Armour advice
I would just like to add that sacred clay platebodies have the same amount of defence as a rune plate, but are about 7 kgs lighter. This makes them great for places where you need defence + lightness like abyss runs.

75-99 Mage
Mind you, getting stealing creation mage hats doesn't save you much money or time. They only halve the amount of time you're actually stunning. An average non-combat SC game takes around 15 minutes from game start of one game to the game start of the next (so that includes lobby room stuff). Now assuming you get enough points per game for 2.2 hat recharges per game (I'm also assuming you have a lot of hats to start), that means you get 4.8 hats per hour. Each hat offers 20k XP bonus xp, which means you're getting 96000 bonus xp from each hour of playing stealing creation. That extra 96000 xp is worth 192k in soul runes for casting stun spells. As you can see, you're not really saving much time or money since you're actually using that time to play SC itself. The only benefit to using the hats is to just reduce your time actually stunning, but if you want that you could just try a different spell, like superheat, humidify, or superglass make.

Gravite 2h
Not to mention if you're going to range 2h that you'll need to be very careful about switching styles or just use the super inaccurate slash option.

A few herblore questions.
I know for a fact that super atks sell (Sold about 300 nearly instantly last week), but they only sell instantly if you decant them into 4-dosers (Just use the decanter at the GE)

War Films
Anyone know any good war films? In particular I'm looking for a film about special forces like the SAS, Navy Seals, or general spec ops-y sort of stuff. A nice movie about the Africa Campaign from WWII would also be cool, especially about Rommel's exploits. However, anything that's just particularly interesting is welcome. I've already seen a lot of the more famous ones like: Saving Private Ryan Black Hawk Down Pearl Harbor The Hurt Locker Platoon Thin Red Line Miracle at St. Anna We Were Soldiers Windtalkers Flags of our Fathers (Haven't seen Letters for Iwo Jima yet though, anyone seen it?) The Pianist Defiance Valkyrie Inglourious Basterds Enemy at the Gates Jarhead The Kingdom Battle of the Bulge Most of the above list I've seen multiple times. I've also rewatched Band of Brothers a whole bunch of times and am working my way through The Pacific (Not as good as BoB imo). I've also actually watched most of Downfall, even more than the small clips that get turned into "Hitler gets banned from Runescape". There have been movies I'm interested, but haven't gotten around to watching: Schindler's List Top Gun Kelly's Heroes (seen a tiny bit of it) Devil's Brigade Das Boot In the Valley of Elah Full Metal Jacket Apocalypse Now If anyone could give a recommendation or review on any of the above movies that would be great. Finally, I'd just like to discuss war films in general. From a modern perspective, I'd have to say Black Hawk Down is my favourite one, followed by maybe Hurt Locker. From a WWII perspective, it's hard to beat Band of Brothers even though it's not really a movie. The Pianist was a really good non-combat WWII movie. I haven't really taken a liking to the Vietnam films out there, but We Were Soldiers was alright for its action scenes and Platoon for its "zomg war is hell" motif.

1 - 85 Magic?
If you want magic xp, you should do neither method. Both are complete loss and not even that stellar xp. Laws are also only 270-280 nowadays (You can check the GE at any time using the Grand Exchange page found on the main page -> manual -> Grand Exchange). So it should only cost around 18-19 mil. However, 55.5xp and 5gp/xp per cast is still pretty low. Superheat costs around 2gp/xp at most and can profit depending on the markets. It's much faster to cast and you gain some smithing xp on top. Superheat itself is cast around twice as fast as teleporting.

