Better fish xp - sowrds/tuna or lobs?
Not that you would want to cook them if you're looking for money.

Bolt Enchanting vs Alching
I just insta bought 2k diamond bolts and enchanted them. I'm having a bit of trouble selling them though, even at min. However even if they only sell at min, I profit by a tiny bit.

Bolt Enchanting vs Alching
First of all, a little bit more clarification on bolt enchanting: 1. Demand is pretty good for enchanted diamond and dragon bolts, right? 2. Is the enchant rate roughly the same as the alch rate right? 3. Which bolt would be the easiest to sell back? I'm looking at diamond and dragon bolts. Alright, so now I want to ask why people alch over bolt enchantments? Isn't it slightly more xp and even profitable? The only reason I can see is that it's a bit more movement of the mouse. I've just been wanting to find something to do while tending my farming patches.

How many hours to get 2,7m tokkul?
I reeaaally can't justify turning an onyx into a ring that gives +1 stats over the dragonstone version, which costs about 1000x less streetwise. I'll stick to my marginally inferior ring that is much much easier to replace tyvm.

Turmoil
In boosting yourself it's a tiny bit better; in some cases it's actually worse. The big thing is that it drains your opponents offensive capabilities, most noticeably lowering their max hit and increasing your chances to hit.

Placing spirit tree?
Call me weird, but I have mine in Port Sarim for the super convenient access to the whole spirit tree network combined with the lummy ring. I might not always have a few laws and the right runes on me, my glory could be fresh out of charges, and my home teleport might be used up, but my lummy ring 3 is ALWAYS on me.

Woodcutting for money
I'm under the impression that eucalyptus and mahoganies are better for money. At 76 wc, I managed around 200k/hr at mahogs.

Oranges
The thing is, nobody picks up the oranges - they only pick up the papayas. Oranges are pretty much only useful for maples. There are so many people in this game though, so perhaps a large number have taken a liking to farming. I can't see any large particular reason for a sudden surge in farming interest. Sure herbs are nice and profitable nowadays, but the herblore update was quite a while ago. Highscore boards are also quite evident that farming isn't the most popular skill out there. My relatively paltry level 85 in farming far outranks a whole mess of 99s in other skills.

Oranges
Has the price cap only recently been released? I know when bronze and iron knives let loose they exploded like crazy. Maybe oranges were always destined to be this high. In any case, I think I'm going to hold off growing curries just a little longer. Orange trees FTW

Oranges
Hurrah! I guess 1 year of farming pretty much only orange trees has paid off  Time to turn in and profit.

Oranges
Are they legitimately worth this much or is it just that a merch clan has taken hold of them. They've been skyrocketing for about a month now. This rise may or may not mean I have 4 mil gp worth of oranges in my bank now

Useful Items less than 7m
What do you have already? Is this for CB or skiling? Otherwise: Whip Z Spear Staff of Light (Full) Slayer Mask Components Full Prossy Dragon Axe A boat load of glories

Training Range
Well if you're broke and want to range, avies are pretty much the best thing for ranged money making other than Armadyl GWD and TDs, but those take closer to maxed ranged and a little more gear. I'd say start out with avies and if you get bored of the setting, slay a bit.

dragon bones
I really think they need to buff the bonecrusher in light of this. Prayer xp is getting more and more prohibitively expensive to train. They should: -Reduce the price even further -Affects bones that automatically appear in inventory (IE Hunter) -Give a little multiplier to all bones that get buried with the crusher The extent the last one could work maybe something like "gives 3x multiplier, but does no work dragon bones and above". That would actually give it quite a bit more use and keep it up in line for usefulness.

Making Money And Generating Wealth
I second the farming suggestion. Along with MTK, you'll have two very steady sources of pretty much guaranteed income for very little effort.

How do bow sightings work?
I would still work on dungeoneering now and get those tokens as you'll need around level 50 just to get 1 sight. But really, the super high accuracy might not be worth the bit of speed you lose from using a longbow instead of a shortbow. I'd hold off on buying the sight just yet; Jagex has been talking about give you the ability to buy back items for a discounted price if you died with them.

[Help Wanted!] Mining: A Complete Guide
Same as above, but no Tbird Equipment is same: Run 1: Total Time Taken: 00:36:10 XP Gained: 16520 XP/H: 27533 Ores: 472 Ores/H: 786 Run 2: Total Time Taken: 35:06 XP Gained: 16020 XP/H: 27462 Ores: 456 Ores/H: 762 I find it interesting that the Tbird gives less than a 5% improvement over having no tbird.

Barraging on Defensive/Battle Robes
I recall that Jagex explicitly stated that the battle robes have a chance of activating their own effect on top of the already boosted SoL effect, which makes for a 65% chance to save runes overall.

F2P Dungeoneering Rewards
I've got really mixed feelings about the MLB sight. On one hand, it'll make the most accurate weapon in F2P. On the other, it's a longbow so you're sacrificing that extra tick of speed that makes the short bow such an effective F2P ranged weapon. Unless you PVP against tanks, I can't see all that extra accuracy giving you much of an edge anyway. The coal bag is definitely something to look at. It only makes a better case for superheat being one of the best F2P magic xp sources.

Prayer Flashing
Oh sorry, I made a mistake. I'm waiting until the animation starts, turning it off for the duration of the animation, and then trying to guess when to turn it back on. However, I'm still getting hit. I guess I should try this on a slower attacking monster than abby specs, but I know others are able to do it.
-
Prayer Flashing
When exactly does the prayer have to be active to block damage? I used to be really good at pray flashing, but at some point during an update to prayer it didn't seem to work anymore. Right now, I'm anticipating when they're going to to attack and the keep my prayer until the second I see the attack animation stop and then I turn my prayer off. However, it seems more like I have to keep it on for when the actual hit indicator appears on me.

Steady Decline in Cosmic Runes
For the last 3 months, they've been dropping steadily. Anyone have any idea they've fallen as much as they have?

Looking for advice on direction.
This. I've never regretted how I started out when I became a member. Just wander around, explore, do a few quests. The aimless wandering and exploration is some of the most fun you'll have in all of Runescape. When I did my first few quests and trained my new member skills for the first time after 6 years of F2P, it was a huge rush of nostalgia. Not that I had played it before, but because it the was the experience of being a total noob and seeing things for the first time, just like when I first started playing RSC back in 2002.

Battle Robes
Yeah the set is really only truly useful when combined with the SoL and casting a ton of super expensive spells. Bursting/Barraging is a good example.
