Tbh it sounds like an idea that came from getting people to stay/become members. For this 'special' one time reward. That doesnt really effect me but seems likely the reason. Which of course there is no real problem with as they only a business now. Thats if they do member rewards anyway - Which they might not. Besides that I really dont care about Thanksgiving due fact it must only be a yank thing.. Would anyone else really care about an event like that? Wow..er..Lets pretend im an american day! woot.. I rather they stuck to more widely spread calender events.. Halloween was bad enough but atleast others do celebrate it and it is somewhat a 'fun' event so it can be forgiven. (If it was an american game fine but I dont see the point thanksgiving myself.) Other than that - A new year event would be nice, valentine etc. I never liked the holiday events to begin with so im not so excited by this.

Yeh I noticed these daily chores. I try to combine them into a double chore past 12pm. So I just do it twice and can forget about it. I do miscellenia before and after the clock. Bork before and after 12pm when I can. Stars are quite time consuming. That vine I only do after I done bork. I dont bother with buckets or that other stuff. Then of course there are the penguins and tears of guthix.. The stars are the biggest pain if I want to get them done each day. I dont mind so much bork or miscellenia they are quick and easy but it is on my list of things to 'get out of the way' when I login. I dont mind so much missing any of those things besides miscellenia. Bork close second for the charms.

I rarely completely turn it off but switch tab to something else when people start saying nasty things to me. (Ignoring onscreen text) Are you autoing, nerd, no life, sad, etc etc. I rarely reply to rude people and reply to random questions frequently but not always. I only really switch tab when someone gets a bit obsessive insulting me.. or worse when other join in. I cant be bothered to reply to childish stuff like that. In rl they wouldnt dare.. I dont see why I should answer them or pay any attention. Its just annoying sometimes. Most people are nice enough though..

I hope they do and make light sources have a bit more impact on surrounding areas. Imagine having light effects like when you go to tears of guthix in certain areas due to the lights. As an example magical blue torches or something. Not over the top but just to spice things up a bit. It makes clothes look alot nicer. Even just normal orange torches do.. I was impressed by the halloween effect and pretty obvious its a tester. If they intend to add it or not as a night/day time system. See peoples reactions and get feedback. We are beta testing it. Best way when millions people doing it.. There are already 'dark' areas but not like how this works.

Interesting they have admitted its a childs game. Hmm I think they feeling brave with this new game. "deep casual gaming" Whatever the hell is that lol? Is a it a nice way of saying 'Even casual gamers can keep their attention span lasting long enough to finish our games' ??. Tbh FunOrb is meant for mothers with children and people who want a quick easy accessible game at work. Casual gamers buy some shooter and dont want 'deep' gameplay. Which is fine. You cant have both 'deep' and 'casual' combined. I think its aimed at gamers who dont have the money to buy better pcs..mothers..people at work..but then even runescape can handle most poor pcs. So its those who are at work and college etc. Those nerds in the library. Thats all fine and dandy but what is a 'gamer' meant to do. I aint a 'casual gamer' and am over 18. The reason i pick runescape is for the challenge. I find most games very easy. Although technically runescape is also easy it is also very challenging and take alot dedication. Both children and adults alike can join in on this challenge. FunOrb offers neither and is very boring. I tried it for a while and yes quick games can be cool too but I want something a bit more involved. So I pick runescape over even other more up to date games. Probably less skill but then I been there and done that and wanted something different. For me its not even to do with hardware; my machine still runs well for most games.. Cost enough, but I find this game more of a challenge = Fun. Even all the new games are aimed at these casual gamers tbh. I dont think FunOrb is much different to all the new titles coming out besides being browser based. Which as they have admitted works very well for them so the best of luck. I donno why they think everyone 18 really enjoys FunOrb though..Seems no different than runescape. Instead of aiming for children they should never abandoned the more dedicated gamer. Tbh jagex as a company I dont trust much so when they say this new game is aimed at a higher audience - I dont believe them. I still manage to cope in runescape though so it possibly doesnt matter. Possibly it will attract older people but I doubt it be any different than what runescapes population is now. Im pretty sure more women play than that too. If runescape doesnt appeal to women then why do they think a sci-fi game will huh lol.

