Are we really trying to reduce our emissions? Or are the governments making it seem like we are? Canada recently admitted they wouldn't reach their 2010 Kyoto Protocol. If we really cared about this, and not our pocket books... Would we still be having this issue? Look at it this way, my province has three certain ways to produce energy, we've got hydro,solar and wind energy at our fingertips! Yet we don't take advantage of this. The goverment is in it for money and for the most part, don't care about anything else. (In my oppinion.) Here's the example: I'm almost certain that big cities like Toronto and Atlanta will be unbreathable in years to come, if we keep this up. No this isn't a global warming rant. This is a look at energy conservation in order for us to be able to breath, in order for us to not run out of resources. Sure they say they fund millions of dollars into RD every year. But how much of it goes into actual reasearch for new resources? Just think about it, post your thoughts. Thank you
