  4. Lies. I do think that high ranking players are quite geeky. Nerds are, by the definition I have learned, people who are quite intelligent, don't have too many friends if any, and are isolated (in study). Geeks are people who are enthusiastic about a subject and have quite a lot of knowledge, ability, or skill in that area. Examples include a computer geek or a band geek. I'm quite geeky about finding out the best ways to level in RuneScape, but I waste a lot of time and could have a significantly higher total level if I hadn't used a lot of time just browsing the internet or just playing minigames on RuneScape. Now whether they have some real life acquisitions such as a good job/career/degree/education and good social relations depends on their efficiency, the time they have played (when they started RuneScape), and their time used on things other than skills in RuneScape. It really just depends and there are quite a lot of people who do an overwhelming job with keeping balance in their life while excelling. Uha.. Donno what your calling me a liar about but thats a good opinion which I somewhat agree with. Briefly: Imo geeks are people who are intelligent but are generally liked and socialable. Nerds are people who are intelligent but mean and less liked. Again thats all down to opinion. The same way the word 'noob' is. Being a geek or a nerd is linked to any particular subject you want. Its also a immature saying imo but I dont mind it either. I accept people like to chuck it about and take it as a compliment most times depending who said it and what context. Tbh I dont act smart and love to live life myself so although im a geek I am also reasonably 'normal' too in a abnormal way. If that makes any sense lol. - Chucking something else out there. I dont mention it often but some high ranking (Aswell as lower) players must have OCD too which helps out alot in this game. (While levelling to keep fast xp rates etc.) If you have control over that condition you can play safely without it consuming you. So im not saying they are compulsive players. I said 'some' as there are undoubtedly people who are just very passionate about the game. Me included. Thats one mental condition/gift of many that can actively aid players keep efficiency aswell as intelligence which often comes with such conditions/mind. Anyway this is far too deep for this forum so I stop there. Also understand this applies to ALL PLAYERS. So its actually rather irrelevant lol. If you consider someone who is passionate about something to be a geek then yes many high levels are.. If you do not consider a geek to be this.. Then I guess they are not. Its down to opinion. I highly believe that most 'high level's have 'lives' though. People cant survive without them.. Every high level I met has a 'life' outside of runescape. Its kinda immature to presume otherwise. [/hide] You definitely don't have an IQ above 160 if you couldn't even figure out what I was calling you a liar about. *rolls eyes back* I dont care about proving it. Jealousy sucks [wagon] especially over the internet.. #-o The average is 80-120 with genius around the mark of 140-160. Its not uncommon for me to meet people with IQs over 140. I simply am higher and if anyone is jealous of that then thats their problem tbh. I was banter joking although I was serious. Not seriously bragging. To point it out is embarrassing they felt they had to.
  5. Unfortunately I was in my newb years back then so didnt really care about them and didnt get them. Not that' bothered tbh. I also remember being in america around that time (I live in the U.K) so I wasnt really playing that much. I was busier or simply cared less about the game back then. So no I dont know if I do or do not have any remaining traits unfortunately.
  6. I would rather have some soap. - Edit: Ok I stick to what I said earlier. The clan chat of the new ceo.

  8. People take rwt too seriously in this case. Its 'ok' for jagex to do it in all honesty but they choose not to and for good reasons. This however would be for charity and they gain nothing from it. Its like saying its wrong to steal your own furniture. Well infact its ok.. Its wrong for someone /else/ to steal it then sell it but its ok for yourself to sell it. Its just a bad idea to sell your furniture in bulk when its pixels that can be duplicated. It takes away all the challenge from the game. This would be irrelevant in this case as the money goes to charity making it a good cause. The item itself is useless and will disappear after a while. Its like buying a special status on a forum when you donate to help the forum out. Except you lose it after a while and the money goes to charity. RWT equals membership too...
  9. NO WAY! The discussion carries onto who -hasnt- forgotten it. The OP clearly states that in the topic title. Although admittedly its an escalation mark rather than a question mark which is a tad confusing. - I havnt forgotten it since I have never been. So no I havnt forgotten it. Its me who hasnt.[/discussion]
  10. I would love them to do this for both red nose day and children in need. I think it needs to 50p atleast though. Pudsey ears etc. : (Like the bunny but pudsey!) Look hawter than a red nose even.
