Except it's "high level" because it was made 5 years ago when the amount of maxed players was a fraction of what it is today, not because it's challenging. There's a difference between outdated and difficult. How does it matter that it's not challenging? You need to be a high level to do it effectively. So just train you stats like everything else. Stop feeling entitled. But mid level players can do it just fine if they didn't have to out-compete high level players. That's the issue. High level players have the ability to lock mid level players out (instead of simply doing higher level content like nex etc) Thank you. One of the problems with RS is there are more levels then Jagex knows what to do with. I mean, RS has been out for 10 years and there are currently no weapons/armour in the live game that require even 80 in a skill. GW is rather outdated in the sense that it was made before non tradeable potions, summoning and curses. Also, a good way to judge how accessible something is to players is how easy it is for a DYI character to acquire it. (Assume that for bosses that require multiple players, the DIY player is actually a team of them that share drops.) Also, I don't see a problem with armour devaluation. I don't see why it should be nigh impossible to afford weapons/armour you can technically use until several levels later. -

Get a machamp and teach him attract. His sexy muscles will have that miltank swooning.I don't care if attract isn't in his movepool. Out of curiosity, is the machop cycle a 100% male species? It's damn ODD if some of them are female. On the other hand, this IS japan. -
Hulk grabs the shield and throws it away, then punches the wall. 52hp.

Wow, I feel like I've said that before. As for the fact that they aren't straight out selling exp, who cares. It's a bloodly loophole is all it is.

Jagex: Thinking of Gambling Alternatives?

What I hope they do is make flowers show as red to other players, but stay colored to the owner, because I do like all the choices :) Naw, they should just make them come down in an exact pattern. As for it being fake, I think the fact that what kimberly said makes sense. It's been here for 3 days, the last thing had j mod confirmation that it was false in less time then that. -

You are 41.7% Good. You are 2.6% Lawful. Alignment: Neutral Good You do the best good that a person could be expected to do. You are devoted to helping others. You are willing to work with authority figures, but you do not feel any particular allegiance to them. You are the stereotypical “Benefactor.” You believe in doing good without any particular bias for or against order. Examples of charactersand people who fit into the same alignment as you include Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Gandalf, Indiana Jones, O-Bi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Harry Potter, Frodo Baggins, and the Dalai Lama. Hmm. I don't appear neutral enough. Still, Gandalf, Idiana Jones, O-Bi-Wan, Skywalker, Frodo, all cool peoples to be. Then again, I suspect most alignments have cool peoples. Also, that sucks Lokie =/ -
I'd rather see PVP stick to stuff like the crucible. In theory, it seems like an almost, if not entirely perfect system. Keep PVP away from players who don't like PVP and in places the crucible or clan wars, place where there's only pvp and nothing else. I think RS might be the only game that puts non-PVP elements in PVP areas without offering those same non-PVP elements in non-PVP areas. It's hard to articulate, but like... people who want to do non-PVP activities will have to go into PVP areas to complete those activities, or not be able to complete them. (Penguins, clues.) Pretty much every other game, (assuming it's a semi-PVP game) you can always choose non-PVP servers. I'm not sure if I articulated this well, but I hope you get what I mean.

It would have to be one hell of a quest to smoothly remove the runes from the culture of man in this Age as well as their dependency on them - and then whatever miraculous change that is would have to be a world-wide event that would suddenly allow the human race to work magic without runes. I personally don't think it can be done, or will be done, within our "play-lifetimes." There's no real point. Such a revolutionary change would be the start of a new Age, and we're already lining up one to start with the climax of re-emerged Elder Gods etc. We can already infuse staves with the power of runes, and we can already infuse items with runes, why not infuse staves with spells? I know we're off-topic here, but I can see it feasible and not game-breaking at all to restructure RCing into an enchanting skill, then incorporate staff-imbuing into it. Extra spells not covered by the staff could be covered by tablets instead. Honestly, now that regular combat only needs elemental runes, we aren't that far off. Get a wand of air and a fire tome and you're good. Or a smoke staff for 2h. It REALLY isn't much of a stretch on what we currently have now. Not in the slightest. As for ancients, that's a little harder, but on the other hand ancients is powerful enough that requiring runes isn't that bad.

Why is this not dead >_< PC is generally more expensive, takes more knowledge, offers an overall better gaming experience. Run games at higher quality. Consoles are better in general for those who don't want to get as involved. They are simpler. No need to worry about specs. Both have exclusives. Hardcore gamers will probably have a console and a PC. Their answer to exclusives is multiple systems. OP started this as a rant against people saying PC > console in a 360 vs ps3 thread. His earlier posts came across as saying console > pc, perhaps unintentionally. OP is in denial of this. PC people, if you claim you can actually build a custom PC for cheap, remember that a lot of people don't have the knowledge on how to build a PC and don't want to spend the time learning how to. Alienware is practically a testament to people being too lazy to figure out how to build a custom PC.

"I've been with my new girlfriend for a few weeks, and I'm struggling to find a way to break it to her that I want to ___. How can I bring this up in the least awkward manner?" Doesn't sound like a failing relationship to me. I wasn't trying to imply that all questions about a current relationship come from a falling relationship. I was saying most probably are. Also, I did not ever realize that muggi. Holy shit.

They need to get rid of that necklace BS and just straight up unlock surge spells on Lunars once you do Livid Farm enough. As for the magic runes discussion, one of the things I really like about the beta is making a lot of the spells cheaper so that newb players or non-rich players can train magic. I mean, at lvl 60 you buy a dragon weapon for 100k, which you can later sell. How far does 100k worth of magic runes get you? Also makes me wonder if they'll release a smoke staff or something. Air + other elemental staff, making magic free to cast. Also wonder about range. Range ammunition will be a lot more expensive then magic ammunition now I suspect. Especially at higher levels.

The English language really needs more words for love. If I say I like my best friend I sound gay. Am I supposed to dislike my best friend then? In response to other stuff... yeah, people com here for relationship advice. If a person is coming seeking relationship advice for their relationship, chances are it means it's failing. Plus, a lot of the time people aren't actually asking for advice, they're asking for people to basically like back them up. Confirm that, yeah, you're making the right decision. As for people ignoring advice, well, change is hard. It's easier to stick to that same old routine of dating someone who you aren't really happy with, who you should probably break up with, as opposed to start the (probably messy) breakup and change your life a lot. Plus, suddenly you've got to go out and meet new people to form relationships with. Isn't easy and people like taking the easy way out. Blarg. Tired. Sorry if this doesn't make sense.