A fun read. Cant think much to comment on. I dont like range either so dont relate too much. I remember going to lessers and stuff to range. I remember going up wild to kill the greaters but it was melee style.

My first 14m Skill. (Of many) Consider it a milestone. Had edit my own fireworks in. 400k till level 100 and my goal is 15m xp. And ya I know I spelt congratulations wrong; im dyslexic I didnt notice at the time. =D>

Its not really againts the rules to begin with. I dont agree with it but theres nothing againts it. 'Luring' is a player term when it comes to dks right? Because luring really is about luring players - Not npcs. Theres nothing againts luring npcs. They cannot item scam the npcs. No I dont agree with their actions but they need to create a new rule. Nothing we can do about it. As for the reporting itself.. Its irrelevant at this point. Theres nothing to be reported for. To sum this up. Luring 'players' is against the rules. Luring 'npcs' is not.

Oh and for the record. I reckon its your kind of attitude that loses its respect rather than the fact people cheat. I mean if your just 'presuming' everyone cheats. Telling everyone cheats. Then well.. Your the one making it lose respect. A mod will clear this up and tbh I dont care as everyone else can ignore this. This dude has personally accused me of cheating.

Jad is overrated =p First attempt! : I spent about 20 minutes research. Must I stop bragging lol.. :P I just always had that goal except I couldnt be bothered.. Then I suddenly felt like it as I couldnt be bothered to do fishing instead lol! God.. The waves where piss easy but then suddenly jad kinda started owning me. It took me a few attempts to figure out the difference between his attacks.. then it was easy. I must admit that I got lucky once and could of died but didnt.. Im so grateful.. Those waves.. So boring. As soon as I was getting him down to low xp I started getting pretty anxious. Soon as I won my body just kinda started buzzing. Phew.. And I dont care if I wasnt doing it properly this was my first attempt. I tried my best. I read muggies guide for reference but tbh I didnt have a clue once I stepped inside. I couldnt remember much once it began.. But all the same I put some of the thx to muggie as it would of been even more confusing than it was without his guide. Funny thing is.. Well iv always been the skiller; the top dog of all the groups. ;) I have also done all the quests but since I been playing so long I dont consider it much of a accomplishment. I also invest a little but I dislike merchanters. They dont bother me too much (Besides lifting prices then dropping them hard) and I do it a bit myself anyway. Nowadays I dont mind the casual GE merchenter compared to the old style merchenting. Before the GE was when I considered merchenters a pain in the [wagon]. Couldnt buy or sell anything without some wannabe kid merchenter. (Not to mention lurers but im not sure who I considered worse..U know what I mean? The dumbest?) So im glad that is all behind us. I hated spending ages on skills to sell something at a reasonably decent price to have some child cut price in half or something. I have to admit I miss the days when I used to waste their time though.. Making them run around for me then ignoring them. (For the insult they made. For spamming up my limited private messaging space) I also believe there a class you would consider the minigamers? I dont do minigames myself. People who do castlewars and stuff. I dont consider it the same as the pkers. Pkers.. Pkers well.. Pkers lol.. Pkers used to be a joke to me as I rarely went into wild anyway. What I remember about pkers.. *Thinks back* The only time I dealt with pkers was when runecrafting and clue scrolls. Now clue scrolls I went naked so that hardly bothered me. ..Runecrafting they pretty much 99.9999% splashed on me. They had terrible tactics.. Running straight at them confused them. I never got pked not that it wasnt hard to just stand there for like a minute teasing them before continuing my runecrafting. I kinda miss that.. Pkers used to fill that exciting void.. that joke.. I miss that joke.. ..Obviously pkers are a different breed of the game style I play. They play for completely different reasons. I personally play a shootemup if I want to pk.. I wouldnt bother with runescape. Stakers.. I miss stakers as I used to skill for them. I never staked but I know they a special breed of their own. The rich boys. Once staking left the rares broke. The GE simply hammered the last nail in. That part of the game will never come back.. Even if pking does.. Staking will never. I miss stakers as I used to make [cabbage] for them which helped my skilling. That was the BEST days of my gameplay as I used to enjoy smithing alot. Its not as bad for me then if I was a staker though.. and it wasnt as bad as the effect it had on the rest of the game besides and including skilling. Overall your right we need eachover. Your so correct that thats why this game has gone down hill. Since it was necessary to cripple pking and completely remove staking the game has been crippled. It was a perfect harmony that got its knee caps shot off. I totally agree with what your saying. Unfortunately the current state of the game continues to struggle on and just about keeps itself afloat. Using its arms to hold itself up - Blood gushing out of its knee joints/whatever - Hooked up to a continue supply of blood donaters. (Us) To keep it alive. With the update to pking that will patch up one leg but without staking there will be a continued fatal wound imo. I think (Not that I care as I dont pk) that pking should improve the game dramatically when that part of the 'triangle' (Odd shape triangle) returns. Then the game can stand on its one leg and hop around. edit: Oops I forgot to mention the combat chumps. I dont like combat although I have very slowly trained it over the years. I consider combat chumps to be mainly the rude adolescent [bleep]weeds that need to get laid. Besides that they dont bother me as I rarely train combat. They always buy [cabbage] so I am glad they exist. Oddly enough.. Once 'I' got high combat I found that high combat nerds didnt seem to bother me as much? They stopped stealing my spots? I rarely had anyone lower than me bother me especially.. The higher combat I got the more this group expanded. Training combat recently I had no mentionable hassle. I dont do godwards though and I hear that is pretty rough going.. Thats why I am the skiller. Its mostly much more peaceful. That and the fact I could play shootemup/fighting game if I wanted to train combat. I dont class myself as a combat person but I am 100% that if my combat was level 80 or so and I would encounter alot ALOT of hassle. Thats why I have low respect for combat chumps. They are required of course! Very important.. but I have little respect for em. Especially since they all seem to be about 15 years old or so. (Not that its the age itself thats the problem its just their maturity.) Of course I know many many polite players! Just the majority aint. I wouldnt label combat people as all being rude but its a good 'guess' is all I am saying.

