Mischlings

Well, I'm not going to get anything done today. Went to the doctor and discovered that I have bronchitis, and it's causing me to feel like crap. Not sure if I'll manage to get anything done tomorrow, either. Oh well. When I actually get something done, I'll post.

A ton of people in World 2 Falador were offering to buy Warrior Rings for 1.7 million (about the price of a whip), while someone in the whip section was buying a whip for a warrior ring. I traded it to him, but no one who offered to buy warrior rings for 1.7 million would actually buy it. In the end, I sold it for the best price I could get: 470k.

Anyone remember way back when how I lost my whip to a scam? Today, I managed to buy it back, which should help my slayer go a bit faster. Other than that, not much news. No levels yet today.

Congrats on 85 mining! Now go into the wilderness, mine some rune, and get rich!

No good drops that task. I kinda liked killing the dragons; once everything stopped being aggressive, they were actually easy to kill.

Who cares? Cats are awesome! I love cats. Either way, good luck getting 85. As long as you get it before the end of the month. Don't have much time, but it's quite doable.

Forgot to get screenshots, but while killing troll generals, got two granite shield drops. Should I take screenshots of drops, too? I tend to stick just to levels. What do you think?

Congrats on 84! Just a little bit to go. I did the same thing, only I kept it up from 83 to 85. Only took 4 days for that, and by the end, I was glad it was over.

XP after the kill doesn't bring back the feeling of RSC too much, but there's something else I've noticed about slayer that reminds me of RSC: most people who train slayer are nice people. Not all of them, but I've met quite a few who are nice to me. I remember that there seemed to be more nice people in RSC, but slayers seem to be nice too. RSC: I was killing the man by the Duke of Lumbridge, armor consisting of a pitiful iron shield and no body armor. Someone asked me "What are the stats of your shield?" I told him, and he traded me, giving me an anti-dragonfire shield, which had better stats than mine. Afterwards, he said something like "That's better". Slayer: I was ranging bloodvelds, buried a bone, and Leo came. I thought I'd lost some arrows, but as soon as I got back, I got a trade offer. Someone put up about 50 arrows and accepted. I said "Thanks," and the person said "You're welcome. I saw the arrows there and thought I'd wait for you to come back." That's how slayer reminds me of RSC. And sorry for being overly verbose.

Congrats on 83! Just one little thing: Change the title; it still says 82/85.

Decided I'm going to stop power training herblore (too much hassle buying herbs) and use my kingdom to get all the herbs I need. Also going to mine and sell rune until I can't put anymore money in, then I'll go back to slayer.

73% there? Keep going! Gotten sick of powermining yet? I did at around 80, so I came up with something else. You might want to try coming up with something else. Of course, if you haven't gotten sick of it yet, you can keep on going. Don't burn out!

Might be able to get to 58 later today; not sure if I have enough herbs to, but I might be close.

Hurry up and get to 85! Not too far to go. With so many distractions, I doubt you could match my speed from 83 to 85, but keep up the best pace you can. 85 will make you RICH. If for no other reason, keep going for the money. (Only problem might be mining the rune... )

Caught me so off guard I missed the good screenshot. Anyway, I'm going to move on to herblore now. Trying for 63 to make super restores. If you have any irit leaves for sale, I'll buy them for 2k each if I have money at the time. PM me in game or on the forums if you have any to sell. Currently not buying any due to lack of money.

That shouldn't be too difficult; mining is pretty quick if you focus. If you don't, it might be a little slow, but if you do, it won't be too difficult. Just don't give up!

As a slayer, I have a huge excess of fire runes from Fire Giants, pyrefiends, lesser demons, etc. etc. I probably have a few thousand I could spare, the only problem is that I can never find a buyer for them. If you want some, tell me. I'll send them your way.

I know halberds work to cut down food, but if I wanted to use safespots, I'd use range, like I do for hellhounds. Halberd is just too slow for me, although I might bring one for either the specials or the chance that I run out of ammo. I still find my uses for the halberd. Helps quite a bit with the mole and with Fight Caves (I'm too cheap to use ranged as my main weapon (no, I don't have a fire cape yet)).

You should be around 83 slayer. To figure it out, divide the xp needed to get to 99 range by 4 to get the slayer xp you'll gain. Add that to your current slayer xp, and check the tip.it XP table. I did save you all that work by doing it myself, though.

I wasn't sure what I wanted, but there are several tasks that I enjoy, and I happened to get one of them: Fire Giants. 142 to be exact. Looks like tomorrow will see me get 67 slayer and, if I get a good task after Fire Giants, 81 strength.

That's the truth, but my progress is likely to slow down greatly now that I'm going back to school on Monday. I'll still be making progress, though. Finished killing hellhounds (147 and no clue scroll?), then killed 145 Banshees (two red mystic gloves drops and a bunch of herbs and pure ess (those actually are great tasks)), and I'm currently working on killing 112 Trolls (I kill the troll general). ~16k xp to go until 67 slayer. Won't quite get it on this task, but if Chaeldar is nice to me and doesn't give me more metal dragons, I should get it on the next one.

Just 4 more levels to go; what are you going to do with yourself once you get 85 mining? (Other than become filthy rich, that is)
