Its great him answering these questions. These are better than the announced ones. Thought that quest must of had some issues; good to know it from jagex though. Junk removal quest interests me but sounds a bit odd.

Level 102 Smithing! 10th March 2009 I got a bit over a thousand more ores to go and I post a shot of the bars soon. (About to pass Zezima's rank.) ;) I have also nearly achieved 101 Woodcutting + Firemaking. Still more work needed for magic and fletching.

Hm I had someone ask me where to find a certain type of tree (Cant remember what - Might been evergreen - Might even been you! =O Possibly =p) Which I couldnt remember the location of. #-o Just told them sorry I couldnt remember where they were. I find it annoying when people ask me questions as I rarely actually know the answer. Its tedius saying 'sorry sorry sorry' I dont remember lol. Still I usually reply unless they spam me. Its quite frequent I get asked things I dont know. I wish people asked me things I did know. Rather than these random things I did years ago. Or some random tree I cant really be bothered to remember its existence of as its xp sucks or whatever =p I kinda knew but I didnt want to say incase I was wrong tbh. Rather act dum if im not 100% sure im right. - As for the thread. I mostly am nice to everyone if they deserve it. Its hard to know who is a newb nowadays. Most 100+ combat people seem fairly 'newbish' to me compared to how it used to be. So it matters all the less tbh.

Even if they dont admit to it (Why would they!) that of might been due to rwt issues at the time. Trying to keep people playing. Though they certainly should spend time on their future skills. I dont mind simpler skills like hunter.. But its good to have things going upto 99 even if its very useless rewards tbh. Atleast something there is nice to be rewarded with.

-Concerning updates above level 70 - Also to be fair they have been pretty open about the fact they are waiting for the rest of the community to catch up. Meaning they do not intend to release high level content as lower level people cant do it. Its become apparent that they chuck a few bones such as the inferno adze with a couple of other gnawed bones such as the abyssal pet. (Which is useless but cool.) Then theres of course the updates that lower people moan at high levels saying we got godwars etc. But those arnt true high level updates. They are -everybody but high combat people get an advantage- updates. Inc minigamse were combat sometimes give advantage and rarely do the skills. Obviously I personally do not share the same opinion as jagex - Who seem to think the idea of working towards a goal as being absurd. (Besides summoning anyway) They have been pretty honest about it. It was obvious high level content concerns were being ignored before.. but hope prevailed. Nowadays they have been honest about their intentions and its pretty disheartening. I seen so many people leave due to this over the years. People I knew and people I didnt. Yet they continue to wait for the community to catch up before releasing updates. Inferno adze for example.. As more people now have the skill level for it to use. (Although I still consider it a high update....Just many more people have the requirement than certain other skills.) Even then theres combat which many many people have high skills in. Which they dont dont seem to add higher requirements too. Which is rather odd... So hope has never been exactly plentiful to begin with. Summoning wasnt a total loss though so maybe there is. They -could- of made it better for lower levels like everything else but I find this skill very balanced for everyone.

...Yeeea...er.. 5 more years that means? Its kinda disappointing that they dont just release it even without a decent storyline behind it. Favour woodcutting much.. :? :D - Btw awesome questions this week. Perhaps many unanswered important questions remaining but thats a pretty good effort. Other questions relating to high level content I guess they get tired of answering "no" to. I mean always "thinking about it" and "developing" with a couple of handouts a year.

Well I believe that when your paying someones wages then yes its a reasonable assumption that they work their [wagon] off for it? When I pay someone to fix the central heating I dont just make them cup of tea and watch them eat cakes for a whole week. The programming wouldnt of taken long at all for this update + Others are tedius tasks that even collectively are not as difficult as making a quest or what not. Some 12 year old walks by - OMGF GO PLAY WOW YOU NOOB! MY MUMMY PAYS MY MEMBERSHIP AND JAGEX RULES. /Err.. Maybe there a reason I choose jagex. :roll: Obvious I dont hate. I cant be assed with such comments tbh. I dont need to explain myself. Its possible they are testing some other bigger update but the fact is this week was very poor. Without the BTS we do not know what they are doing. When doing patch updates there should be many more updates than what you would otherwise get for a bigger update. Its apparent without any other evidence that they are not up to standard lately. Hopefully! Its because bigger updates are on the way.. So big that it took even the patch developers time to make. Since they dont seem to be doing many patches.. (O Excuse me I brb - I see the people to fix my central heating have figured out how to take the front panel off. I wont whine though at the cost per hour they get for their labour. That would be absurd.) Anyway the fact is if people complain then there are most certainly people who get bored altogether which isnt good for them as a company. Their current system might not be the best approach when the majority of their income is from children. A deposit all button is a /afterthought/ update barely taking any time. The patch notes are not up to standard with their past updates; simply because (It seems in many peoples opinions) they do not collectively add up to what past updates managed to achieve. Obviously people react to this and its up to Jagex what they do next or continue doing. - Btw they could of made that button default which stops things switching with whatever item you move. Forget what its called. People always have to press that button.