  11. This forum should ban bug abusers tbh. They 'fix' my signature forcing me to make it bigger.. Which I was originally trying to save space. So its actually using more space now to keep within the rules.. (Fair enough.... I guess) But not ban someone braking jagex rules. #-o Ah.. Just to unspam. Though I didnt really intend to post this here as it was more intended for Meh blog.
  12. How would you fix the scrollbar? I can't think of a good solution... Please elaborate. And this list isn't aimed at certain levels, but to make little fixes to improve general gameplay. Im no genius but maybe REMOVE IT would be a good solution. Plus obviously either make it bigger for more space or resize the skill tabs. Its really their problem how they do it. Redesigning the skill interface surely isnt a bigger job than 'designing and making a skill' to begin with. And yes thats a very good suggestion to add to the list. Its very ugly, annoying, horrendous for screenshots.
  13. I never been. :!: #-o Barrows smarrows.
  14. Well its subjective what you mean by "nerdy.." This is one of those.. I can do all this cool stuff so I am cool posts. : If being intelligent (I have an iq over 160 *Brag rights*) and having high skills makes me a geek + Working and being in a relationship makes me a geek then so be it. That and the fact I am 22.. so I seriously do not care what some 12 year old American thinks of me lol. :D I dont look 'nerdy' infact im quite good looking and cute apparently. I might come across a bit geeky in certain situations but just because I read *gasps* -books- doesnt mean im a social outcast either. I admit I prefer gaming to going out every night of the week. I am introverted so rather keep nights out lower compared to staying in. Besides that I do do other things besides game. I have to or I wouldnt have a female friend last too long. Which has its own form of entertainment. As a complicated person.. told by many people.. I do love repetitive tasks but im quite into trying new things. I do more wacky things or more things than the average person does. When it comes to activities and experiencing things. I try to keep doing things I havnt done before. As for other high level nerds with no lifes I have no comment. Most of the ones I have met are 16+ with maybe less of a job but the older ones usual got a life to maintain so have a job. They dont seem any less different than other people I meet who dont play runescape. Some are quit extroverted while others are more introverted but there has never been anything wrong with that. Addictiveness can apply to anyone. Just because your higher doesnt mean your addictive. Just because you go out drinking every night of the week doesnt make you cool. Do what you find fun as much as you can, make people happy.. Live your life the way you want to. Etc Etc. As a side personal note. I bet I done alot more for charity than those people who say 'lol nerd no life!' etc. (Simply because they dont sound very mature..) I can waste my time the way I choose to tbh. I love this game and I love helping people etc. Its a whole school thing anyway. I rarely get called a geek in real life and if I do its usually by immature people >.> Or a compliment.

  17. The original list did. I believe it was changed to 25 alches max later as a compromise.
  18. Thats a good point. If they dont release ingame content updates there will be alot less bugs. ;) They given alot evidence on why they havnt released stuff. They have told us.. So while its not exactly great for them to keep delaying.. They obviously working still. Time will tell tbh. I do feel its bad they havnt released much lately though.. Not a good sign for them.
