Summoners should be the people to cut the granite. The miners should just mine it (The 5kg blocks) The prices are linked so its not like we should be forced to cut it. ;) If summoners want it they can do it themselves ha. Btw I will also be training summoning at some point or other but why should miners cut it when theres no xp involved. Its summoners choice how they train summoning. Its still cheaper for them!! and me when I train it. The granite change is very interesting. Im not sure I want to cut it.. (I just finished cutting 1k - 5kg granite blocks. It takes quite a long time for no xp!) I wont bother picking up 500g blocks because they be only worth about 200gp or whatever. Even the 10 piece block wont be worth as much but of course nice profit if its sell able just as itself. If I can sell the 5kg then thats fine but if not...? I might not bother picking it up at all. Which means others might do the same as me and not bother. Interesting how this will turn out tbh. Where the prices stabilise. Its a hard decision to make if its worth cutting them or not and having to drop =S If summoners want to cut it themselves for the cheaper price then we all happy though.

Dont worry jagex dont control prices. I put these offers in minutes after system update then few hours later it was like this... Unless im mistaken that does seem like a rather large price jump? They obviously been adjusted after the update itself GRRR. Roughly 500g = 1 block (1k) 2kg = 4 blocks (4k) and 5kg = 10 blocks (10k) Nevermind I did manage to get some.. HA. Maybe they didnt realise they were too cheap. I shaw post a screeny of 98 mining soon. \ And watch the prices plummet. Perhaps this means I wont have to bother cutting them. Since the prices now linked.. 500g will be the same as the bigger blocks. *Summoners moan* *Miners cheer* I mean.. whos job IS it to cut them lol! I dont wanna..

Well its obviously to make them look good. -Removing rants- But otherwise its kinda annoying for both jagex and players trying to find rant or compliment type threads. Compliments will not only be hard to find but unless they increase the 50 pages then well.. They wont last very long compared to rants tbh.

The green team which I was in won about 6 games in a row full marks so at like 7th game when we were obviously starting to win each game again (about 4th alter?) everyone on the yellow left besides one person. We let that person win one game out of curtesy. So yes I think if its 4v1 especially its polite to give them a few more points. Its just dum that it was infact 3v4 (outnumbered) to begin with that actual game... -_- Numbers, acting like a jerk and wearing yellow doesnt always work ;) A few other games when it was 4v1 or 3v1 I wanted to let that one person win a game but I couldnt always get my team to stop. Fare enough.. They just want the points. (I switched world after, I wonder how well the continued to win on the green team.) I dont think its our responsibility to do this though its up to jagex to make it more balanced.

I think theres a big difference between the days when PC gave tons of xp and chinning at ape atol or whatever. The xp was TOO good due to the nature of the skill. The difference then was there was barely any maxed out combat characters. Those generally who were high combat had the high stats. No before I get those people saying bla bla I had high combat with low stats.. good for you.. but dont argue with the fact the majority DID have high stats and you KNEW you could look up to them. They were mature etc. Pc changed that.. it made alot of people angry because suddenly those who they respected became right childish gits. Everywhere you went you saw a maxed out combat character who wernt very mature for their age. Now certain things like the cooking skill, some people are pissed off because they did it the harder way. They 'didnt have the choice' about the cook-x option. Now personally I didnt have 99 cooking before cook-x, I still dont.. I think I can understand why it must be frustrating though. I think its easier for anyone who didnt achieve 99 cooking before cook-x to just flame those who hate the cooking skill without thinking about their reasons. Anyone else is an jealous idiot though. Things like chinning imo are great examples of using your brain. Its not like cook-x at all.. its simply a new weapon that makes things better for the skill. You can choose to use it at the 'cost' of the chins or continue to range some other way. It 'costs' money to chin so its hardly an 'easy' choice for most people. I think anyone who hates chinning is a die hard ranger, poor, doesnt know how to chin, or some other random reason I cant think of. As for the the original post.. Since the release of summoning granite mining has changed. It is now both fast xp and good money. Its one of the main secondary items for summoning so its great money mining granite 500g aswell as fast xp. Use a camulet or the scepter to tele there, teleport to castlewars to bank, use a beast of burden to carry items. Use the tiara to protect from dying of thirst. Use the achievement armor for the chance of mining more than one ore, use the advanced desert bottoms to protect from the heat etc etc. Good money and fast xp.

