I never have these problems. Tivo FTW! \ \ Just fast forward right through them. I generally don't watch TV though. If I happen to be on live TV, I just find something entertaining to do while I let the TV ramble on about junk I don't care about. For example, when I am watching Sunday afternoon football, I pause the game for 10-20 minutes and leave. I come back and just watch. That kills about 10-20 minutes of commercials. It works great.
