Mischlings

Also, today I did Horror from the Deep and Haunted Mine. Just need to do Watchtower and I'll have enough quest points to finish Recipe for Disaster. I still haven't finished that Hellhound assignment. Gives me something to do early tomorrow.

Missed the screenshot I wanted, but oh well. Two more levels and then I'll set another skilling goal; not totally sure what it's going to be, but for right now, I'll say it's going to be 63 herblore, which is quite likely. Not sure how much else I'll get done today; going to see a movie at 10:45, so there goes no-lifing it today. Doubt I'll get 67 slayer for another couple days, with school starting again and everything else.

I plan to get there eventually; I don't plan to get all the way there all at once; slayer is too slow and I like skilling too much. Most likely, every couple slayer levels I get I'll go skilling. I'll probably take a break at 68 (random choice, but oh well) and, well, who knows what I'll do after that?

Converted my blog to a slayer blog. Got 79 hitpoints and 79 strength today, but forgot to get screenshots. Should remember to take screenshots in the future.

That's three goals in one week; now I'm going to do slayer, my favorite skill. Will update and redo my blog soon.

Smithing is hard, especially in f2p; you pretty much can't help but lose money while smithing unless you just smelt the bars and sell them. You can buy iron ore 100 each, coal 200 each, and sell the steel bar for 600 each, for a 100 profit each bar. Just about every other method involves too much time or losing money.

I enjoy the game and some of the challenges. I set goals and I'm determined to finish them, which is uncharacteristic for me. I love skilling and combat, and just about everything in the game. In the last week, I've accomplished 85 mining and made the money for full Guthans, but there are still challenges for me. I love this game, and still play it, because I enjoy the challenge.

A miner starting from the beginning? I can't help but post here. 60 mining and 55 smtihing? Why stop there? I wonder what you're going to do after getting those levels, too. If you look at my mining level (85) you'll see that I didn't stop at 60, and think 85 is well worth it, but you should do what you want and go at your own pace. I'll try to remember to post here and be glad to help in any way that I can. It's always a little hard getting on your feet from the beginning.

Finally! Just need to get 76 fishing, and I'm off on a slayer rampage.

If I get the spear, it'll be 3 goals in one week. If two is god-like, what is three? 1518 monkfish left to go. I'll get it sometime tomorrow at this rate, and likely the spear. Once I get that, onto my other goals.

Looks like tomorrow I'll have 76, and Guthans Spear shouldn't be too far off; Friday, most likely.

5 more to go. I haven't been here long, but I love monkfish already. Also, if I can find someone to buy 4k raw monkfish after I finish my goal, I'd be grateful.

I've converted my blog to a fishing blog now, and cut down on the clutter in the first post. Once these plants grow -.- I'll be able to move on closer to my goal.

Good luck on 99s! So close on so many. I can't see myself getting all 99s. At a point, powertraining just becomes unbearable. I still plan on getting some 99s, though. Also, thanks for the support on my blog. It's helped.

Less than 10k xp to go; I should reach 85 later this evening (trying desperately to stay on this side of crazy). Thanks for the support. It's helped me get through this mining madness. 100k+ xp per day isn't possible without motivation.

One last bump before I go to bed; 3700+ iron ore and 132k mining xp. All in all, not too bad of a day.

Congrats on 79! (And you were worried you wouldn't get the screenshot (in case you're wondering why I'm not online, look at my blog)) 53% there? It'll seem easy from here; once you're more than halfway, you know you can do it. I found mining seemed a lot easier once I got to 78. Not much else to say, so I'll stop before I start rambling.