  19. Heh.. Already replied to that on the official forums days ago. \ Aint I clever. (Page 34 *winks*) Didnt realise it was truthscape though... That explains away the weird clique vibe that I couldnt quite shake off lol. Great thread. [hide=My reply..]I agree with nearly all of it. I shaw comment on the rest. - Remember Settings - All good except you would need a toggle for the auto join clan on login/logout. For the rest I wont dwell on if its practical for jagex to implement such things due to various technical reasons but otherwise I like them. Movement and View - Sure enough within technical possibilities. New Buttons and Functions - 10. Allow us to send more than one line of text at a time Alrite there needs to be more done than simply allowing more than one line. The whole chat system needs to be redone. So I agree that we need a new chat interface but not with allowing multiple lines with the current chat interface. 13. Option to toggle on/off the spam when there is a drop party. There is no need for every clerk in the GE or a bank plus various guards to shout the amounts and time remaining for drop parties down to the last dollar & second. Anti-RWT measure. Wont happen even if everyone wants it. Clickability - 4. Option to enable Left-click on monsters of a higher level. Dont agree. Nothing to suggest as I think its a nice reward gaining a combat level above a monster for the one clickability. Wild dogs come to mind. 7. Fix Edgeville furnace and Blast Furnace anvil doors to allow easier pass-through on busy worlds (like the Tower of Life door)! And keep that armour-selling dwarf away from the anvil doors - he just gets in the way. Concerning edgeville I agree. I would prefer they removed the door though and simply didnt allow those without the armour from using the furnace. Graphics and Other Niceties - All good within possibility. Less Clicking - 4. "Dump Inventory" option for banking. I believe this has been implemented recently. 5. Drop X along with Drop All If you mean your inventory then I strongly disagree. Its a balance issue. Allowing players to drop stuff unbalances the game. Some things are TOO good to be true. 7. Burn-X Logs? I disagree with this. Its less of a balance issue but I just prefer it was kept as it is. Its more fun than having 'burn-x' as was it was more fun without 'cook-x'. My own suggestion - Make some piece of armour or some kind of temporary bonus that gives a chance of burning multiple logs. Same idea for cooking before they created 'cook x'. 26. Make leveling up not interfere with your current activity and make you have to restart. Its fine how it is. You rarely gain levels and there is no need for this change besides some kind of preference that not everyone would agree with. 12. Add restrictions on Party Pete's hall. Junk items are automatically removed from the chest, cause as soon as there is a valuable drop in the chest, it is inevitably filled with leather gloves and willow longbow (u)'s There is nothing 'wrong' with these junk items. That said. You could perhaps reword it as a toggle that you can set a minimum value of an item. That seems fair enough. 15. Eliminate world hopping delay timer - with infinite stocks and GE-based pricing, it's no longer required. Disagree. Game balance issue. Bankspace Issues - All good. Economics - All good. F2P Accessibility - All good since fletching was removed. Minigame Upgrades - I pass judgement as I dont do half of these minigames. Player Owned House Fixes - 4. Allow us to store partial sets in our POH costume rooms. For technical reasons jagex wont do this so no point asking. Alot more information is needed to store partial sets than a full set. 6. POH Loading time takes too long. Eh.. Surely its obvious that they would make it faster if it was possible. No point asking. I could suggest people build smaller houses though as that reduces the loading time. ;) (Other things could be considered technically not possible at this time but I do believe they should implement the ability to shuffle things around a bit. I think that part was laziness (Lack development time) as it shouldnt cause too much server stress.) Bigger Fixes (for consideration) - All good - I especially agree with making your own familiar priority over others. (Obviously individually) I also highly extremely support the idea of a toggle on and off 'follow' button. - Forum suggestion: Remember the last page you were on after you login. Able to quote people aswell as many many other basic forum tools. Bolding etc. Not forgetting more space to write in! (Maybe not a small change but I had forgotten how annoying it is when I was trying to reply..) - Game suggestion: More agility shortcuts :) Useful ones obviously. Both low and high level. - I still a supporter even if I dont agree with all of it. Great thread and effort. :D[/hide]
  20. Nooooo! I believe I used to be rank 107 a long time back but so many people been smithing since I done other skills.. Even after recently doing more I am just short of what I was before. Even to the point of passing zezima now. Goodluck with that 4m smithing xp lol. ;) I finished with that now so make it easier for ya.
  21. Always zezima in runescape. Always zezima in fun orb. Always zezima in mechscape most likely. He beaten all of jagex stuff. Who cares if he isnt ranked #1 now. He has beaten fun orb in its place. all time-zezima 5 years ago-zezima 1 year-zezima now-zezima And no im not a fan exactly. Although I have alot of respect. Just answering the thread and it happens to be him. He always be more famous than the richest player etc.
  22. Mod MMG's Ingame Behind the Scenes (His clan chat - If someone bothers to post it that is.)
  23. Jagex. We learn form the best. Joking.. My counting skills do go beyond 70. - Anyway. I fail at.. Err.. I fail at..! I donno tbh. I dont really fail at anything on this game. Even got my firecape on first attempt. Skills pretty good; erm.. WAit! I fail at fishing. Majority of the time I fish in this game I literally fall asleep. Its quite hard for me to train. Barb fishing is too tedious and monkfishing puts me to sleep. :-# (Im not joking I have on many occasions fallen asleep; which is quite sad really but its so calming and slow so..)
