  1. That's awesome. It's like Ninja Gaiden, except with chickens.
  2. Do it on 4chan. I swear to Shiva, I'm petitioning to have that 'emote' destroyed.
  3. Because they are [roosters]...who are fighting? I don't quite see what's wrong with the name there. The word [rooster] has meant rooster for thousands of years in many languages. The reference to one's penis is a fairly recent (like 50 years) invention. :twss: YOU SAID PENIS :twss: Would you mother-[bleep]ing twelve year olds grow up? It's not funny any more. It's not even stupid anymore. It's just enraging. Seriously, I know your balls have yet to drop, but could ya'll at least try and act mature? This is just... damnit, go back to 4chan. Honestly. I don't even know why I'm wasting my breathe. Grow the [bleep] up.
  4. Note that I said God, not Goddess. God ain't a chick, ma'am.
  5. "Eating chicken =/= Abusing it in factory" Without the former there is no latter. To deny their connection is to... well, be something not that smart. No other way to say it mate :| . And I'm confused; I really don't get where the strawman is. You're paraphrasing a point I'm making, and then trying to call a strawman on me. You're basically telling me that I'm making a strawman after making a strawman. God, this is why debate terminology shouldn't be used. Just talk normal, it'll be better for you in the long run. I'm really confused what you're saying here. Are you saying slaughter of an animal isn't abuse of it...? And again, there are alternatives to entertainment instead of watching chickens kill each other. You realize that post equalizes them a fair amount, correct? Isn't that, like, our argument?
  6. Really guys? I think the author is doing a good job finishing up the series. This Pain-apocolypse will most likely end it, save maybe a big fight between Naruto and Sasuke. Man, I miss Itachi though. Best character in the manga, by far. Sasuke's kind of cooler (debatable), but Itachi is in a completely different league of characterization. As for Bleach, I can't really make a coherent train of thought on it so I'll just go bullet it: :I think it's going to end soon too, with this final battle. It's going to be a [cabbage]ty story (as always), but it's going to be saved simply by the coolness of the fighting and dozens of new Bankai releases seen. :The manga has been and always be the true medium. I know that the fluid movements and colors that the anime offers are in many ways cool, but the real story is much too dark and deep for all the bright colors and happy-go-lucky attitudes of the anime. Okay, it's not really that deep, but it's very dark at times (like, hey, these last few chapters). :I'm really frikkin' curious what the hell the Deus Ex Machina is going to be for this whole Ichigo-Ulquiorra fight. I honestly see no logical way around one of the biggest DEM's in literature/film. :I've literally counted about thirty new Shikai's/Bankai's (i.e., different characters' max stages) that have yet to be, and raelly should be, shown. How in God's name they are all going to be seen within a reasonable time frame/number of manga pages is beyond me though. :I know I have something else to say but I can't think of it.
  7. Which is where the whole cultural differences thing comes in.
  8. What are you on? Muscle doesn't even disappear in a year*, let alone a day. And I don't know if it's possible to gain enough fat to cover abs in a day... And, and, Christ, there's actually a third thing wrong with your statement. Muscle takes about a day to repair. Skipping a day is good for you. And, in my opinion, doing only sit ups for abs is like doing only push ups for upper body. It can only get you so far before it really becomes worthless and you have to step it up. *If you're past your natural strength it might shrink at a faster rate due to wasted energy being used on the extra weight from the muscles, but apart from that... no. THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS. God, why are people asking nerds for weightlifting advice? Ha, I'm the opposite. My stomach muscles at the beginning of the year were actually so far ahead of the rest of my body that I had to stop working them out for months while I balanced out. Anyways, nice improvements.
  9. So you're a vegeterian?
  10. Zierro, stop debating semantics, stop strawmanning, and stop spewing out [cabbage]ty arguments. Christ man. You're comparing babies to chickens. You're saying that eating a chicken has nothing to do with abusing it. Stop with this bs.
  11. The question "how to I get muscly?" isn't tough one to answer. The tough part is sticking with it. With proper diet. And spending three+times a week at the gym. For years. YEARS. Note: If you say you have hard abs at fourteen but have a fair amount of fat over it, I don't know why you're asking for advice. Unless of course your "hard abs" really aren't worth mentioning mate. And don't stress out so much about your height, it doesn't matter as much as you think it does (at least not in college in later years). And besides, I'm assuming your father is of at least average height, so you're going to grow. You're fourteen mate.
  12. Never talk about religion with anyone (irl). Matters will not end well. You have an opinion that, sadly, I must admit I once held, but it's a juvenile one, and I hope you grow out of it. Somewhat. Sometimes people are religious for the wrong reasons, but that's no reason to make a prejudiced, unjust statement like the one you're makin' right now.
  13. And it is a sign of arrogance to completely discount an idea as beneath you. When something is unknown, there is an infinite number of possibilities to explain the thing's nature. None of them can be disregarded, and all must be acknowledged as equally wrong until evidence is presented. Don't discount anything until the moment of truth--the moment when you die. Mathematically speaking, an infinite numer of possibilities results in a probability of 0% for all of them. And Occam's Razor. Not that I like the little atheist's attitude (grow up munchkin).
  14. You've never... met? Does that even qualify as a relationship? I mean, I love Sumpta to death (an obviously mutual feeling), but I don't think you could say there's a relationship there.
  15. Haha. Understand girls. What the [bleep] you talkin bout, willis.
  16. Wooow boys, out of the way. This guy has talked to FOUR GIRLS in a SINGLE DAY. Bow mortals.
  17. :twss: You know when your having a group conversation and out of the blue someone says a really bad joke, and as a result all conversation stops and everyone just stares at the person who said it? Were all doing that right now, you just can't see us.

