The bulged muscle in your forearm looks ridiculous (as there is very little muscle in the forearm, it's almost all tendons and ligaments), just thought you might like something for future reference.

Pretty good, I'd say that the background looks like you've kinda just gone "meh" and slapped it there as most of the hills look the same colour and the ground looks like a bit of a scribble texture. I really don't understand the highlighting / shading on the rune armour, it looks like there are highlights coming from the opposite direction to the source of light (the moon) and shading towards the light source. This confuses me. The robed character's shading needs more contrast and the shading / highlighting looks a little random on his outstretched arm considering that we know where the light source is. The rune characters shoulder pads look a bit weird, they don't match up in height as though his left shoulder (our right) is a lot higher then his right shoulder. Weird... :? You've probably tried to give it a bit of perspective as though he's turned on his side, but the rest of the body doesn't fit the stance of the shoulder pads. Again the highliting and shadows of the rocks on the ground looks a bit random. We know where the light source is, your shading and highlighting should be based on this. Some cleaning up of the lines in some places might make it look a bit cleaner and neater. Ie, the hills, the armour, the staff etc. This isn't really necessary but it's just one of those things that makes it look better. Last thing is the rune guy looks a bit squat, his torso is actually quite a bit longer in length then his legs. Looks a bit strange. The legs are a tiny bit longer then the torso. But correct me if I'm wrong im not sure. I like your sigs, they look like they've actually had effort put into them and aren't try hard at all unlike a lot around here these days. IMO you either have it or you don't, yes you can get better with practice but... meh. And you've got it :) Not trying to be arrogant or anything, but I like to speak my mind. Ah crap sorry for the wall of text, I'll stop now.

Dude, are you aware of how arrogant that sounds? I'm not sure if I'm taking it the right way but to me it sounds really arrogant. Anyway, ontopic, I like it. I really like the central characters linework. Some tips for improval would be to bring out the shading more, make it contrast a bit more as you can hardly see it. Maybe some fixing of the magic bow wouldn't go astray either as it looks pretty jagged / messy.

There are no armour links for the head and the arms, so it looks like he's wearing a turqoise sweater with some kind of weird full hood.

I don't like ratings so I'm not going to give one, but I'll give CC. Try having a look at what the body really does look sometime, cause on yours you've drawn noodle arms an round heads. Unless you meant it to look like that of course. Um, another thing is next time try some shading, and vary up the textures. When you look at a brick pattern on the ground, it isn't all exactly the same. There are cracks and bigger bricks and smaller bricks and chipped bricks etc. Oh and also, even though it's in your sig, post it in your post cause then people can still look at it when they're writing the post. ie im going off memory now to CC it. :) That is all.

I think it needs a bit more 3d to it. I'll show you with the party hats. This is just real quick and rought but you'll get what I mean, hopefully. Unless your dead on looking at a straight angle, which isn't very common, you'll be able to see a slight curvature and the back part of the pointy bits. Maybe keep that in mind for your next sig.

Yeah I agree. The month idea is better than the Week idea.

I don't like it with the really dark silhouettes. Is everyone asleep in the neighbourhood? How are they going to go trick or treating with everyone asleep?! (No lights on therefore they must be asleep :P). I think maybe some soft lighting to indicate windows etc would be great. And at the moment it took me a few seconds to distinguish the silhouette from the sky, which is not good. :)

I know I could benefit from some practice of anatomy. Count me in. :)

Very nice, the dog thing doesn't blend in with the BG though, just looks like a copy and paste. The stars look a bit odd too.

I think the eyes need pupils. At the moment it looks like they are just two big pupils... in otherwords, totally out of it / on drugs. :P

Actually I think that he's making this for someone for free. :lol: Edit: Something else is his thumb and how it's positioned holding the whip, it looks like he's got a very fat 6th finger. It should be coming from the other direction and connected to the palm kind of area.

He's been pumping some serious iron eh? My only crit would be that the head maybe looks a wee bit small. I think try and give the hair a bit more volume too. Looking sweet so far, and for free as well? The reciever better be grateful! :wink:

Well it's not the fact that you ripped it that people don't like. but just the fact that you didn't make it yourself :) Yeah I agree, I just don't like renders.
