  1. Sooooooo, that makes brews useless. How does it make ovls useless? K, makes em less useful since you can't combo them with brews as well, but you've still got every extreme potion in one inventory spot and it keeps the boost at max for 5 minutes. Still sounds like ovls are useful to me.
  2. Umm ya technically RS gold is intangible, but that doesn't mean it has no value. What, exactly, is your point?
  3. The idea behind using extremes to train herblore is that you're going to want them sooner or later. So rather then level herb with potions that have resale value, and at a later date make extremes and then overloads for your own personal use, you just train with extremes. Also, overloads > bandos. Overloads should help you more then bandos does.
  4. Do I get a prize for getting the film reference? What's the reference to >_< Also, hopefully Zammy GW will die down soon, because I'd like to get those robes. (Is sad because this probably won't happen.)
  5. Not necessarily, no. If I go to a supermarket, but I have to buy Pepsi because they're out of stock on Sprite, does it imply I'm unsatisfied with Pepsi? Sometimes, but definitely not always. It's possible to desire B and still be satisfied with A in the absence of B. In fact, interestingly enough, the Wikipedia article on masturbation (which I won't link to here for obvious family-friendly reasons--the article contains nude photographs of genitalia--but is related to fantasising since people tend to do it whilst doing the other) contains links to no less than four studies to reference a claim that women and gay men in relationships tend to masturbate more. I can't vouch that that conclusion hasn't been cherry picked, and I don't have access to the Cochrane Collection to check, but assuming good faith, doesn't this force you to at least rethink your quoted theory in the light of new information? You have to concede at least one of two things. 1) That fantasising itself may not necessarily be indicative of dissatisfaction, just that we might like to experience something else at least temporarily or without any consequence or distress to ourselves or others, or; 2) Having a sexual partner is actually the cause of said dissatisfaction. At the very very least, you can't argue against the stark reality that some guys and some girls do go for years without having sex with their other halves, and manage quite capably, even if they may or may not be fantasising about other people in the meantime. My theory was that maybe they're masturbating more because, being in a relationship, sex is more on their mind then when they are single? Sooo, we've basically proved that these studies have no obvious conclusion?
  6. Granted. Civilization collapses and the 5 people left who go on the internet subscribe to you. I wish I was a wizard.
  7. So, we haven't really come to a conclusion about sex. I'd say the important thing is that both people in a relationship understand and willingly ( as opposed to grudgingly) agree with whatever sexual "terms*" there are. In the case with Noxx, it's obvious that Noxx doesn't understand the sexual terms of the relationship and there's a fairly good chance she doesn't either. Also, it seems obvious this girl is also sending mixed messages. *I can't think of a better term, then, er, term.
  8. The thing you're not understanding is that when we were in the same situation the times before and i would try something, she would always tell me no, or stop, or wait i'm not ready. So clearly she didn't want it then, how was i supposed to know she wanted it this time? Because everytime she lets the opurtunity in, it's an OPURTUNITY. She's wrestling with herself a bit, but she expects you to push her over the edge. She doesn't like it when you don't. We are men, we are expected to be "foreceful" and persuasive. She wouldn't keep entering the same situation if she didn't want anything to happen with it. Maybe not the first time, maybe not the second time [hell you don't go off the diving board when you first start swimming do you? No you [bleep]ing pinky toe that shit until you like the water] but after a few trial runs you bet your ass she's good to go. She wants you to fight for her, to validate her. Which I find super unattractive and uncool. BUT it makes it super easy to get in her pants with a little effort. And that's all she really wants in the end. A little effort. I'll conclude my post in saying this: a healthy romantic relationship requires sex. Consistently, even if not frequently. I'd like this girl to look at that little comedy bit muggi posted, and point out that this sort of attitude encourages men to be rapists. Personally, I'm all for a girl that wants the man to be forceful and persuasive, but she would need to TELL me, as opposed to (let me attempt to quote a bit of that comedy bit) "rape her on the off-chance she likes it." As for the sex asap idea, it's something that can work, but isn't for everyone. Remember: sex is an important part of any relationship (assuming they aren't asexual) and a lack of sex in a relationship will eventually cause problems. Imo, there's nothing wrong with waiting for sex if that's what both people want, but you have to make sure both people want that, rather then the other person just agreeing with it. And there will come a time when you will have to have sex or the relationship WILL be in trouble. (Again, under the assumption that the couple isn't asexual.)
  9. Imo, an instanced GW is a hell of a lot better then what we currently have. It's not ideal, but it would probably be relatively easy to implement and would be a definite improvement. (I'm also not against the price of it dropping.) Things I can think of when designing an instanced version of God Wars: - How would teams work? Are they in a clan chat? Does Lootshare have to factor in to this? What about casuals that spontaneously want to form a group? - How would death work? Does the dead player stand a chance to rejoin the same instance? (I can see a lot of pain here.) - How long would it take to implement? Who would benefit the most from it? What's the return on investment for this development? - Would a shared-instance world be more suitable to this, to allow for more flexible spontaneous teams? - How would kill count work? (I believe it's reduced to 10 after/during EoC.) Would you be in an instanced variant of the boss's anteroom? Would you be able to gather killcount uninterrupted from players? Mountain of technical questions here, my friend. Death, especially, would be the largest sticking point. Notwithstanding a few low to moderate technical hurdles, of course. This took less then 5 minutes to think up: Most of GW is the same. However, there is a double door to get to the boss - first requires KC, second door is there just so that you have a little safe area for forming parities and such, in a similar fashion to DG. This is also where gravestones would appear. Kill count would remain the same. Players who died would have an option to return to their instance after trying to pass through the second door into the boss chamber as long as at least one player is there, assuming that this can be programmed with relative ease. How long to implement: Not too too long, seeing as pretty much everything here is something that is already in the game. Who would benefit? Lots of players. Anyone who would like to do GW but can't because it's always crowded. Return on the investment - make players happy. No idea if a shared-instance world would be more suitable. However, if the benefit of a shared-instanced world is more flexible teams, I'm leaning towards no, because doing team activities with randoms usually causes headaches. The few questions I don't have answers for, I'd expect actual Jagex employees to be able to answer with relative ease. They could implement something to track how crowded GW is to see if this is a good idea, maybe poll players or something, and they have more technical information then I do. To the best of my limited understanding this is something that would be highly valued by many players and would not be too difficult to implement. However, it goes without saying that I'm not a Jagex mod and there's a lot of things about this that I'm in the dark about.
  10. I lick the wall vigorously. 54 HP.

  12. It is official. Squab has had a sex change. Wait, free and unlimited sex changes aren't on the harpie health plan? Now excuse me while I go play Legos FOR MONEY.
  13. I agree with this 100%, and basically said this, or at least tried to say this, in some of my earlier posts.
