  1. Did you forget it like? Looks really good though, reminds me of when I did the Duke Of Edinburgh award here when at school. Really good memories from that and it started my interest in hillwalking.

Oh yeah I'll be there for them because I still think they are good people and friends. But I don't know if I'll fully understand what they are going through because I never get any lows or highs like you describe, if you know what I mean, so it's difficult to support them fully.

Please butt out if you have nothing constructive to say on the subject please. on topic.. I have my own views on 'depression', probably because the fact that I've never met anyone who I think has had proper depression or never experienced it. The past month has seen two of my close friends been signed off work for 2 weeks, each time, because of depression. What gets me is that they get basically a fully paid holiday, while we are working our [wagon] off, for most times a worst paycheck at the end of the week. Someone please tell me how to become depressed so that I can do it too please, as I've never actually been like that.
  4. :-w - waits for the deluge of requests for pointless polls by random people -
  5. From my trip to the Pyrenees in October. Loved the places we stayed at, definitely one of the highlights of the year. Me on the left, sister in the middle and her fianc̮̩̉̉ on the right (they are in Chile at the moment now) [hide] [/hide]
  6. When it happens to me I usually force myself to get up early - say 8/9am and force myself to stay up to a certain time. Don't go to bed till like 10/11pm. Don't take any naps during the day because that mucks me up even more. Only takes me a day or two of this to get my body into that routine. Also make sure you are doing plenty during the day to tire yourself out at night, like a bit of exercise. Might not work for you but it does for me.
  7. Removed some posts again. Please don't take this thread down that route please guys.
  8. Liked them ever since Hot Fuss which I still think is a great album.
  9. Has to be McGhee from the list. Will be disappointed if it's anyone else.
  10. Split off some replies. If you want to talk about music we have a music board, please use it. Don't take this thread too far off topic.
  11. Still enjoy looking over your photos. Keep it up :)
  12. No need for 2 topics going at the same time. Please use this thread from now on. :) http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=725994

    Exactly what I'm thinking. http://www.google.com/search?q=1337
  14. I've got weird joints as it is. I'm double jointed in my arms. I can crack almost all my knuckles in my hands. Can even do it without waiting for the gasses to 'reload' in my thumbs and could crack them all day if I wanted. Been doing that since I was a little kid and it's never affected me. My ankles are quite strange too. They crack a lot when I walk, run or stand on my tiptoes. It's quite annoying and I've read up on it a bit. It could either be the gasses building up or it could be something to do with the ligament or tendon snapping back in and out of place. I'm not worried about it however since it doesn't cause any discomfort.
  15. some clothes, dvd & book, aftershave, chocolate, some Australian dollars.
  16. Referral links are not allowed on these boards. Please don't post it again.
  17. Snowed last weekend here, melted quickly though. There's been snow on the hills for months now though Today there's heavy frost, -10c apparently, just looks like snow on the grass :P
  18. Nice work with the index guys. Now just needing 35-46. Then they can merged, sorted alphabetically and edited into the original post.

Ever played 'Real Lives'? It's a game pretty much what you are describing there. Interesting little game that will keep you entertained for a while. http://www.educationalsimulations.com/
  20. Out boxing day here. Definitely one I'll be seeing. Been bombarded with it's advertising whilst in George Sq in Glasgow, mahoosive posters of it there.

Meh, it was ok, not the best but certainly not the worst movie I've seen. Worth seeing either way.
  22. Keep in mind this a family forum right
  23. It's weird there are people who I've been talking on these boards with for years and years now and this is the first time I've actually seen what they look like. Like you for example :P Cool pic btw.
  24. Hmm, is that a good thing? I agree with Daan, post up your pic.