I don't think I've ever seen a girl do legit upper body training at the gym, and I go three times a week. doom, are you the antichrist? lol, nice catch. I guess I was thinkin' only of traditional crunches and forgot the variants had the word "crunch" in them  . And I guess it just depends on the variant of crunch. Some I think I can do 200 of, other I don't think I'd make it past 50.

I wouldn't mention your mom's plan to him if she isn't willing to tell him yet. Really, all there is to it is to find a way to get your dad to get over the drinking. It's a bad habit, and he DOES need to get over it. Take all of this with a grain of salt though, this is a heavy topic and I really am not qualified to be a good source; this is just a friendly opinion.

Let's see, how many things are wrong with your idea... 1) Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't isolate so much; if you just do curls, you're going to end up with biceps. And nothing but biceps. You'll look [developmentally delayed]ed and disfigured if you keep with that, and you won't have the proper muscle balance to use your biceps, or body for that matter, properly. But I have to admit, if you can do eight legit sets of 25 with 25 pound dumbells (back straight, arms all the way down and back up), you've got to be pretty ripped, at least in the arm sector anyways. 2) Push ups... they're not bad, but I've found them to be pretty inefficient. Try things like bench, military press, squat, (hanging) dips, etc. Go to the gym, use the weights, and again, avoid doing isolation exercises too much. 3) I my opinion, sit ups and crunches suck. Hate to mention my body (I HATE when members do that, "I have supar muscles (not that you can see them) so I know everything"), but I didn't get a six pack (not of beer)/obliques on crunches. I got it on hanging leg lifts and other real ab exercises, like these. If you are really desperate for proof that my opinion might mean something, don't be. I really don't care to post a pic, and that site's self-explanatory. Hypocrisy, I know. Regardless, use those exercises on that site for abs, period. But again, as with the curls, if you can do 4 straight sets of 50 legit crunches, I'm fairly impressed. Then again, I remember the last time I talked about weightlifting on this thread I was debating with some guy who said he could do forty-five pull-ups straight through, so my believe-o-meter about this kind of stuff is low. 4) A mile a day is okay, but for a decent runner that's only six minutes of running (and shouldn't even tire you out that much). Either do more or train with a team that has a coach that really pushes your limit. That's how you really build endurance. Q: Are you a chick? I can't remember.
  21. We all get that ya''ll are a pack of book smarts. We just want ya'll to stop talking about your only good quality. Damnit. If you're right (which I'm iffy about, no offense), I'm going to be ticked. Asian?
  22. They've shifted from getting a good education, getting a good job, getting married, etc. to getting laid as much as possible -.- Ha. Teenage naysayers have such an immature view of the world.
