Another Barrows drop: And a level:

How does it feel to be getting several level ups in a short amount of time now that you're not mining? Your total level will shoot up at this rate. Just keep up the good work.

74/76 Firemaking: Burning up Port Phasmatys
Since I'm unlikely to get much done today (have a huge backlog of homework from being sick), I decided I'd post a picture of the best of my bank for you to look at. The second Veracs Helm is brand new from the barrows, those are all my barrows items, the granite shields and mystic bottom were slayer drops, the key is a crystal key, the blue sword is a blurite sword, next is my collection of Shantay Disclaimers, and last are two crystal seeds I should recharge. Since people like bank pics, I thought I'd post part of one. I'm too lazy to do the entire thing.

Ugh, I don't trust the stews. You need way too much stew to reliably raise anything. Maybe I'm weird because I don't like them. Oh well. To each their own.

74/76 Firemaking: Burning up Port Phasmatys
Well, with the setup on the first page, I get 4-5 runs per inventory, depending on whether or not Karil is the tunnel first run. If you want, I'll give you the whole strategy I use; I'll just warn you, it's expensive, and the chest doesn't usually give back all the runes you use like Slayer Dart does.

Devious Minds is easy; just get 64 smithing and use a Dwarven Stout. The quest is simple, I just didn't like losing the pouch and not being taught how to use the bow-sword. Other than that, simple.

74/76 Firemaking: Burning up Port Phasmatys
This is how I averted near disaster on the last run of my most recent trip. I went on top of Karils tomb, drank super attack and prayer potions, then went down. Tunnel. Great; I just wasted a couple potion doses; they were also my last doses. This is an omen. I went on, killed Ahrim with the prayer, and raced with the melee brothers. I had Dharok redbarred and cast ice burst too early; he came rushing at me, but that cast killed him. Talk about barely surviving. I kill everyone else just fine, then come the tunnels. I've died to Karil here before, so I'm paranoid. He pops up out of nowhere and I try to melee him, but my whip seemed to be broken and just hitting 0s. I switch to magic and try to cast while watching my health. At one point, I'm at 19 health, and Karil has hit 20s on me, so I'm eating like crazy. I go on the offensive again and he finally falls. I heal back up, get my kill count (21+), and open the chest. And what do you know? The Ahrims skirt was from earlier on in that trip.

~Trevor's~ Blog L@@K13 PL0XNESH (Mining & Smithing Mostly)
You posted on my blog, so I decided to check yours out. Since it seems you want to bank the iron ore you get, I recommend the Ardougne/Edgeville method I have in my blog. If you want to use it, be sure to give me credit here. Oh yeah, I have a pretty good way to get ruby rings. It's cheaper than buying from other people and relatively secret, so PM me and I'll tell you. Of course, you could always craft a bunch of them, too.

Sigh... I'm an addict... #45 + #46! ~~Dieded :(!~~
I already beat you :-$ Don't rub it in. I don't know if this is luck or something else. Not 5 minutes ago, I got an ahrims skirt drop. Maybe you're good luck.

Done maybe 5 runs today; that tells me a dry streak is coming soon.

You seem to be floating around without a goal, so the best thing to do is set one and accomplish it, no matter what. Or do stupid things just to have fun. Whatever you do, make sure you have fun on the way.

Your favourite bank?
I'm surprised no one has said this yet: Burgh de Rott. Close to Barrows, allows me to get there without losing any food to the ghasts, and almost always no one there. It's the perfect bank for me.

Congrats on the skirt! Just thought I'd stop by and post on your blog. You're one of the first people who commented on my blog in game, so I thought I'd come and show a little support. Now get a spear drop to match mine.

[hide=Whatever you want the link to say]Whatever you want hidden[/hide] Quite useful. My front page would be huge if I didn't have that to hide all those screenshots. In other news, I sold my spear drop and 500 blood runes from barrows and bought full Veracs and full Karils. Halfway to my goal of all barrows sets.

74/76 Firemaking: Burning up Port Phasmatys
I decided to go barrowing and risk all my wealth; why not? Setup: (Obviously, I use the riskier (but more fun) Ancients method) Drops: It seemed to me like everyone else has had spear drops from the chest; now it's my turn. I'm trying to decide what to do with the spear. I think I'll sell it and buy Veracs. I don't know.

What Is The Most Fun Thing To Do In RuneScape?
I love many things in this game, but currently I'm loving pouring all my money into chaos and death runes, taking 11 million worth of equipment to the barrows, killing the brothers with ancients, and watching my money just disappear. Who cares that I'm losing money? I can always make it back later. This is just pure fun.

Now, on to skilling. I have no idea what I'm going to do and when, but that's half the fun, isn't it?

Can you tell I like mining rune?

74/76 Firemaking: Burning up Port Phasmatys
147 Aberrant Specters, and I officially love those monsters already (this is the first time I've had this task). The last one was the 5th to last kill in the task. I also got so many good herbs and seeds, I needed to bank 4 times throughout the task. I'm still sick, but I'm managing to get more playing time in. Luckily, I think the medicine is starting to work.

74/76 Firemaking: Burning up Port Phasmatys
20 left to go in the task, and two granite shield drops so far (didn't get a screenshot of one). This is paying for the dry streaks I've gone through before. Here's something weird: I've gotten 5 granite shield drops (4 from slayer and 1 from killing the troll general for troll stronghold), and all of them are from that same troll general. I think he's lucky or something; maybe it's just me. At the rate I'm playing, I'll finish the task tomorrow. Just thought I'd keep you updated on my luck so far.

74/76 Firemaking: Burning up Port Phasmatys
Thanks for keeping it bumped, guys. I've gotten in minimal playing time (probably 40 minutes in the last three days), but I got a little bit in. My bronchitis appears to be getting worse, though, so playing time will probably stay minimal. I'll try to keep you updated, and try to get a level in the meantime (not too far from another attack level, but I can't get the motivation to play because of all the coughing and feeling like crap). What was the point of that post? I'm not sure; on too much cough syrup to tell or really care.

Zaaps1's Blog to 91 RuneCrafting 71/91: 14% Done
I have a person on my friends list who kills rune miners and the money doesn't seem to be that good from what he tells me, with all the world hopping and methods people can use to avoid being killed. That doesn't stop them from trying, though. Also, I'd recommend using dragonhide instead of rune armor when mining in the wilderness; magic is more dangerous, as you can simply run from someone using melee.

99 range!!!
If going for very fast, use red chinchompas in the Ape Atoll dungeon (I forget the exact strategy, but someone could probably tell you); costs 700-800 each for the chinchompas, but I believe you can get 200-250k xp/hour there, which I would say is not shabby.

barrow gloves?/
You don't get that xp automatically; once you finish the quest, you can go and talk to one of the gnomes to get it, but you don't need to. Still, it's diffcult to get on a pure, and I don't recommend trying it.
