i generally only collect practical items such as: 180k nats 180k bs 180k yews 50k chinchompas but i did once have a small stuffed mnonkey collection (around 50) and a small monkey collection (around 100 from mm)

Downfall -yes.. it is a slippery slope.. the downfall must start somewhere.. it is the catalyst that will culminate in the "change" aka downfall, of what RS is now. Once it changes - it can never go back. So yes.. downfall. Technically all downfalls start when things begin. Everything that begins must end.

naaa its just luck and mining lvl. Sometimes lower levels get lucky and naturally people strive for a rational answer. People with higher mining have better odds of mining an ore in shorter time-people with low mining have more chance of taking longer. On games things can be effected purely randomly, creating luck. The same with calculators. So games=calculators.

When considering skills which can be bought, the time it takes to gather the materials is also a factor. That time also varies from person to person (and even day by day, like if the person just got lucky). Might be best to seperate the two. true there wil always be the random luck element affecting speed which xp may be directly or indirectly gained.

ive had extreme unluck... was getting pouches on one of the first days of the abyss and i see a whip (10m at the time), glory (100k att) and other various expennsive items. i run towards and computer freezes. Nad it sound as if i made the whole thing up but grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr i was anoyed i could have had more money than id ever had if it wasnt for this stupid computer. I think ill stop typing here before my extreme anger comes surging back to me from tramuatic memories. Everyone thought i was lying. naa least admirable must be in order: strength cooking fletch (ive even got this) attack defence and from then on i cant decide. maybe smithing and fming cos they can be both bought? but then again son can construct but that requnires serious money, those other too are laughable amounts of money.

well i think i started killing goblins but didnt know why to change attack style so got an amazing attack 10 and 5 def. Then i made a mighty trek north and discovered the wonderful varrock mines where i mined and mined then lummy smelted and smithed to around 40 mining! and about 30 smithing which seemed incredible at the time. THese were the first few days of playing anyway. Learnt what the wilderness was and did rune mysteries with a friend. WOW

:s me too, its kinda worrying nand makes me think that kbase is even more of a waste of Jagexs time.

safing is fine a good pker should be able to kill a safer anyway, its the bad ones that complain becos they cant take hp faster than the other person can eat and run. A simple freeze or bdin stops the run and damages and dds/ mage short special deals the damage more than anyone can eat. Common knowledge if u ask me that safing isnt as much as an advantage as it seems.

im an rcer (150k+ abyss nats) and i have never rc pked. I find that people who find themselves killed by rc pkers aren't paying enough attention/ do not have the right defensive items/skills/measures to even be rcing in the first place, the preapred ones like me always stay alive. I leave myself exposed to pks for very brief periods (the time inbetween benig attacked by skeletons and going to the mage) and have full defensive d hide gear on even if my cb stats arent that great. As i go by i talk to the pkers under protection of skeleton and occassionally show them my hunt emote, they aren't too bad people. Besides, without them nat prices would plummet- no risk = no reward. The more reasons we have to edsadurate the risk, the more we get payed and ni can barely call the abyssal monsters risks. Rc Pkers occassionally manage to take 100k or so of our stuff but we should thank them for increasing our profits. It is not dishnonourable to pk rcers because the wilderness is meant to be a place of risk and it is for pkers, lurers, rc pkers, rcers and alike- pkers being the top of the food chain (other than clans). just like rcers, rc pkers risk their furry buttocks to make afew gp in the rcer- rc pker profit relationship: rc pker increases rcer profits. rcer spends extra profits on glories for example. rcer loses glories to rc pker and they have nboth made more money than they would have done without each other.

Thats one of the thigns i most hate about WoW-no day to day risk. I wouldn't go in the wildy or duel arena or anywhere if i couldnt win or lose. THat would be the thing which ends the game completely before 5 or 2 years or whatever. Runescape 3 i think would work if it was the sme thing better graphics and interface but other than that i woulndnt want dramatic changes in the game. Runescape will go on for aslong as there are people willing to play it which from nlooks of thing will be more than 5 years-in my case anyway.

Woot HUNTING is mentoied in best achieved capes and craft also which i quite fancy.

lol im sorry but that made me think you had a stroke or something and their by paralyzing your arm. and i just imagine some1 trying to hurl their body @ the computer screen so that the arm lands remotely close to the key board to type out 100 words if that. im sorry but the laziness of the world amazes me. if your computer chair has an arm rest i dont see any need to complain about comfort. its not a bed of nails. i do things when people act intelligent or more specifically ask nicely. also, certain combat lvls get my attetion/respect to provide for them 116+ ill feel they are my equal and actually talk to them. anything lower, just sadly does not gain my attention to care/listen unless you are 50-79 80-115 are just people whom i could not honestly care if they were their or getting ran over by a submarine. not that id wish that on any1. agreed but why just the 116+'s get your respect? i'm 90 and have higher total than alot of 116+ that i have met... do i really have to wear my hunt cape or speak with mod crown to get my respect? I think give all people respect until they prove they don't deserve it-whether that be their first word or several months of talking... Don't completely rule the low levels from the picture-agreed they may not appear to be much but rememebr a lvl 3 could pull out phat sets and could whnip out about 18 skill capes. Ive been 2 or so years of having constant nooby questions but you should nt let it get at you, its ust one of those things that can be done at no expense. Laziness in the world ,yes-prejudice, no.

I dont particularly support luring but people who allow themselves to be exploited are always going to be exploited. People who are lured deserve to get lured and people who lure deserve to be reported-simple as.

i can't stand balance-its so average. For example pures often slaughter main accounts because of the mains have their defence balanced unsuitabley to their attacking skills. Im impressed when i see someone that defies guthix's balance and has 3 combat and ten 99 skills (but not with low skills and high cb, they irritate me). According to you and guthix you are perfect at the beggining of tutorial island and will probably only reach perfection at 200 mil xp for each skill. I find that 99ing one skill then aother nis far more efficient than abit of this and that-that requires too many equipment/ mind changes so wastes many hours at the bank I am generally self sufficient but but it does not stop me having unbalanced skills. Overall good article just not my veiw on balance. If the world was balanced and everyone was equal-what would we come to?

im a mod and i agree completely. Mods are meant to be nice so when someone sez they get lured and/or ask if its a scam i just say yes it is, mainly to keep the game going... we just have to catch them b4 they manage to lure someone-thats the fun i get as a mod. Yes i do report lurers but still if ur 'less intelletcual' enough to be tricked cmon, ur asking for it. and luring infort of a mod, cmon ur asking for it. JUst like Durial they do their actions at their own risk-slight bravery which deserves the occassional bit of respect, they are people making a living of other people-its what people do best. I say they are REPORTABLE but RESPECTABLE even if not HONOURABLE. PS i do not lure and never have done.