I think my last screen shot was probably to do with mining - Thx for gratz. That was a toughy. My accomplishment. I wasnt that bothered by this level as my goal is 127 combat with 92 str, 86 slayer, 94 hp, 82 summoning - but the fireworks sure liked it. One of my clues from one of my tasks gave me some robins boots too. The party room of all places =p ..Only time I ever got anything there.

Increasing the level cap is just stupid but upgrading the skills is long over due. I would much prefer to have the skills updated there are so many ways without overpowering things. Its simple the person with the skill can either (or both) only create items for themselves (Cannot assist you need the stat level yourself) with the skill level or they can make items that are ONLY available from the skill instead of drops. It doesnt even have to be stat boosting it can just be visual. They need to do that and make higher level stuff to make higher levels worth it. New skills are nice too but I rather they finished old ones.

I liked the first paragraph. (After the intro 'greetings' thing) The article taught me that the cave where jellies live looks like a fish. Except its probably changed now. I think something about granite might be interesting. Theres also that other release.. clan wars or something? I forget.. =p

Maybe this year they let us put it indoors =p Maybe this year we get a roast dinner as a picnic. Dont we all just love when we were a kid waking up christmas morning, running down stairs in our pyjamas.. Running outside into the freezing snow to count our prezzies! I remember every christmas morning sitting the garden with my family. It was against the law to put it indoors for some odd reason.

So an idea is for summoners to use chisels during their run to obelisk. It doesnt sound practical but its something I would test if I was donig it. Except I dont have any plans to do it. Too time consuming for miners when their xp is already slow. I wont be cutting the granite down myself I rather not bother. The 500g supply will dry up once figure realise how dum it is to cut it when you could just sell it... (And obviously when the price is lower people wont be selling so hard.) There are better ways to make money than mining granite than cutting it lol. I rather just drop it.. =S