SNSD - Girls' Generation
I appreciate your comments. Prejudice is rampant across the Internet and few people can truthfully claim that they are not guilty of it. Even my own assumptions in my rebuttal post were rather hastily-made. I'll agree that there definitely people that fit the bill of the stereotypical "weeaboo" or whatever labels the Internet has conjured. However because they're just so incredibly extreme and totally socially inept, people linger on this image so much to the point that once someone exhibits some inkling of a related trait to the generalized stereotype, they are more often than not lumped right into the same group anyway. It's really quite fascinating how the Internet has so drastically facilitated these social behaviours. The nearly instantaneous access to vast libraries of media and information as well as being able to network with intricate communities has spawned lots of new archetypes. I feel that the overwhelming sense of anonymity, on part of both the user and the peers they interact with, that one can get leads to behaviors and differences in judgment. And yes. Snakes and Arrows the Rush album. Like I said, I was never really into one particular group. As such I have a smattering of cheap classical collections, 3 Rammstein albums, and an impulse buy of Snakes and Arrows because my friend got me into listening to them that particular week. Neil Peart is a drumming deity. Ironically, I haven't gotten any SNSD albums yet. None of my local stores carry them and I don't have a credit card to order online D:

SNSD - Girls' Generation
I take offense to all your suppositions that I'm obsessed with Asian culture. I don't watch anime outside what was ever on TV like Pokemon or Gundam stuff. Does it really require you to be obsessed with Asian stuff to like this girl group? Like most people have already said here, they're damn attractive. Sure I find other qualities about them to like, but ultimately their appearances were what got me hooked in the first place. In terms of music, I've never had a defined sense of what I liked. I've shown preference to classical like Chopin or Mahler, but in the end I find myself finding most things bearable to listen to, but not become engrossed with. I have a few Rammstein albums along with Snakes and Arrows. One could probably include music up there with religion, politics, and sex for topics people feel most strongly about and as such there are going to be conflicting opinions and hardheadedness. And FYI, I, like Gallade, am also Asian. In the end, I don't think that should be relevant because people from any culture or background should be able to express interest in any other and not be ridiculed or ostracized. However, clearly the base, close-minded, 4chan influenced circle jerkers of the Internet cannot extend their views past their hyperactive 14 year old minds and being more understanding and insightful. I know age is also often attacked and I seem hypocritical for doing so. Why do I attack 14 year olds? Maybe I shouldn't. If anything, I would be hypocritical for doing so. But really I'm meaning to focus on the maturity levels of the Internet. Age is merely a capacity for one to acquire maturity, but it is by no means a quantifiable means of measure with any sort of direct correlation. I've encountered 12 year olds with more spine and composure than a lot of 16+ I've met on the Internet, be it forums, FPSs, and the like.

Scroll of life + ranarrs = win
Well I don't know about that. I think noble_aloof has taken away something from this all and he's even willing to expand his tests, which is a benefit to all. In the end, Morionic's spreadsheets are probably his best bet for what to do. Sell your ranarrs and then check the spreadsheet for a potion that has a low gp/xp. Beware of summoning potions though. It's very difficult to get the spirit weed and not an easy sell.

SNSD - Girls' Generation
The music is exactly what most pop is - catchy to a large number of people performed by often attractive or charismatic performers. Musically, I probably like Jazz Gee the most (Maybe Genie too. But I could just be biased from the military uniforms they wear  ) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-FtrWiUc5I

Scroll of life + ranarrs = win
Makes a little since i guess. @ Sinkhan, if you posted that earlier i might have believed it. But I'd still like to see a large sample size, I don't like to "take people's words for it" for some things. But anyway, I agree with you on the actual "go out and try it" stance. Nothing is better than empirical observation on a large sample size :)

Scroll of life + ranarrs = win
Exactly, this is essentially what I've been saying from the start. This is a perfect example of expected value. Another 50 or 100 seeds will help to give a better picture, but it's still relatively small. I'd say around 1k is what you need for a good sized test. Why not go for broke and do enough seeds for 99 farming? We'll have an excellent sample size then. :P

SNSD - Girls' Generation
Has/Does/Is anyone here: -heard of SNSD -listen to their songs -totally obsessed with them If you're not familiar with them, let's take it right from Wikipedia: I don't know why, but a lot of people seem to be weirded out when a guy likes a girl group. These girls are just totally gorgeous and freaking adorable. Click my sig for a quick playlist of SNSD songs. 'Gee' is the song that got me completely enamoured with the group and Genie and Run Devil Run are also amazing MVs to watch. The music isn't bad either  How many people listen to K-pop here at all? It's to my understanding groups like Super Junior and SHINee are popular with girls and the Wonder Girls are another popular group that actually debuted with 'Nobody'.

