:shock: If by authority you mean stupidity, and by confidence you mean slowly dying then yes, your right. but dont think you mean that. i cannot believe that people actually think it makes you look cooler. There are so many reasons against it, yet people still think this. It really amazes me. Im just curious, do the packets of cigarrettes have horrible images of defects caused by smoking like the packs do in Australia? Because im amazed that people can look at that whilst smoking, and still not think twice about it. Please, dear God, tell me you didn't just equalize bodily symptoms and one's personal opinion of another. Oh, and no, cigarrette packs look pretty cool, sadly.

Oh, I remember- my best one was when I didn't look at who made a thread with a vid of all the skill cape emotes. I accused the person of using a private server, as there were maybe 3 people at the time that had all the skill capes. You heard it here, I accused yogosun of using a private server to use all the skill cape emotes :-$ .

It takes me 45-55 shots with dart. By your math, I'll go for Slayer Dart. Everyone- stop using profits to try and prove your point. It doesn't matter if you got a Guthans Warspear, you'd still be losing money if Captian is right. Stop all this "but it's worth millions, so it doesn't matter" crap. No matter how much you make, your costs still affect the total profit. By your logic it's okay to use Charged God Spells or Ice Barrage when DK'ing. And if at least half the people here are DK'ers (unlikely), most of you would have the brains to realize that your argument supports your opinion in no way at all. If you want to prove your point, talk about speed Barrowing, or the fact that Slayer Dart actually is more cost effective. This repetitive bs is getting annoying. Fire Runes have to be the most abundant item in this game... Gain a logic level or two. Deaths and minds are worth the same amount, whether you sell them and buy different runes, or re use them later. That argument has nothing to do with whether it is cost effective or not.

:lol: Anyway, in the past I have lost three of my best friends through moving and other things. Best way is to move forward, spend time with outher people. Keep in contact if you like but it dies away eventually. Ya, I've transferred to a lot of different schools and had friends move away, so unless you're friends live really close to you you'll probably lose touch anyways :? . You're going to make new friends and lose old friends as you go through life, so this is isn't going to be a one time thing- wait til you go to college :-$ . About the crush, I professed my love to a crush in 8th grade before I switched schools. Didn't work out too well. Turns out her friend liked me though -.- . So, if you really want to know before you leave, talk to her/him, but there are no guarentees :? .

It's the dissapointments that make the accomplishment that much greater.

Depends what you call "waking up." I've set my alarm clock for 5AM, set it across the room, woken up to it, then later woke up at 6:30 to find myself not only awake, but my alarm clock off (which is a very difficult button to get to) and still on the other side of the room. My body controls me from the time I go to sleep until the time I'm fully awake :-$ . Sometimes I think my body is smarter than me... Now, when I'm fully aware I don't get pissed about seeing the clock, I hate sleep (well, except for the kind of dreams that anyone over 15 should know what I'm talking about...), so more time awake the better :lol: . Also, I have this little trick I do with my alarm clock- I've set it 1 hour and 25 minutes fast. That way, when looking at it at night I have more incentive to go to be earlier, and more urgency to wake up when I don't full realize that I still have more than enough time to go. The 25, instead of 30, makes it harder for my mind to process that the clock is intentionally wrong, so I feel more urgency to get up when I'm half asleep.

That's kind of like how I feel. I don't feel too bad (more bored with my life than sad), but I'm not the kind of guy who smiles all the time either. It's not really a huge problem for me, so why make anyone worry? Dear God, I went to therapy two years ago when I was feeling the most miserable I've ever been, it was so annoying. Turned out that the drugs and advice my psychologist gave me didn't help at all, and I got out of it on my own later after school soccer and first quarter were over (that was some intense amount of work and lack of free time). Though, it is true that my seratonin levels are low :-k .

Well, for one thing, most people here at OT seem to have a 1000+ post count so that may not help as much o_O. Still, I hate the bias I feel towards the guy with the higher post count over the guy with the lower one, though I usually feel a bias more when one person has >500 and the other has <1000, so it doesn't really happen here at OT. And being the dude who hasn't even been here for a year, I feel confident in saying, "What the heck is scapeboard?"

How can we eliminate something we've never had? I get what you're saying though- you're post was a nice elaboration of my overall opinion of what would happen if God came directly in contact with the human race.

The Bible is figurative language. A few loafs of bread and a little fish didn't actually feed 5,000 people; it's just a story with a meaning behind it. Same goes for the other stuff :-$ . Water wasn't turned to wine, Lazarus wasn't actually raised from the dead; they're just stories with a meaning. As for the bolded part, the whole world was basically the Meditteranean (sp?) area at the time lol. Not that far...

Well, that's basically forcing belief on someone. By doing that we wouldn't be making the choice to be with God- we'd simply see the miracle and be forced to believe in God. Where's the faith and trust in that? Astra, I don't see the Christian God as a changing being (though my version of Him does). The Christian God is the same no matter how we view Him, so once we come in direct contact with Him, personally that seems like the end, an infinite, yet unchanging, end. If we are dead, that would basically be going to Heaven, and living with and examining (as you have suggested) the same being in happyness for all of eternity. But if God were to come to earth, then we'd have already done what we seeked to do in death- to be with God. That is where the "life is pointless now" factor comes in. Once we meet Him in life, we'd just want to get our life over with and go back to Him.

I stopped watching the show when the people got annoying and the first place people stopped becoming good singers. That was pretty much after the first season :-$ .

Now this gets complicated since we don't really understand God... but even though He is infinite, we would be striving for God, not other things. We would seek only Him, and ignore everything else. Maybe He is an infinite being, but maybe we're hit with it all at once, and would be with the same God for all eternity... Though, this is where it gets complicated..., if God really is just everything else anyways, then we're already doing that (learning about Him), and God is already with us, so crimson's question would answered anyways. He probably has, and it probably seems unbearably obvious to Him, we're probably just too blind to see it :lol: .

If God were to come to earth, live among us, spend years teaching us, demonstrate power over sickness, nature, the supernatural, and even over death, would that be sufficient? Sadly, if God came to earth and was living with us directly, we would have no reason to live. Knowing God is the end of it all, if God really is the creator of everything (there would be nothing past God). So knowing him within our human lifetime would make it completely pointless to even bother with anything, since we would already know what is the greatest thing in the universe, and have been in direct contact with it, making everything worthless and pointless in comparison. Why strive for something we've already obtained?
