectable (The way it functions). However that doesn't stop BCEL bots though since they never modify the client, they can not be detected (unless they have a bad mouse function or do something stupid etc). In other words, most of the problem is gone until another bot becomes popular (That is if they aren't just making a bunch of BS up and at least some of this is true). Doubt it though.
