Divine intervention and close brushes with death
Was fighting Nomad and everything was going ok but then I ran out of Kyatt scrolls so I went from owning him to getting in a shot whenever I could. As he was in berserker stage I was running low on supplies, he managed to make me use up all of my brews so I safespotted him, knowing I only had a few seconds I stepped out and hoped for a lucky shot, he hits me for a 0 and I kill him.

Thanks, one other question. Will I still be able to see my gravestone timer when I'm on a different world or will I need to keep track of the time myself?

I'll soon be getting multiple 99's but I would like to keep my current cape untrimmed, is this possible? I've heard that dying in f2p, getting the levels and telegrabbing the old capes from my gravestone will keep them untrimmed, is this still true? If so, are there any methods for dying in f2p relatively close to a bank? If this won't work, is there another method that will?

Yeah, but there's some locked skills that need the buff. What about non combat skills getting the buff first? Mmm, perhaps. What skills in particular were you thinking of? Mining, cooking, thieving, fletching. And especially SMITHING. Mining stops at 85, cooking 93, thieving 95, fletching 95, smithing 99. Other than smithing, none of those skill you mentioned unlock anything at 99 (outside daemonheim), so why do they need to go higher to have more content?

First dungeoneering reward?
Bonecrusher isn't that useful/that much experience. Though I've heard it is good for when hunting using falconry, but that's a rather minor benefit.

Dungeoneering (so I've been told) increases it's experience rate enough as you level to make having such a high level reasonably achievable, no other skills are like this. Unless the reward is untradeable then it definitely won't be worth it, if it's untradeable then it might be worth it (depending on what it is). If they haven't updated them with dungeoneering (which would be the only time it would make sense), why would they do it afterwards? In before somebody posts the picture of the majority of stats at level 120 which happens when the game loads sometimes. There have been a few threads about this since dungeoneering was released, couldn't you have just necromanced one of them? There's lots of content missing in some skills (especially outside daemonheim) in the higher levels anyway, why would levels beyond 99 need to be added when there isn't a requirement in the top end anyway?

If you're referring to the colours then I really don't know what you mean. If you're referring to the members only nature of the different colours, well there's members versions of pretty much everything so you either have to write off all of f2p or stop using such a poor argument. If you meant something else then I really really don't know what.

Party chest, corrupt dragon, buying out the general store stock then reselling it, distributing it 3k at a time to noobs, buying logs and lighting fires everywhere.

Thanks for the quick replies, turmoil is simply out of my price range right now, all of my cash is being spent on getting the extremes. I'll try to range him a little beforehand to avoid getting stuck with healers. One of the things I'm least sure of is piety or soulsplit+the leeches if I don't have turmoil?

I've currently got Jad as my slayer task and after my failed attempt at the traditional ranging/prayer switching I'm hoping to be able to rush him with claws etc. I didn't have any issues getting to jad, just the final fight. My relevant stats when I attempt this will be: 97 attack 97 strength 96 defence 98 hitpoints 92 prayer 88 range 94 magic High enough herblore for extreme attack/strength but not overloads. Because I don't have the level for turmoil (nor the cash for it) would I be better off using piety for the higher boosts or soul split for the healing? I should prepare the following way correct?: 1. Position last 360, brew, super restore, kill 360 2. Safespot jad, cast vengeance, rebrew/restore if needed, extreme potions 3. Wait remainder of 30 seconds(?) for second vengeance cast 4. Equip claws, ready specials and prayer 5. Run out and spec, recast vengeance, spec Then if he's not dead what do I do? Switch to a melee weapon (would be a whip), retreat and try again if healers aren't present, or back up and try ranging him to death? I don't have much in the way of strength gear (no bandos). I could get a torso easily if it would make a significant difference, other than that probably just a fury, dragon boots, and fsh. What are my odds of success with this method?

Ranged slaying
I have 99 firemaking so I guess I'd be on the low side when it comes to cannon explosions. I have void but not the deflector, keeping this in mind, what would you be considering to be high defence and requiring dragonhide as opposed to void? Does the higher damage of karils make up for the slower firing speed than darts/knives? Thanks for the quick reply, and a it was you that poste. I kind of feel stupid for not remembering your spreadsheets, mostlly use the skilling ones.

Ranged slaying
Hi there, I'm wanting to level range using slayer (88 at the moment). I'm looking for a balance between cost and speed, I'm going to spend a lot more time training slayer so I don't the range xp to increase insanely fast, I'd jut like to have the option of ranging a task when I feel like it. I use broad bolts and dragonhide for ranging but this was pre kuradal's dungeon. With the ferocious rings I am thinking that it would be better to use a faster speed range weapon like knives/darts, problem is, I haven't used these since I was going for 70 and using iron knives because they were easy to make. So if someone could please tell me the best of these options to use or if I am missing another form of ranged training while slaying (please don't mention chinning nechs in chaos tunnels) Hope you can help, thanks.
