  1. That sounds good. I'll definitely rework my setup for my next run.
  2. Profit/kills per hour?
  3. Well I've gone through tons of guides and other threads and now I've finally started an aviansie run. I just need a few extra tips. Relevant Stats: 82 HP 86 Ranged 78 Def 75 Pray 75 Summon Current Gear: Neit Glory Sara D'hide body Torag Legs Zammy vambs Archer ring (i) Snakeskin Accumulator Broad Bolts Spirit Shield Invent: EE Fire/Mud Staff (Alchs and B2P) Nats 1. How does this set-up look? Armadyl helms are dropping; would it be worth it to pick one up? On the topic of God protection, are they even worth bringing? I'm killing them on the far west side of the the dungeon and the only non-armadyl monsters that could aggro on me are ogres and werewolves, and I can easily avoid those. 2. Could I also kill efficiently with lower defence? Maybe swap my spirit shield for a zammy book and my Torag legs with some more d'hide. Could I handle the dungeon if I had void and added a bunyip to my inventory? 3. Is it worth it to kill them in the eyrie? Just panning over my camera shows that there's considerably fewer people there, but they're higher level. I also hear that higher level aviansies have a higher bar/rune dagger drop rate. 4. Lastly, how many kills/profit can I expect per hour? Thanks in advance everyone
  4. I highly recommend you ramp up your level a bit via other means before spending any/many charms. Penguins/ToG are definitely good options. Lower level familiars give very little XP per charm; it's pretty much a waste to use your precious charms when you could be using them at later levels. I used a grand total of 10 charms making miscellaneous familiars for quests/random uses getting to level 62, ToGing and using penguin points for all the rest of the XP. Once the bonus weekend came along, I used 1k crims, golds, and greens to get to 75 summoning
  5. What happens when you use a spell/curse/special which affects the stats of another player, but they boosted their stats with pots/specs? Example: Player A uses an extreme to boost their attack by 25 from 99. Player B is all like "Yo foo, ur goin dOwN!" and casts stun, which lowers attack by 10%. I don't know if it'd lower by 9 or 10, but I'll say 10 for simplicity. Player A's attack should go down to 115 right? However, what happens if player B stuns again? Does A lose 10 more attack? Once more? Does he fall to 95? My reasoning is that the spell should only stop working once the other player goes below normal, but there might also be a cool down.
  6. I just did a quick run at werewolf and I quite like the results. My Gear EE Glory (Doesn't really matter I guess) Spottier Cape Penance Gloves Boots of Lightness Ring of Charos Invent Tuna x 26 (Left 2 spaces for rocks) For a small 30k xp test (this was with a 1.9x mult, so closer to 15-16k in reality), I only fell 3 times on the zip line. The EE was more than enough to cover the damage. I fumbled a few of my runs forgetting the stick since this was my first time here. At level 63 agility, my energy never fell below 90. I think if I had half my food in agility pots/summer pies then I would completely eliminate the need for food. The only good familiars would probably be magpie or lurker. T-bird's special isn't needed nor do you need any items.
  7. How does the wildy course compare with the werewolf course?
  8. Anyone think the crest and focus are doing to keep falling for much longer? They've dropped about a mil each in the last week.
  9. If you have no other plans this weekend, you could, theoretically, log in, do a tree run (replant), and log off. Then wait for them to grow, log on, tree run, log off. It'd be good farming exp if you have no other plans. 62 - 74 summoning WOO. Also a bit of herblore. I've calced it that I'll need to hurry it along since my projected route will use up all of my charms. An extra tree run may burn through the time I need for the multipliers required for my goal. I've also got other things to do on the weekend away from RS  I've considered it though. A second tree run would be pretty sweet. Also OT:
  10. I've got 4 magics, 4 palms, and a spirit tree all planted yesterday with payments. If I do things correctly, it'll be about 300k farm XP
  11. It's hard to say whether or not it was actually a rounding system before or if they used a floor/ceiling approach. Either way, now this update only affects your max hit (I think, if that's how strength works. Does strength increase your average overall hits including your max hit [Well in essence raising your max hit would improve your average hit, but...blargh]). You should have an equal chance of hitting a 21 or a 29 if your max is 1005. It's just whether or not that 1005 would have been a 100 or a 101 in the old system.
