  1. you watched the first episode didnt you. first 4 episodes have a different director, and they arent as good. To be honest, I dont think its gets particularly good until about episode 16 when they introduce all the side characters properly. :twss: you thinks shes the best? I think the best is the girl who likes to write her freinds as doujinshi characters

  3. sports games are boring in general, why would a sports on on the "streets" be any better I'm glad I've played all CoD4 and Assassain's creed already
  4. well to me it proves that you don't need your big fancy perks and weapons to kill
  5. www.onemanga.com great site if you want to read manga.
  6. I find it slightly ironic that you did not address 90% of my post. Care to use your above average reading skills on the rest of it? Ok then fine, age has nearly nothing to do with how easily you can solve a problem or read a book. Age is simply how long you've been living on this planet. If we're taught things at an earlier age we can learn harder things at an earlier age. If we were taught to add and subtract in kindergarten, multiply and divide in 1st grade, hit the fractions and decimals in 2nd review it all in 3rd then we're ready for pre-algrebra in 4th grade instead we spend kindergarten and first grade, and second grade learning to add and subtract and in third we multiply and divide and so on. Age is only how long you've been living, not how much you've learned
  7. 1. I don't care how long I live as long as I have fun living. Being condemed to a wheel chair and an oxygen tank at 90 years old doesn't sound like fun to me. I'd rather be dead. 2. The experience is different for everyone. I can't just come out and give you what you'll earn over the next few years and I just don't understand why you can't get that concept. The most I can tell you is that you'll be put in situations that will test your morals and will probably change them. Things will happen that will change your views on MANY subjects. Your brain will be able to grasp new concepts and see things in different ways. I can't just give you these things, they're earned over time. And that kid you're talking about, that's great stuff but not what I'm talking about. 3. I don't care. I have a short attention span, I'm extremely tired, and I just don't feel like argueing with you about whether or not you were bragging. 4. (Yes, we're making that #4) The way you talked yourself up is just asking to get your torn down. And I personally see a good bit of flame bait in your first few posts in this thread. Dammit Reb, never give up an arguement that easily. Even if you did do it with sarcasm :P 1. the way you live if you do make it to 90 you're the one whos going to be confined to a wheelchair and an oxygen tank 2. An event big enough to change my mind about something would have to be if my house were nuked directly and everyone in my town except for me died or something pretty close. on important things my mind is set in stone 3. fine then 4. again, to prove I was as mentally capable as any high school student, never to brag about how better I was than all of Tip.it Range: sure go ahead and let the 5 year olds learn sex ed. The youngest woman to give birth was 5 years old anyways so a few of them can probably have children right now. and true some 5 year olds might be reading at a middle school level
  8. 1. Gratz. You truely do know something. Yes, they've both been proven to kill. But there's a nifty little thing called calculated risk. I'm not going to die because I went out and got a little messed up a week ago. I'm not going to die from the 3 cigarettes I smoked a few days ago. Also, you're going to die someday. Why not have some fun while you're still living? 2. This part makes me think you're not as smart as you keep saying. Luck has nothing to do with when you're born. I'm turning 18 in 2008, therefore I was born in 1990 not 1991. Math skills much? And the life experience. We don't all get the same experience. I've gotten some of mine, you don't seem to have gotten any of yours. You're 14 years old. The gov't doesn't even trust you to operate a vehicle without mommy and daddy around. While I hate to admit it, the gov't has some wisdom in it's terrible and corrupt ways. 3. Yes, you were acting as though you were better than us because you're smarter or something. I don't even care. Again, it doesn't matter if you're mentally capable or not. A 5 year old is capable of deciding whether or not he wants to drink the whiskey in the cabinet. A 5 year old is capable of knowing what a curse word is and that they shouldn't use them. So that's awesome that you're mentally capable of making important decisions, but there will be big changes in your future that will change what you think. When I was your age I was scared to death of getting an STD and I thought cigarettes were certain death. Look at me now. I'm cautious of STDs (safe sex kids) but I'm not scared of them. I smoke and I know there's a chance of me dieing from it, but I know there's also a chance of me living and enjoying it. Things will change for you in the next few years. You can sit here and deny it all you want, but we've gone through it! We know it happens! You shouldn't be sitting here rejecting what we're telling you. You should be embracing the valuable information. If you didn't want to get insulted, you shouldn't have asked for it. Also, your teenage years will change you, a lot. Those 3 years definitly make a difference. 1. what's the point have having fun if your going to die earlier then? 2. yes luck does have to do with being born, your parents decided to have sex that year instead of next, you were the sperm cell out of millions that made it into the egg and didn't get miscarried. Like I asked, what experience are you talking about? i know a 13 year old who was been to at least 10 different countries by now and speaks in fluent Polish. Is that the experience your talking about? or is the experience your talking about just being on this planet enough for it to revolve around the Sun 4 more times than me? because so far that's the only experience you've given me. 3. trust me I'm not bragging it was to prove that I'm just as mentally capable as any high school students and i never asked to be insulted you calling me a nerd when I hate studying is the equivalent of me calling you a methhead when you don't do meth
  9. 1. Define "ruin my body". My body is nowhere near ruined. 2. Just because you can read faster and understand what you read better than most people my age, that doesn't mean you're capable of making the same decisions. That means that you can read faster and understand what you read better. If you're as smart as you say you are, I don't see how you couldn't grasp that concept. I have a lot more life experience than you and a lot less than people older than me. I'm more capable of making decisions than you would be (for the most part) and people older than me are more capable than me (in general). 3. You never said you didn't enjoy it. Don't yell at me because you're acting better than everyone. 1. smoking and alcohol have actually been proven to kill :o 2. so because someone was lucky enough to be born before me means that they can do whatever they want but I can't? Just because I was born in 1994 instead of 1991 means i can't decide if I want to drink alcohol or not in 2008? So tell me what life experience is SO great that it'll influence my choices in 2 or 3 years? 3. I'm NOT acting like I'm better than anyone! I'm telling you that just because I'm younger doesn't mean I'm not as mentally capable. Reb.... drop the defense mode? When people are going to insult me I'm going to defend myself. Someone posted that a 13 year old who drinks went to a party with a bunch of 16 years old drinkers there. the 16 year olds said that the 13 year old shouldn't be there. Does that make any sense that someone can't make the same decision as someone three years older?
