W117 DG Introduction
Opening all of the rooms (I don't think you actually need to go into them) will get you a maximum of +13% bonus. The -20% I was talking about is if you only killed the boss, this almost never happens as you will get at least one guardian door (the rooms where you need to kill all monsters for the doors to open) in prettymuch every dungeon.

Pro Dung clans / worlds?
Dge requires 93+ dungeoneering I believe. 3bo is 105+. World 148 is 80+ but supposedly isn't very good as you're dealing with randoms. If you use a clanchat that can be good for getting people to do floors with you, though obviously the quality will vary.

W117 DG Introduction
So here's how you start: Take the time to do 6 dungeons alone. Between each dungeon raise your complexity each time and then figure out how to manage dungeon floors. Figure out how long one floor takes. Figure out keys. Figure out some bosses. Get some levels. Then go exploring. Open up all the dungeoneering doors in the RS overworld. Sometimes those will give you exp > than 5 levels and you don't even have to go to Daemonheim to level it again. So the way you get the best exp is to simply do the following: Do medium or large dungeons. Kill every monster. Go into every room. Have a 5-man group. Kill the boss. Don't die (10% exp loss per death). Turn off guide mode. Do a high complexity. Manage your floor reset correctly. Bind the best [melee is easiest, get someone to buy the ore and make you maybe a longsword of the best metal you can weild] weapon and have it so that you can kill guardians and bosses nicely. Try to always keep as many of these criteria satisfied as possible, and your exp rate will be great. Also remember to take it at a decent speed - slow experience is slow experience; don't do a complexity that is too hard for you. The way you do the reset is precisely like this: Do every room you can (consecutively is the easiest way). Once you've done them all, do NOT repeat any of them. Click the reset floors button. Now repeat - do ALL the rooms you can do (should be more after you've gotten experience and checked out the overworld experience opportunities at those doors). EDIT: I'm dungeoneering right now (I'm only 36 so far), so I could help you on 117 in person if you do need someone there! Most of this is right, that part isn't however. While killing all of the monsters will increase your level bonus (ranging from -20% to 10%(?)) It isn't worth the added time, you're better off using that time to do another dungeon. If the team you are with knows what they're doing, they will rage at you for this. You might be able to find people who want to clear everything and if it's your desire then join them, but it will slow you down and most people won't be appreciative. You don't need to worry about the -20% as you will reduce most of this penalty from doing guardian doors and clearing puzzle rooms. Don't use a longsword, use a two hander (promethium) and plate. It's worth investing tokens into customising your ring, even a tier one berserker increases the damage you do while using agressive attack style (slash and crush on a 2hander, both styles it provides) by ~15%, can't remember specifically. All for the low cost of 135 tokens. Once you've unlocked complexity 6, you should do your top 5 or so floors as 5:5 larges (or mediums if you still want to learn how to dg) and rush through the other floors as complexity 1 (c1). This is in order to get them done as quickly as possible as they give little experience but you need to complete them in order to maintain your prestige.

Penance Horn
Well it would also depend on how long you both spent charging. I'm guessing doing waves 1-6 might be a balance between time spent resetting and the longer time spent on higher waves.

200M in all Skills
If you look at gertjaars' 32 xp gain, I'm going to guess that he killed a cow using controlled. Obviously he must be planning on training crafting next.

70m slay xp
Very nice as usual. Are you ever planning on price checking all of that?

Dying in Dung
Praying, usually protect from mage, though sometimes range. Will prevent a lot of damage being done to you. Also if the keyer has just run through the room then you can ggs teleport to them in order to bypass the room (assuming they have it on them)

What will make you quit RS

Cave in the wildy
So I'm very late in noticing then, thanks. Mod can feel free to lock

Cave in the wildy
I was doing a treasure trail and came across this cave, I've never seen it before, though it looks similar to something. It has no clickable options. Could somebody tell me when it was added/why? Sorry for such a noobish question, but it got me interested.

That's a very impressive year of level gaining.

