  1. Well, here I go pissing off the masses. Ok, I've got a very Darwinistic point of view on life. I feel if someone is so mentally unsound as to commit suicide, then they're not "fit to survive" and therefore, removal of their genes from the pool benefit soceity in general. *Casts Stone Skin, Minor Flame Turning, and Mirror Image* [/D&D nerdom] Anyway, that amount of anger put aside there, yeah I know, I sound like a [puncture] but I'm really not, it's just something I feel to be honest and yeah, that doesn't make it any less horrible than the whole ordeal already was. What it SHOULD do however, and is doing is forcing people to adapt. By finding the flaws in things such as Myspace relationships it's forcing the parents and people to rethink and take steps back from such things.
  2. Well Help and Advice is generally for people to come and seek help, and people to offer it. Not for people to offer help and see if people come, if it was for posting help offers it would get insanely packed. Anyway, it's nice of you but really, those who can't alc PROBABLY want as much mage exp as they can squeeze anyway, and will probably save those runes for themselves rather than give you the exp just to alc that addy medium helm sooner.
  3. I've 70 agility and gather my own scales all the time.... 1mil an hour is crazy at the VERY best, if you manage to get in a world without someone grabbing them, you can maybe make about 400k an hour, that's non-stop boring running and gathering. This however is quickly balanced out by trying to sell them, they are PAINFUL at best to sell.
  4. Still 100ea pretty much. Before the update it was hard to empty shops, the price is solely based on the time used having to walk back and forth.
  5. Dusties are horrible if you're looking for steady cash. I've killed thousands, got 1 D chain. Over the time though, I've much more money off monsters like Aberrant Spectres, Blue Dragons, Green Dragons, Iron Dragons, etc, etc.
  6. 1. Farm them 2. Kingdom Management them 3. Kill Abby Spectres, they're far far FAR more frequent and abdunant higher level herb droppers. I do this, buy all my 2nds in bulk and make a good profit.
  7. I honestly look forward to it. I'm sick of the spamming required for selling, and the fact that 60% of RS players are standing around selling stuff all day long, be nice to see people actually playing the game. I'm not argueing with you that there will be an interesting unbalancing at first, it'll be chaos till the market is saturated and prices are set based on supply/demand and not chaotic fillings of the order.
  8. Well, this will without a doubt kill "merching" as you view it now, but bare this in mind. Player 1 sells 1k flax for 100k Player 2 sees this puts his for 95k Player 2 sells his first, yes. But, bareing this in mind, eventually players are going to work up that ladder till they reach the 100k mark. I've played alot of games both with RS's trade system and other trade systems similiar to what I expect RS's is going to turn into. What this is doing to do, is stablize prices, some will cheer some will boo but neither will be impacted greatly in the long run, besides those who really really bust their chops to merch. This WILL haver encourage what I call "Lazy Merching" Those will put everything up alil higher, say 1k flax for 105k Waiting till people buy up all the 100k flax sets and just spring the exta 5k for his. And sit back and do this passively.
  9. When you do find it out, do post it, since there's about 10,000 posts a month asking this very question.... Look, there's no "secret" really. You either skill or merch. You don't wanna merch, then you pick a skill, you get bored and you do it till you either reach your goal or die from repetitive boredom. Or you Pk like I do.
  10. Realize the fact that "avoiding" something set up to discourage you in the first place is a bit well.... arrogant. There is a good reason why Jagex put those tastey abundant dragons out there in the Wilderness. Avoid the wildy or try avoiding our TBs and whips. Profit brings risk.
  11. There's not exactly a sound table out there showing how many of anything you'll do in one hour but..... Take a 1 minute timer. Count how many logs you can cut in 1 minute, then multiple the answer times 60. Voila, you've solved your own problem.
  12. Just go with your rod, bait, and a knife. Catch full load, cut the fish. Cast rod, till your full again, drop your unused bait/fish cutlets and cut the fish again, now cast again and you'll use the roe/cavair as bait. Catch full load, cut, lather rinse, repeat. You never move at all unless spot moves.
