Firemaking Locations?
Draynor isn't bad if you want to do both. There are 2 decent lines right down the town that pass through the bank and the WoM's house. 3-4 oaks near the musician. As for dedicated spots, I like FoG over the GE. GE has a lot of people there which can make it a bit laggy at times.

Mining Iron Quickly
I did a few runs of this exact method for zaaps1's mining guide. However, I recommend just using a dueling ring. The time is worth the cost.

Spirit Tree Seeds
I think as a part of a future farming update they should allow us to plant more than one tree.
-
Spirit Tree Seeds
Around 20k, last time I checked.

D Hatchet > Rune Hatchet?
You'll find that the difference is negligible for low level logs since you cut them so fast anyway.
-
Spirit Tree Seeds
I'd be willing to assist you with them for the farming xp, at least for one of them. That gives you a free tree now and me free xp :P

magic = defence xp?
There's a little shield on your magic book. If it's on, you go into defensive casting and get defence xp. Turn it off and it stops :)

Ways to get rich in runescape
That isn't the only good method of free play moneymaking. Runecrafting water runes, runite mining, and cockroach soldiers can easily reach those amounts as well. 500k/hr with water rcing is pretty much impossible the last I checked. The fastest time I managed to get with cabbage telly -> draynor bank was around 2 minutes. It's slightly faster (like 10 seconds tops) using lummy teleport, but then you're using law runes and also taking up a slot for earth/air runes. Even at the max multiplier, I could expect 150k-200k at the very best. I can't speak on roach soldiers since I haven't done them much, but seeing as rune items are their main valuable drop, you'd need to get around 20 an hour to get to 500k. That seems somewhat unlikely.

BTS - But They Said!
You have to realize that Jagex is still a relatively small company with limited resources. With the hundreds of thousands of different hardware setups along with all the different operating system configurations, there's simply no feasible way that Jagex can perform a reasonably large test sample and then fix them. If they did that before releasing everything, you'd probably find fewer updates overall for slightly less buggy content. They still do it obviously, but there's only so much you can do. Within a few days or even just hours of the release of new content, tons of players are potentially testing out that new content and thus put it under tons of different scenarios. Those few hours runs the content through the number of permutations of computers and setups that would take developers weeks if not months to fully test. By releasing mostly functional updates, they can find bugs and fixes MUCH faster since we're the one's doing it. There's always a fine balance to be met during the development process.

Farming guide?
Although zaaps doesn't explicitly say it, do Fairy Tale part 1 for a nice chunk of farming xp and then Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf for another boost. That's level 25-27 right there.

Going back to F2P, help!
Do you EVER plan to go back to P2P? That could affect your choices. Have a look at my (outdated) banking guide for a basic rundown of what items you'll need. Seeing as you can take advantage of the week of members, make sure you get placeholders for just about everything. If you want to be fancy, a treasure trail god trimmed armour set might appeal to you. However, I would wait until the next batch of treasure trails rewards comes out. The only boots that offer appreciable bonuses are the boots from the SoS (Combat or fancy) and all regular capes + wildy capes offer tiny bonuses. Everything else provides nothing.

Lower than -130 dungeoneering clans
I'm in the same boat here. What do you think it would take to start one out of here, Tip.it?

Understanding Junk Trading
The only way I ever accumulated junk was from other people and that way it just floats around like a cushion, bouncing back and forth in purchases, sales, and lends. I typically would lend something out immediately to recash my junk. I'd handle your situation by simply borrowing or buying something you want, but I'm not sure what that means for you if you already have an SGS lol. Another way to reconvert junk into money for me was mobilising armies using the spoils of war option. I never really accumulated much of it.

mining
Powermine granite is the fastest xp from around 55 or so and up, aside from perhaps shooting stars. Bring almost a full invent of waterskins and perhaps some humidify runes (Which is only 1 mage level away from you, and perhaps Dream Mentor). Desert bottom and boots, varrock armour if you have it (I think you need at least level 2) Otherwise the enchanted water tiara is your best bet, but that can get costly with today's water rune prices. There aren't many worthwhile familiars at your summoning level.

When to use/not use RoW?
Goraks are about the only thing you should ever use the RoW on.

Agility 60-70
Wildy Course xp ~= Werewolf course xp with a difference of at most 2-5k an hour. I did the werewolf course for a long time and I managed to get rates comparable to a lot of people I know who did wildy as well as other published xp rates. No revs.

Divine Spirit Shield
Not to mention the maintenance price is much lower. I highly doubt you could run through 25-30 (Around 60000 damage, if I did my calculations correctly) prayer pots with the divine, whereas the shield uses more than 200k an hour since hits drain it faster. On top of that, the divine is resellable/lendable.

Divine Spirit Shield
The only advice I can offer is not to use the chaotic rapier as its damage is supposedly halved (Confirmed by mods). Z spear is probably your best bet.

Skeletal Horror...!
Granted and that the fight isn't quick either, but it's definitely a nice excursion if you so choose.
-
Skeletal Horror...!
It's much more like Tears of Guthix. Both slayer xp and prayer xp are pretty valuable. Be grateful that this is a repeatable reward at all.

Grinding bones
Right ale yeast, my bad :P But yeah, there's not much point to ectotokens other than the yeast iirc. They should really make those bolt racks buyable with them.
-
Grinding bones
NO one did, but i have read it before, and i really dont feel like finding one or building my own for 9m...so the extra time is worth it. Finding one is pretty easy on W31, the house party room. It really is the best way to train prayer. The main advantage I could see with ecto is if you want a slightly more AFKable means of training. Or wanted A LOT of ectotokens to buy "the stuff" for brewing.

Range Slaying?
Make that next week. I personally think snakeskin is just fine. +5 ranged bonus almost seems trivial for a price of 16.8 million.

Dungeoneering - Battleaxe vs 2H vs Spear
Bump. Someone brought the battleaxe to my attention it being like a 1-handed 2h like weapon, but a tick faster, it seems pretty good.

Making an Alchemy Spreadsheet
To be honest here, I'm not sure how realistic it is to have some the items on the list. 95% of all decent alchables are only buyable in blocks of 100 every 4 hours and sometimes you'll miss out on an update and won't be able to buy any at all. If a person can get around 1.1k alchs an hour, you're going to need to do a lot of stockpiling in advance. But anyway, I'll adamant platebodies.
