Pretty much the same way I came to get the name "Rebdragon17". I don't mind the numbers though, IMO its a good sign that this is my first account, and people can recognize that just from reading my name. It'd be nice not to have the numbers, but I don't have any big problem with them :) .

Playing since November '04. I've taken a few extended breaks, so its basically been a little more then a year. I'm Combat 94, with a 1337 skill total (serious). My net worth? I wouldn't be surprised if it broke 100mil, but I'm too lazy to count it all :lol: .

:shock: Zero0hero? I know him! We used to go Dagganoth King Hunting together :) His 99 Range always p00ned Prime. I have yet to try and get a Fire Cape, but I think I have the stats and gear to do it :D .

Those are the items I'm guessing you can afford, seeing as how you need to ask this question. Seriously guys, if he has no idea what the good Mage stuff is, what makes you think he's going to be able to just throw away 20mil for all that junk? This is a much cheaper set up, and its actually not too far from the stats of the other given set ups. Just go with this.

Dear lord, not another one of these threads... NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE can tell you the best way to make money for you. Obviously merchanting is the best cash, but for some people it is boring (sitting at the comp selling and buying pixels for hours upon hours a day, standing in one spot? How can someone not have anything better to do then that?), and some people, like me, just absolutely hate the smell of merchanters. Personally I prefer Barrows, Dagganoth Kings, Metal Dragons, and occasional Fire Giants for cash. You know why? 'Cause I like to do them, I have the skills for them, and they're some of the few exciting things that exist in this game. I get bored with skills and other things, so thats what I do. Find something YOU like to do, and stick with it.

Really? I've burned about 15k Chaos runes there and havn't even goten one drop with my ROW. Also, I've goten 4k kills at the FG's with a ROW and no luck. I've officially abandoned that cursed object, may it burn forever within the deepest pits of Mordor.

I don't even want to think about that. I'd get as much information as possible about this guy (phone #, e-mail, etc) and tell him how pathetic what he is doing is. 'Cause he's gota realize how much of a loser he's turning himself into. And lol, not only does he have the rank wrong but your age as well, I've met 3 year olds that can count better then him :lol: .

But they are right, such a small sample size for this test can yeild a significant percentage of error, but I'm hoping that we can get a basic idea of how much Kill count helps one's odds, if at all (I'm still not fully convinced that it increases one's luck at the Barrows, but that what we have these tests for :P ).

Lucky S.O.B. :P (especially all that Guthans gear :shock:) Does every volunteer have their data compiled already? I'd like to see how this test turned out :D (even though the smallish sample size won't grant us 'perfect' results).

Get the Mage's Book ASAP :P (I got mine the week it came out :D ). The experience there is awesome (went from 79 to 81 Mage at the MTA), the +15 Mage stats are completely unrivaled, and its extremely fashionable for any good Mage. Hellz ya, its extremely cheap (IMO, less then 2gp per 1exp), and you can get like 100k exp an hour. Personally I prefer a variety when training Magic, so it doesn't get boring. So I do: Barrows- 3k+exp a trip, Metal Dragons- insane, easy exp, though I've used 15k chaos there and only got junk :cry: , Enchant Arena (or Mage Arena in general)-good experience, and the gear is sweet, Alching- Fast and free, but it gets boring. Not one of my fav choices, especially after almost commiting suicide after alching from 82 to 85, Castle Wars- Get on a crowded world, bring a few thousand bursts (Barrows is a good way to get these runes for free), and let the fun begin :twisted: .

Aargh, missed yet another Tip.it event thanks to an out of town Soccer Tourny (fine Brits, "football"). First it was the huge Tip.it drop party (at which I donated 600k and then found out couldn't even frikin' make it), and now this. I'm sorry everyone I wasn't there to embaress all of you pathetic Draughts players in an onslaught of endless victories. :x

Did you really need to say that? I don't see any need for you to take a random shot like that at him. You just completely contradicted yourself there. And a side-note: I would shoot 6 bullets in my head before I EVER go down there with a Mage whos Magic level is under 75. Just say they should have 75-80+ Mage, and recomend Slayer dart. I'm also not really a fan of your suggested Mage inventory. I bring a super defense like you, have 74 defense (which isn't exactly that far off 80), bring Torag armor, compared to your Rune (also bad Idea, Rune armor has the worst Mage attack bonus in the game) but I still prefer to have more a few more sharks, or maybe an equal amount, to Prayer pots. Those rangers hit pretty hard ya know :? . Love you Dragon Halberd suggestion though; it'd be pretty useful against em 8) . Btw, I do prefer Odd's guide over this. His goes in depth much more, and his data and suggestions tend to agree with me. Your guide on the other hand, seems a little short for such a dangerous place. And- Just sayin'

I use a Karils bow too, it tears right through him 8) . But I don't pray, even though he can hit fairly hard. -When I wear melee armor and mage Guthan and Torag they hit me maybe once or twice max (with only 74 defense lol), but when I range Ahrim in Full Karils w/Xbow, he hits 10x harder then Torag and Guthan combined, even though I have 87 Mage (not high but it should provide some better defense...) and some of the best Mage defense armor in the game on. And whats weird is sometimes he never hits me the whole fight, and he next fight its 20 after 20 after 20 :? . As for Karil I mage him with Slayer Dart and Prayer, as I'm too weak to melee him (74 atk, 77 str) and he annihilates my defense lvl with the steroids Jadex gave him.

Nope, no chess, but I've heard some rumors of a chess game being added there. Runelink is ok (never been a fan of it), Draughts rocks, but Runesquares and Runeversi are COMPLETELY about luck (unless you're an insanely genius person with an IQ of 200 and you can finish a Rubix Cube in under a minute). Just stick to Draughts and Runelink; don't bother with the other games. And as everyone has said, how in the hell are we going to do a Karaoke? Sure, I can understand the Comedy show (bet it'll be hilarious :lol: ), but singing? by typing? :?

Ingenious insult there :lol: . i bet you any money at least 25% of people that runescape don't have fun, and regard it as more of a 'chore'. :wink: I'm guessing its more like 90+%. I'm estimating those figures mainly because Runescape has become a game in which players play to build up skills and make their character the best (no matter how boring, seeing as how nearly everything except DK's, KQ, and Barrows [and maybe Metal Dragons, eh] is mindless clicking. Thats why those are the only things I really do 8) ). And no one give me any bull about how exciting you think the game is, 'cause you're just kidding yourself.