Getting into Clue Scrolls
While it depends on your stats, revenants are mostly pushovers, while they can walk through doors/webs, they're still easy to lure behind an obstacle/protect range (it's range that freezes you) and run away. A tip with the splitbark helm/mud pie clue is to make sure you turn auto retaliate off before doing the emote, otherwise you'll throw the pie and need to get another one. Tip its guide is very useful, though once you've done a lot of clues, you'll probably only need the coordinate locater.

200M Firemaking XP
Very, very nice. I can't imagine getting any skill to 200 mill xp.

Returning from 2005 retirement-too much change, where to start?
You may also want to take up farming herbs, they're good profit for relatively little time invested. I'm also going to link you to grimy's spreadsheets, they provide statistical information for many skills. If you click the farming one it will tell you the best herbs to farm (profit per seed). http://forum.tip.it/topic/254457-grimys-spreadsheets/ Slayer is a favoured skill nowadays and is many peoples choice for combat training, the black mask increases your atack and strength by 15% when killing your slayer task. While it will soon become less useful, the grand exchange makes trading a lot easier than it used to be. Basically you type in an item, enter your price (within a range, there are plans to remove this) and if somebody has entered that item for sale at your price or lower, the item will appear in your grand exchange box, accessible from any banker. Doing some quests would also help as they'll send you around the news areas of the map and unlock various things.

Grats, why wasn't I invited to party though?

Does SOL effect fruit trees?
Yes to both, 5% chance I believe. Haven't had a dead fruit tree before and assume you're making payments.

Frozen door (New)
Of these, only point 4 seems to me to be a reasonable explanation for the presence if a general Zaros. Also, whatever is behind the door should (theoretically) be a lot stronger than the other generals as they had to combine to not kill him, but lock him in a room.
-
Frozen door (New)
I was implying the whole "my revenge will be great thing" Also, none of the actual Gods are in the GWD...just their generals. So Zaros himself doesn't need to be there for a general to be there representing him.. Also like I said, Zaros didn't need to have been in the God Wars from the beginning, maybe he's joining now, since the dungeon has been thawed out, and war now continues. Maybe now he'll join. It does make sense that he could join now, since we've been working so hard to free him, he's gaining power, and now he's going to use that power to fight the other gods in the thawed out dungeon, namely zamorak. If Zaros had a general just joining now, then why would the general have been frozen in behind the door since the time of the god wars?

99's two and three
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the effigies are lying next to cooking, farming, herblore, summoning and construction related items :P Grats on two great 99's :) 9/10 They most certainly are, the crafting ones are next to the battlestaves so I don't get confused with mining/smithing ones though. Thanks for all the comments.

itam's HC diy'er thread
Your account is so impressive when you look at your play style. I'm guttered that it's better than mine really.

99's two and three
My first and second 99's, a long time since I got my first. I'm happy and thought I'd share. And here's the bank picture, the cash pile is a little low, but that's because I have 41.6mill in (hopefully) reasonably liquid grand exchange offers. Planning on getting 95 prayer and access to frost dragons in the future. Thanks for reading.

Armour choices
I'm planning on getting turmoil soonish. Which prayer boosting armour (veracs or proselyte I assume?) will be best for prayer and defence? Basically, what tasks will I need the added defence of veracs for and where can I go for the cheaper option of proselyte?

New to Members: Help!
Pretty much every quest is useful, but another couple which you might want to prioritise: Wolf whistle, druidic ritual - unlock summoning and herblore skills Fishing contest - allows a shortcut under white wolf mountain, useful as you can't yet teleport to that side of the map (west) Priest in peril - opens up the canifis area, prettymuch everything east of varrock Lost city - will allow you to use the dragon longsword and dagger, though you'll need to get 60 attack in order to use them Starting the slayer skill is useful as it increases your combat skills as well as slayer level. A games necklace is a relatively close teleport to a slayer master. Construction is basically a money sink, I'd avoid it for a while. Agility is useful as it will decrease the rate of your energy depletion and increase the speed energy returns at, useful if you ever need to go anywhere. Troactid will probably be along shortly to tell you to do all quests.