  10. If having fun is going to potentialy ruin my body or my future it wouldn't be much fun for me. i was not bragging, Range_This stated that younger teenagers aren't as capable as older teenagers to make decisions. If i can read at a greater pace and understand better than a 17 year old that drinks beer why aren't I as capable as them to make decisions? I don't care if I can read fast, I read fast because I'm actually lazy, laziness is what makes me read faster so i can do whatever I want when I'm done reading. and deloria, you act as if i ENJOYED that! i freaking hated it, i practically stayed in 2 rooms that wern't in my house for a good 9/10 of my summer and going to sleep an hour after i got home so i could wake up early enough to go BACK to school EVERY DAY!!! we didn't get weekend breaks we went all day, every day but because of that i get to relax during the year while everyone else is doing the things I just did. As I said I try to get things done quickly so I can do whatever afterwards
  11. I suppose you could lead a hunger strike. If you can get enough people to stop eating lunch at school and make reasonable demands I'm sure you can get something.
  12. Just because you're a nerd doesn't mean you're mature. From what I've seen of you, I'd bet against it too. Yes, you can. An adult can be in the middle of drinking a beer and at the same time scold his son for doing so. Illegality as well as relative maturity:age correlations support the suppresion of rude language and drinking among minors. The rude language/cussing [the topic at hand] because society intends for kids to retain innocence at a young age, to teach them goodness as well as booklearnin' to help them grow proper and whatnot, the drinking to keep the immature from negatively affection society [drunk driving, etc.]. A teenager should not handle alcohol if they can not use it properly. In much the same way, a child* should not handle cussing if they can not use it properly. Understood? *or rather, anyone, but that's a debate for another thread that's probably been posted at least twelve times anyways. preparing for my future is being a nerd? if anything that is a sign that I'm more mature than my fellow classmates, and while i may act goofy I can be 100% serious if need be. and no you still can't it's contradictory. If your dad said "Don't drink it's bad for you" then proceeds to open up a beer he's contradicting himself. That is the reason why young cildren are swearing, they constantly hear adults saying "Don't swear it's bad" then hear older children swearing away. If
  13. Well, I'll hopefully see you all in Madagascar
  14. 16 and 17 year olds have more than likely gone through puberty, are more capable at making responsible choices, and are more physically developed. Since there has been public schooling in America, high school kids have been drinking, but I really have not seen middle schoolers drinking since the start of this century. Hell, when my parents were in school, most Seniors were of age to drink, and most Juniors were 1 year off. I'm 14, i can read as well as a junior in college and i spent most of my summers studying, in fact just this summer i got 1.5 high school credits and 9th grade hasn't even started for me. I choose to do all of that not my parents, I'm perfectly capable of making my own decisions. you can't tell a 5 year old to not swear and then swear 5 minutes later and you can't tell a 13 year old stop breaking the law and potentially harming themselves when your doing the exact same thing!
  15. 16 and 17 year olds can drink (even though its still illegal) but 13 year olds can't? that makes even LESS sense
  16. surprising since i was 11 at the time
  17. nobody is complain! and im not 5 that why! So that gives you the right to swear because you've spent more time on this Earth than he has?
  18. no [cabbage] with rude language! hmmm that [cabbage] was a rude word as well, but why do you complain when a 5 year old does it but it's perfectly fine for you?
  19. What language? you mean English? Yeah I'm surprised a 5 year old can speak that language as well...
  20. You care about what a 5 year old thinks of you?
  21. i beat the story in less than 30 hours (i have the acheivement to prove it) and i didn't bother with the extra stuff. i think the only extra thing i did were the assassin missions and killed ONE pigeon
  22. Force unleashed comes out on September 16th dude not August 16th
