Alright, just what WC'ing needed, most exp for one of the easiest money makers. And all Mining gets is the granite pit messed over, and no good update in..... well.... not since I've been playing.

I had the same worries, when I went for my blue mask, but, I can say this. The prestige that comes from owning a rare, is well worth the money. Money is best spent on something you enjoy. I enjoy making interesting outfits, and believe me, mask outfits get noticed. Best 25mil I ever spent, I enjoy this outfit, and it gets noticed.

What to wear with cooking and fletching skill capes ?!?!?!?!
Ethiery replied to MugenOkami's topic in Help and Advice
Well, both skills are easy "99ers" hence why he said it was a stupid skill most likely. All I can think about maybe going with the fletching cape.... hmm, well.... um... Maybe, since it's so easy, Jagex made it so tacky colored? I'd try Moonclan. -
I recommend you buy flax, using the Lumbridge castle spinning wheel/bank. Take this, and if you can, fletch your own bows to alc, or, if you cant, sell the bowstrings to ease the cost of buying the bows and nats.

I recommend coal. Go fally east bank, buy all you can 150 each. F2P you'll get -alot- of offers for this, as nubs go for like 120 each and lower. Search forums, find someone buying coal, and offer for 200 each.
-
Grow them. Get the farming level. Plant 1 ranarr. 25k. Yields 5-14. Sell 4, make 3k profit (7k each) and keep the others.

Or, you get into world 2, where people are always doing it.

How many runes for mage book and bones to peaches?
Ethiery replied to superway25's topic in Help and Advice
There are so many methods for doing this, world hopping for d stones for fast enchant points, using food, not using food for the bones one. There is hardly a set number for these. However, if you dig through the player made guides, there's a decent guide for getting Inf. Boots, this should be a good basis for you. -
Both of you.... he's looking to make money, and with 45 mining, coal is not the way to go, so both of you need to stop.

Well, what do you enjoy? I mean, surely there's gotta be something that appeals to you more. Look at my skills, I love mining, love it. 95% of Runescapes players learn to hate mining after level 75 or so, if not sooner. Now, I can easily make more money with my woodcutting, or my runecrafting, or heck, fishing even maybe with monkfish, but.... Mining, despite this, is the most rewarding to me. Now, rather than look for a analysis on what will get you more, maybe take the personal reward of doing something you enjoy as payment. -edit- PS, don't rule out barrows so quick, I know methods to do it and you won't lose a single dime. Or GP even for that matter.
-
So, you want easy money, with little work, or much skill training, and don't like merching..... I can't answer it, but if you find such a method, let everyone know.
-
Not heard about this one, hmmmm
-
I'm sure this has been asked 100,000 times already, but after searching, I could find nothing so.... What's the best way to gather swamp tar? -edit- Gracias. :)
-
No, you'll hate mining, grrr, fear the rune rocks, it's not worth it. Hate, hate, hate. Playing man, take it from a level 86 miner and climbing, stick with it. This skill is one of the most taxing to level, one of the least rewarding financially, but, the most rewarding skill personally you'll ever do. :) P.S. Unless you get good at rune mining like me, then it's a great money maker.

Actually you can safe spot with a salamander, I've tried it, it works very well actually, but requires ancient magicks or entangle, but that's just a pain with the second. With the brother infront of you, freeze with your best freeze spell, now, take 1 step to the left, or the right, so you're at an angle to the brother. This, will keep him from hitting due to the angles, but the salamander will still be able to fire. :)

The safest, fastest, alternative I can think of, is fairy rings. Tele into the unicorn pen in the Ardy zoo, bank in Zanaris. Normally, I'd say west of the Catherby bank, but.... good luck getting that to yourself.

World 66 = all ess back. World 99 = No ess back. World 66 is usually very busy, and if you can get into altar, fast. World 99 not so busy, no one wants to lose their ess, and walk that for for a few laws. World 66 is like, Kelloggs of law running. World 99 is the Malt o' Meal.

Baerek, north of the Varrock fountain.

I really think you're gonna wanna level up more for it. Prayer is fine, melee.... kinda low, but doable. Ahrim is gonna paddle ya, sorry, but you can't out mage him, you're gonna have a horrid time meleeing him, your best shot would be range, and even then, less than 70 is huge pain. Also, since your stats are that low, you don't have any chance of "no praying" it, I don't see you ancienting very successfully, so well, you'll be drinking prayer pots like beer at a frat party.

In my opinion, whatever you want... Seriously, this isn't a "hard" choice, it's like picking a free diamon ring, or emerald ring. (Real ones, not you RS addicts who can't think outside the game) Seriously, invest it in a rare, or spend it for a cape you didn't do diddly squat for besides get as a present for getting an oh-so hard skill cape.

First time, read the skill guides, get a feel for the new doors opened to you. Walk around with little on, get to see a bit of the new areas.

Give a man a fish, feed him that day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for life.

No one's timed it most likely, and has the info off hand, soooooooo, it's time you became a man for the forums! Set a timer for 6 minutes. Start burning. Timer dings, record how many logs you burned. Let's say.... 86 logs. Take the 86 and "86 x 10" it that's "860" logs an hour.

And it's the bolded word that I have much feeling about with eggs. I feel the space in your bank is worth it, keep them. It's like the Shilo gems right now, if you can, go to them and see the freaking craze to mine them in prep for the upcoming update.

Ok, the above picture is my set up. I do recommend you look into all the options first, as with this, I'm "No prayer, Mage Darting" the brothers, and for a first time, or even medium-new barrower, this likely isn't going to be a good way for you to get a handle of them, but I feel this set up gives a good basis for building your own way of doing it. You -must- get 55 slayer in my opinion, the others wastes runes, even the airs lost aren't acceptable. Magic Dart, you can buy around 1k deaths, and minds... well, I've always had a huge amount of minds for some reason, and I've done -alot- of runs and you can pretty much milk those runes for dang near ever.