Mother Gaia: An In-Depth Manual to Farming
From the RS KB: So you should be getting back your seeds if they survive, but only random if they're dead. This is actually sorta interesting. Someone at very low farming could grow dirt cheap guam seeds without compost or anything and hoping they die. Then there's a small chance that they get a torstol XD

CLS vs CMaul
Could you explain this a little more? Are you saying if the rapier is hitting 54% of the time, then the CLS would outclass the rapier, but if the CLS was hitting more than 60% of the time, the maul would be better? Some how that doesn't make sense to me.

Computer Lifespan
If you talking about "last" as in "when it will break and explode", then it's generally a pretty long time. Like everyone has already testified, computer hardware itself will continue to function at relatively close to peak performance for very long, depending on how to treat it. However, a generally more realistic definition of "last" would be "how long will it remain useful and keep up with new developments?". In this case, it'll probably be much shorter. If you're talking relatively high end games, 3-4 years is probably the uppermost limit you could go. For just general use like word processing and internet browsing, I'd say around double the time a gaming rig has for playing games. If you never upgrade the software on the computer then you'll be fine. That said, there are just natural factors that can force your hand to get a new computer. If you want to get Microsoft Office 2007, then any computer that only has Windows 98 will be out of luck. I'm not sure how relevant it is, but I think this comic is worth looking at.

Maple Longbow Sighted or Gravite Shortbow
Hitting through rune and 99 def and I would say it goes to the sighted bow. But we have to remember that the speed of the sight bow is that of a longbow, which on rapid is a longsword and accurate a godsword. The main thing F2P ranged has going for it is the stupidly fast hits. I think in PVP with all the pures and such it might be better to use the gravite, but replacement/repair costs might be prohibitive.

Scroll of life + ranarrs = win
Most likely due to it being a dead patch. I don't see where y'all are getting that you will get around 10% of your seeds back. I don't see that at all any where. Also from the RS KB: So this is assuming that all his patches stay alive. Perhaps my example isn't quite accurate. If he were to plant 1 million torstol seeds in My Arm's patch, then you'd expect roughly 100k torstol seeds to be recovered. I believe bladewing has some data on farming runs and I think he recorded the number of deaths. If we factor that in I'm sure we could come up with a more accurate figure.
-
Scroll of life + ranarrs = win
He could be. It doesn't return 10% of your seeds. There is a 10% chance that on each seed you will get a seed back, alive be it of the same seed and dead being a random one. I farmed 100 lantadymes and got back 20 seeds, an average of 1 seed a run. Some runs i got back 4 seeds, some none. Well just going from a purely expected value it should be 5. I think if someone where to plant 1 million seeds, the number of seeds that they'd get back would probably be very close to 100k. It might be a little more or a little less, but in the end it should be roughly in that ball park. Remember, 50 and 100 seeds is a very small sample.

CLS vs CMaul
For what? whip+defender > cls+defender.... And what makes you say that?

Scroll of life + ranarrs = win
Most people will agree that you should sell off all the herbs and then if you want to train herblore with this money, buy up the materials for a more time/gp efficient potion. Of course, prayer potions generally rank right up there around the top 5 or so most efficient potions, so it's up to you. Also on your figures, you must have already had some ranarr herbs in your bank or been one of the luckiest farmers ever. Average yields from herb patches are around 6.6 with deaths. The scroll of life only returns 10% of seeds, so you should have only got 5 extra seeds, meaning an extra 30-40 herbs. Are you sure of your numbers?

Mother Gaia: An In-Depth Manual to Farming
I'm planning on going d-ing again and getting 10k tokens for the scroll. Once I do I'll just make note of all my runs, both herb and tree.

Mother Gaia: An In-Depth Manual to Farming
No mention of the Scroll of Life yet. I'd imagine it would be a no brainer d-ing reward for any serious farmer. However, I'm not sure now whether or not to cut down trees yourself. The recent update makes regular trees that you cut down yourself also give a chance of giving seeds. So it's either an expected return of about 12.5k per seed for magics or instant patch clearing.
