  1. Did the 120 mahogany costume boxes challenge. Med price of a mahogany plank is 2258, used 240 of them for the challenge so 541,920 gp used total. Reward was 19452 construction experience (not counting what I got from making the tables) and 15 grimy torstols plus 165 gp. Med price for grimy torstol is 36117 so 541920 gp reward total. Seeing as how the 165 gp seems a little random, I'm guessing that they're using it as a balancing entry to make sure the reward and costs are the same.
  2. To me it seems that you're underestimating the time it takes to get 104 million experience. To put it this way, all of your experience combined wouldn't add up to one 120 skill. Also, the only 120 we currently have increases its experience rate every 2 levels, most other skills don't follow this pattern.
  3. If I had to guess I'd suggest talking to who gave you the vials in the first place.
  4. Are the item rewards actually worth roughly what you spent, or is that only in Jagexes mind?
  5. Are all the combat tasks for melee/mage/range or Can I use them on prayer?
  6. For herblore, make some untradeable potions (extremes, super antifires and overloads), if you get 99 without making these then you'll need to spend time and money after 99 to get them when you want to use them, so it's better off using them as your training even though its initially more expensive. Use Grimy's spreadsheets for working out the best mixture of gp/xp and xp/h, it assumes mid ge prices (updated automatically) and near maximum speed of clicking. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AldEhLOK6ejJdEt4SDZMY3F3SVY3UE9UWHRGU3VNQUE#gid=8
  7. Assuming I need 18 more resets to get 120 dungeoneering, and I'm averaging 200k woodcutting experience and 143k fishing experience per 1-29. Then I should get 99 woodcutting but not fishing from c2's, as I don't think I'll get that many effigy stages for fishing I think I'll do this after slayer/agility. Thanks everyone.
  8. When I say always very slow, I mean regardless of your computer. Just don't use them.
  9. Try altering your graphics settings, software and safe mode are always very slow.
  10. Why shouldn't I have lamped slayer? Just to reiterate I have the charms for 99 banked without needing to resort to golds/greens. I thought slayer was one of the slower options, though I guess in my original post I should've mentioned not using a cannon. Thanks for the LRC setup Jeremy.
  11. Hi there. At the moment I've been using my bonus experience from jot/sof/troll invasion in agility and slayer, however these are both nearly 99 and I'm unsure as to which skill should receive the experience next, so I'd like some help. Here are my current stats: Please bear the following things in mind: My goal is to max all skills. My current income is from battlestaves, manage thy kingdom, making potion flasks and toadflax runs (I prefer the low capital investment and can be lax with these, causing me to fear price changes in herbs/seeds, please don't suggest altering this). I have 65 effigies at various stages banked. Prayer will be trained with either infernal ashes or dragon bones. Cooking I am currently undecided on training method. Woodcutting will be trained when completing c2s. Fletching will be trained by adding diamond tips to bolts. Fishing will be trained when completing c2s. Crafting will be trained by making air battlestaves. Smithing will be trained by superheating/dropping gold until 99 mining, method after then is unknown. Mining will be trained by mining gold, superheating, jujus, dragon pick, urns, tier 2 aura and lava titans, no mining suit, will likely have no horn for the majority. Herblore will be trained with overloads and extremes, unknown composition of the potions though. Thieving will be trained at monkey knife fighters. This is actively being trained. Runecrafting will be trained at runespan, the of this is highly valued. Hunter will be trained at draconic jainkos with witchdoctor, zammy favours, tier 2 aura and arctic bears. This is actively being trained. Construction will be trained using carved teak wardrobes (6 teak planks per item), constructors outfit, normal butler and butler discount. This is actively being trained. Summoning will be trained using crimson and blue charms, familiars are undecided but will likely be yaks and geyser titans, charms are already collected. Dungeoneering will be trained by c2ing floors 1-29 and rushing 30-60. This is actively being trained. Also, could someone please provide me a setup for lrc gold mining with jujus, urns and titans? Hope someone can help me, thanks.
  12. Correct me if I'm wrong but same tier means bandos/subjugation/armadyl will have the same stats as their barrows counterparts, the only differences will be the negligible costs and set effects? What was the point in the god wars dungeon update then? Aside from the few people who really hate paying repairs, nobody will be using all the new amour they just hyped and released.
  13. The way I read it he took 4 months to get 68m via rc.
  14. Dragonseance is at university right? Presumably his play time will be dropping some time after he graduates?
  15. For future reference http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/
  16. With 1.0.4.0 my map no longer captures, I tried all combinations of navigation bar enabled/disabled in both scape and the sweeper.
  17. I've tried to change said minds, realised it's not worth the energy.
  18. Grimy's spreadsheets, here. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AldEhLOK6ejJdGxma1R3NlNOS1F2UEpMNUY4MU11Rmc#gid=0
  19. Because this isn't xpwaste. A thread can carry on even if a mod finds it boring.
  20. You're understanding it correctly. Armour now gives hp too. As to whether it's worth it, I don't know.
  21. If they were under 18 and still able to understand/execute these things, surely they can hide a bank statement, or get it sent electronically.
  22. What Den said. Also the Jagex spin on it would be along the lines of "monsters drop spin tickets-> spin tickets get you the pendants, so slayer gives you pendants, if not then why not try buying some more spins, you could win a limited time cosmetic item". But more wordy, cheerful and transparent.
  23. Where did the information that they didn't pay tax come from? I don't know about America, but where I live you can pay tax on illegaly acquired funds and the tax department won't contact law enforcement. Personally, I'm impressed that they made the amount of money they did, assuming the estimates from this thread are correct. I know I'd take that amount of money over Scape any day (it wasn't even necessarily over scape in this case, considering Jagexes recent record with detection and punishment). While the baming and shaming is a good move on Jagex's part, I doubt that those who made significant amounts of money from this really care.
  24. Butterflies are kind of annoying to click (small click area) but you only need to click them once each and your player will chase it til you catch it, these do need 80 hunter and 75 agility though, although they are catchable with a jar and net at lower levels that isn't good experience, you need to be barehanding them. The entry level barehanded butterflies are also conveniently located next to the fairy ring in piscatorious hunter area.