  13. I'm going to break alot of PKers hearts with this, here's the most common and effect pk trick. Alot are gold farmers and their English bad, so it's a bit easier. Two friends, 1 Tber, the other don't matter. I'll call the Tber Timmy and the "Baiter" Billy. Timmy and Billy see a target, Timmy then TB's the target and entangles him, and quickly stands on the same square as them, Billy, then attacks Timmy, yes, Timmy, this is why you see most "baiters" with things like flowers, so they can attack Timmy with the flowers and not kill him or hurt him really (So no one takes damage) Timmy while getting attacked says things like 'OMG OWN HIM, FLOWER POWER, KILL HIM WITH FLOWERS" and other lame things. Then, the poor unspecting Dragon Killer, who can't move, panics(usually) due to just standing there and attacks Billy. Timmy, while getting hit with the flowers, leaves his Auto Retal off, so when Dragon Killer attacks Billy, he will do no without the single combat stopping him. Dragon Killer skulls cause Billy never hit him. Timmy and Billy ride the dragon killer all the way home.
  14. Am I the only one who trains on these in Karils and an elemental shield? I mean, I am 99 mage so it may help but I don't find the prayer wasting needed.
  15. I got mine in two nights. Attack, Collector, and healer are fairly easy, Defender is gonna cost ya the most time.
  16. Strength nor attack is "better" than the other. What you need is to get used to PK'ing with what you're better in. You need high attack, enough to KO with, that's something without a double. But, you can either leave it semi-high like you have, with little chance at a whip KO, but a better one for a DDS Ko by stacking two medium-high numbers. Me, I've almost never gotten a DDS KO, I've ran a few combos with really high whip hits, or a Dh swing.
  17. Ok, I've heard two things, and it's a pretty basic question. From this point, stick to red salamanders or switch right to red chimps?
  18. Daggonths don't drop Ranarrs. Anyway, the higher the level, the higher the chance they'll drop a D shield half. I got mine from Jellies.
  19. Forums. When it comes to logs, there's no real place set up in P2P for them. In F2P, yews are bought and sold south west of the west Varrock bank, but, this is "Autoer Alley" and it's very appropriately named. As a warning, Maples are HARD to sell, due to most get them in large amounts doing Kingdom Management.
  20. I really can't offer great methods, but I do this. Buy Avantoe seeds 1k each, plant and grow. 1k seeds yields roughly 6k herbs. (And it's soooo much closer to your Birthday now, maybe even for a second passing.) Now, if you wish to make alil money doing this, I recommend getting your own Mort Myre fungi, but I just buy 1k each. Farming, each herb costs around 150ea (Quick guess, and some die, some don't, very variable) Vials 250ea Fungi 1kea I sell Super Energies for 2k each. Now, problem and where this hits a wall. Selling Super Energies is like selling ice to Eskimos..... Not many need them, and those who do, usually buy 10-20 at the very most.
  21. Best place I found was the demon the top of the wizards tower. Got me from 98-99 mage. \ Course I was fail "Stunning"
  22. Ok, I've recently started meleeing metal dragons. I normally hate this kind of thing, but, on my second trip on irons, I hit d legs, now I'm addicted. My question is though, when going for d legs and such, which dragons are better to melee, iron or bronze?
  23. I'm 60 exp, and tried both. Honestly, I failed enough at Ape Atoll, that I found it to be not worth the hassle, specially since it seems failing there slows you down longer than in the wilderness course. IMO, stick with the wilderness one.
  24. Every 24 hours it'll click down a few points. I just go by once a day, cut some maples, rake some herb patches, or mine a few coal to get it back to 100% BTW, I also think doing the same over and over and over again takes more and more to raises your popularity, seems when I did just maples, it was taking alot more each time.
  25. 1. Listen to music, I prefer to stream stuff. 2. Herbs, grow herbs, check every 2 hours. 3. Browse amazing websites like, Tip it. 4. ???? 5. Profit.