  12. GoP matches are 10 mins each with about a 2 minute wait between games. You can get roughly 400-600 tokens per game (depending on method/F2P). 4.5ish x 500ish roughly 2.2k tokens per hour. Expect 40-50 talismans per hour.
  13. How far do you think they'll drop? Maybe to the current price of a black mask? (1.2 mil-ish)
  14. So I think it's safe to say that for most high end expensive items, their current drop in market price can be attributed to the vast number of people dumping them in order to get raw materials to train other skills. However, I'd like to know how long these things will keep crashing until the bottom out and start rising again. I'm holding off buying some of the items I've been looking at for a while and seeing if they drop any further. Until when do you think this item crash will continue at the latest? Tomorrow? 2 days from now? 3 days from now? The day of the event? More interestingly enough, the focus sight and hexcrest are also both dropping. Are these solely due to the weekend or has the supply caught up with the demand and can we expect them to fall even after the weekend? I understand it's a little difficult to predict the market, but any relevant input is welcome.
  15. It's a members event that Jagex is implementing this weekend. For the first 10 hours of play starting on Friday (timezones will dictate when exactly for you), you'll get a multiplier for XP starting at 2.7x and quickly decreasing down to 1.1x. After the 10 hours, it stays at 1.1x until the bonus weekend is over. It's not dependent on how long the event has run, but rather how long you've played. Full details on their website
  16. Roughly how quick is bursting/barraging?
  17. Sinkhan replied to Andrews's topic in Help and Advice
no, I made a new acc thats staying f2p Edit: also, should i bother doing any quests? Vampire Slayer gives a nice dose of attack xp You might want to do some other quests to bump your trade up a little bit should you ever need it. Also if you're like me, you could go with a 13 pray PKer and go all out for the lummy ring. This involves doing most quests, including Restless Ghost. The ring is so freaking useful.
  18. 1. Go to Search on Forums 2. Type "alch" into search bar 3. Search titles only 4. Hit Search This should give you a comprehensive list of all the alch topics that have been posted in the past. For the most part, good items to alch have not changed by a huge amount in the past few months and when X item is a huge loss, item Y might not be. Scape-XP also has a "high alch" calculator if you don't like the spreadsheets people have provided here on the forums.
  19. Based on herblore level or farming level? You said herblore and mentioned your farm level. I've seen the little tip that the objective planner gives that says that higher farming level increases yield, but I'm personally a little weary about it. If anything, the average might increase by 1 from the point you can first grow an herb to level 99. I certainly haven't noticed a large difference between level 32 and 81 for ranarrs.
  20. If you plan on hunting dragons, dump enough money such that you can get level 84 herblore in a reasonable time (Greenman's ales are cheap and boost by 1). I imagine that'll suck up a lot prime bonus XP time, so I suggest burning the rest on summoning. Then during the 1.1x time, just put it towards agility. I raised my prayer from 70-75 with 1.8k d bones and then saw the update. I was like "Hot damn, I could have gotten an even higher level". But then I heard that the bonuses don't stack, I didn't feel guilty at all anymore. I'm currently charging ahead for 83 farming, 74 summoning from 62, and then a bit of herblore.
  21. The only monster I can think of are dark wizards, but they have a pretty mediocre drop rate. They're the only monster I remember getting tallies from back in F2P. The best way would probably be to play GOP to get your tallies.
  22. Make sure you buy your materials very soon and get those bars smelted ASAP as well because these will definitely rise right before and during the bonus weekend.

I can only provide limited insight as I don't have the summoning level myself, but I can shed the following: 1. Remember that the money you spend on the shards and pouches is not simply spent and then gone. You can trade them back into bogrog for 70% of the shards you spent or sell them back on the GE. Those granite lobsters are also top notch for fishing. 2. The unicorn stallion is pretty much what everyone takes on any sort of high level job, like boss hunting. A huge stack of swordies in your helmet or a pretty much limitless supply taking up only 1 inventory slot is remarkable.
  24. At the moment, no. The materials will cost around 1625, but the bar sells for 1580. Steel bars lose a lot less right now with only about a 2-3 GP loss per bar. Steel bars slightly better too as you need to bank less often. Magic xp is not dependent on the type of ore you SH, only the smithing xp.