They need to be adding more than this or it will take forever. Add some more agility shortcuts ect too. I imagine that will be forgotten. That said.. They are useful 'upgrades' but rather lacking. I consider an 'upgrade' to be what they did to the bank ages ago when adding the tab feature. This is just a miner addition that wouldnt of taken very much effort/coding. No offence to the guy who coded it + etc. Apparently being the main upgrade I am sure it was very fulfilling for him/her.... And then went home early. :-#

OMG They removed the random events from the game too! Its like they trying to dismantle the game one step at a time! OMG My stats are melting! MELTING! The sky is falling! The game is crashing! Its shutting down! Oh wait.. I just spilt beer on my pc. False alarm. Next it will be YOU they remove. We can only hope! First random events and then certain section of the runescape population that everyone is sick of hearing. Ban them and by one and the game is going to skyrocket memberships. =D> Evil genius I say! Jagex is evil and is genius! This is pure speculation on a series of events that dont really point to any hard evidence but whatever. All hail jagex! Ban them! Ban them all! With the removing of bh (Its your imagination if you see a big crater in the the wilderness with people pking in it.) its just a matter of time before they remove the - certain population that everyone is sick of hearing - from the game! Genius! There should be a rule against players that are addicted and hump the idea of pking returning as it used to be. Rather than what it now is. :roll: OK! See I do respect people who stand up for things. But c'mon! This is YEARS ago so its utterly garbage. Its like campaigning for women to stay at home working in the kiction when the rest of the country has evolved. However you word it.. Whatever the timing.. Its the same garbage and we sick of it. Accept it and move on. However! If you must! Do it with some dignity and people might listen. I cannot respect a thread written in such a matter thats so biased - attacking jagex - Making up utter rubbish - conspiracy theories. Its spam. Personally I hope they remove it or put pink refugee caterpillars in there removing the pking ability.

Yep Its been done to me before more than once. Was annoying but I overcame it. I cant even remember what it was for but I dont think it was as even serious as this. Could be wrong as I dont remember but that suggests to me it wasnt that bad. Perhaps technical issues which forced them possibly. It has to be done quickly as to not effect people so badly. It is unfair for players to lose items that could quite likely take them alot longer to gain back than what the average person loses from a rollback. The fact is I feel that despite the hit the people who are uneffected suffer. It is fair to those who were effected unaware of the bug to have back what they lost compared to what everyone else gained. This did effect many people wide spread throughout the game. Its justified to give back to those customers what they lost due to this bug imo. The fala massacre thing wasnt justified as it was contained but this is more wide spread and effected all servers. The penguin bug was contained to the players that cheated so wouldnt of been justified. This is certain players hitting other players with a bug which they could not defend themselves from if they did not know about it. That says to me they should of seriously considered the fairness to these customers and then done a rollback for them. Obviously after 24 hours or even 12 hours its too late to do a rollback.

Hmm I find it hard to understand how its fair to lose items due to a bug abuser. A game that has rules creating fairness. This is included for pking. Bug abusing is still against the rules even on pk worlds. If there was a universal bug that caused people in pk worlds to suddenly lose all the items they were holding. Its 'ok' because they knew the risk? The risk of losing items.. ROFL They couldnt possibly know. Yes they knew the risk of normal combat but they couldnt possibly know someone was going to disconnect them. Thats bug abusing and is against the rules. Jagex do not have to do anything but its in their best interest to satisfy their customers. This time they choose not to rollback which I am not really arguing against. Its just my opinion that perhaps they should of. They choose otherwise.

I believe bugs of this magnitude deserve rollbacks within the first 5 hours. Anymore and its too late. Problem with that is if it happens at 3am and the people who make such decisions are probably asleep. I believe it really is down to the top dogs to make such decisions about rollbacks. I personally would rather lose a firecape if I just won one. I wouldnt mind losing 3rd age in a clue. I wouldnt mind alot of things. I rather people who had lost items unfairly got them back. Its one thing for me to get lucky or whatever gaining an item. Its another for others to be losing items unfairly. I rather they had their items back than getting mine tbh. This effected a huge magnitude of players so I feel its justified. It has to be a quick decision though and not leave it too late. Also.. If the staff on duty cannot make such decisions involving rollbacks then perhaps disable the pk worlds etc until they fix it. Any loss at that point would be more acceptable plus bannable. (Such as godwards etc.) If your abusing it their I bet its sure as hell detectable. I personally would be happy losing my items if I knew the person who bugged me was banned for it.

For all of them I put either beginner or easy - Besides slayer and thieving which I put medium. To be fair thieving isnt hard but it is still quite a high requirement to achieve. (80) Both those levels take alot of time to achieve. That farming is easier than the average scaper thinks. Guess being grown up has its advantages in many ways. Lets say someone asks me what im doing after work.. And I know I be playing runescape. I say "I probably play my game for a while." Most people dont really gave a damn what I mean but if they ask I dont have a problem telling them its called runescape. (Or possibly something else) Most the people in my life dont really understand such matters so its easier saying 'game' rather than the name of a game they dont know. No problem telling them though.. I even tell them im ranked within the top 2k players out of 5 million or so. They are always impressed. :lol: Even if they dont understand it I dont mind. Certain conversations are meant for other people who are in the know. Sometimes they know what 'WOW' is so I explain it is a game like wow; except better gameplay and the graphics arnt quite as good. The gameplay beats it hands down though. My girlfriend knows about it but doesnt enjoy rpgs much. My ex used to play this game. I aint really worried what people think as its just one hobby of many.
