The maze random will only stop macros that sense colours and words etc.. It's a piece of cake for a java bot, since the walls and doors would have different ID #s.

Depends what I'm doing, If it's something that requires most of my attention, then I put on some music. Otherwise I'll Scale RS to the left side of the screen and put up WMP on the right side and watch movies or TV eps (22" Widescreen really helps for this :) )

Item Wise, Quite recently.. Got a Draconic Visage, and swapped it for a red mask (still have the mask). Skill wise, getting my first 99 (fletching)

You couldn't trade items in notes. If you wanted bones, bow strings etc. you had to trade them 12 at a time (yes you couldn't even trade a whole inventory at once. Trading large amounts of cash was annoying, you used to get the 5 min rule (log out if standing in the same place for more than 5 mins) just trading 500k).. I bought my First rune battle for 650k worth of steel bar certificates, and my first rune kite for 550k cash. There were no "Do X/Do All" options everything was done one thing at time. Only one person could talk to an NPC at once, so in a crowded bank, it could take several minutes to get a banker to talk to you, Same goes when a new quest came out, trying to talk to the quest NPCs was a pain.

Unless you are incredibly unlucky and never get a Skirt/Legs you will make money.. Steels drop a lot of bloods, so if you are using chaos, the bloods alone will help you pretty much break even.

Autoing never used to be so much of a problem on RSC, when people only botted because the were too lazy to get there skills up, or wanted some easy money to buy a party hat.. I was walking from the Port Sarim Farming patch to falador, and saw about 20 level 3s with similar names clustered around a yew stump.. I LOLed when I saw one of them was a female character (still in the default clothing).

Unfortunately, Construction simply isn't a cheap skill.. Even getting the materials yourself still costs you money, you can mine limestone, but the extra time isn't worth it, especially if you are only going for level 50.

You have 2 options; Expensive option, but much faster: Buy/make 100 or so dueling rings, and 11k normal essence. Teleport between castlewars and al kahrid dueling arena and make fire runes. Slower, make money option. Make cosmic runes via the abyss or in the lost city, you need to make about 10k cosmics. I'd suggest to make nats once you hit 44, but fires are still faster.

I've had the task of 150ish horrors about 6 or 7 times in total, and never gotten one, so they are pretty rare.. As far as stacking bonuses, they DO stack with potions/prayer, but don't stack with the Salve amulet when fighting Undead.

@Eccentric, I am the exact opposite. Example, 1 yew log is worth about the same as 1 law rune on the open market, since I can make a load of law runes MUCH faster than I can cut a full load of yews, I would rather make the laws rather than cut the yews (this is why WC is one of my lowest skills lol), sell the laws and buy yews. Better yet is the time gained burning yews > Maples worth the time lost making the gold to buy.

humm... howe you do that? I use a program called D-System Keyboard remapper, it allows you to have 2 keyboard layouts; Layout 1 is your standard keyboard layout, layout 2 is customised (making your PC think you pressed Esc when you really pressed Del). You can simply toggle between the 2 layouts using scroll lock.

You always need to factor in the relative cost of time, A very good example, sticking with runecrafting is mining essence; you could mine your own essence, therefore not expending any money to make your runes. However, the time it takes you to mine those essence you could have crafted twice as many runes, meaning both XP and profit is higher (if you don't count the mining xp you don't get from buying essence).

Definitely xp, I Would never run nats for no xp, I'd rather craft the nats/laws myself, even if I only get 1 rune per essence, I would rather the XP :)

I've Re-assigned my keys, so that the six keys above the arrows (insert, delete, pg up/down etc) are the more useful tabs.. much more useful than the Function keys.

I do the same with my 22" Widescreen, Runescape and WMplayer fit nicely side by side. I always have an ep of something going :)