I liked this game. Im not a fan of minigames so I wont continue to play it but I already got a full set of green and the staff plus 40ish astral teles. Anyway, I think that game would be better when its a good team vs a good team. Most the games I experienced at first seemed to be many people a bit thick on both sides. Im not bragging.. I know my rc leveled helped my team out alot, but whatever team I was on nearly always won. Why? Probably because I was one of the few people DOING anything. I finally found some decent players who always joined the green team like I did. Made it garenteed 20 - 7ish score. Even when out numbered by one or two people. (Yes the arrogant yellow teams kept losing because they thought "haha yellow never lose" (2vs4 -_-)) I think this game could be better when theres 'two' teams on both sides playing against eachover. Its certainly unfair alot of the time. I found I had to fight certain team mates with the orbs sometimes. Thats just because its a random player who I dont know who doesnt know my strategy though.. It kept messing it up grr =p But a proper team would work. I only had a couple of decent games, some won, some lost, who I managed to play as a team with. (unplanned) They understood how to pull them when I put them in a certain location while I went and got another one. Or vice versa, giving them to me to pull in etc. Certain clever chaps figured out how to position themselves correctly. I think theres alot of room for strategy in this game. Balance is a huge problem with this game at the moment. Why do games start with 2 vs 4? Thats just boring imo. Its possible to win if 2 smart players vs 4 dum players but not when all round everyone knows what their doing. The blocking alone will show the smaller team down alot. I cant be bothered with it anymore though. Done lol.

Latest: I just got omni runestaff Greatest: Smith and sold roughly over 400k rune knifes and cannon balls. Pointless: 85 Hunter Im not about to diss someone elses achievements as what would be the intended purpose; I think the current generation are too obsessed about getting a 99 though. I been playing a long.. long time, yet I havnt achieved a 99 yet. I donno what the rush is. I admit I enjoy rising up the ladder (Highscores) as I am a bit of a geek (Very intelligent) who needs something to distract his mind but I try enjoy the journey. Same concept for real life. Living in the present is very important. Once you have achieved your achievements/an idea of something you desire, you will never satisfy your need to think up new ones. For other peoples achievements I would never diss them but the better it is in my opinion the more praise I will feel for them.

85+ All except summoning. And 125 Combat Bloody servent got over 500k from me.

It will hopefully sell talismans causing their prices to drop. Rune? Well it certainly wont make them more expensive unless it nerfs your ability once you step in the guild.

Im sure this is an amazing book but perhaps they should of thought of an more original title. Such as 'Lord of the Godswords' or something. Faladors betrayal perhaps. Its such a obvious connection with e feist books lol.. :?

Tbh I would of had more fun doing even the boring skill fletching then walking around doing nothing. I would rather go for a run in real life or something instead than walking around in a game. Everyone is different. I can fully understand the reason why you enjoy your style of gameplay but the same thing dont really apply to me. Edit: I forgot to note I am nearly always doing something else during a skill like fletching anyway. Reading a book, looking on web, etc.

Im amazed it takes till Q 2 or 3 of 2009 for them to 'possibly' implement it. Did they just put that on the drawing board that morning. =S If I was a kid I would just create a new account.. use my own card to pay for members. Solved. Most banks give out cards to children I think. Easilly ask someone who does have one either way to pay for me and give them the cash. Dont young people have imaginations.. I could get most things I wanted at whatever age. Parents are just something you bypass altogether...

Well from your example I really guess it depends on what I ate, like onions or something lol. I dont brush after every meal. No.. I bath 6 or 7 days a week but thats like after I done a workout usually and really sweaty so its kinda necessary. I dont like showers and read in the bath so its baths for me. Brushing teeth.. Always been a bit lazy with that in the mornings on weekends tbh. I dont always play this game though.. so not really connected. :^o :P

Whatever the age might be I find most 8-12 year olds more mature than the 13-17 guys and girls in puberty. Thats probably normal though.. 20+ is what I play for.

Level 96 gay swinging dance on depressed looking rocks and 2150 total! When I went back there I first thought those rocks had been mined they look so dark lol.. Then I mined one and it went jet black. One of them lit up (gas thing) and it suddenly looked normal at one point. Anyway im glad I got this it was quite challenging.

Woah, it is a beta, not a full blown unchangable update. They are looking for suggestions and improvements. Start criticising them when they stop the beta testing and haven't fixed it yet. Besides, I use Skype to communicate with others instead of clunky typing messengers (No unfocusing ftw). OMG! WOOOAAH!! I guess my membership fee means I must kiss their [wagon] while I give suggestions. ..Or maybe not. No, I gave a suggestion with a very placid written out post. I advice you dont be so free to flame and kiss a companies [wagon]. Even if you dont pay your parents do..

All I gotta say is my first 98 skill was smithing and I still havnt got around to getting 99 yet. It was like 2 years ago I got like 96 and last year 98 before stakers where removed from the game. Destroying my goal tbh. I managed smith over 400k rune knifes (x5) which was a kinda goal of mine, was going for 500k originally. I know I managed 400k though so I happy with that.... I have to be. I advice you dont train skills for other people. I cant be bothered to get 99 now.. My method is ruined. I trained that for fun mostly.. (Which is gone for me) I had contacts and everything lol! Great fun.. back then. I dont miss the merchanters though, I had to keep my eyes open alot make sure they true stakers. I will get it one day but I prefer 99 mining first. I aint training it yet though.. So whatever.

*Reads about update and halfway through fishing runs to GE* How many.. 10k? 20k? 100k? 200k? decisions decisions.. (Sells em later) :lol: edit: Oh damn!, I forgot about the GE limits lol! (Donno how I forgot about that...) 20k it is... every few whatever hours. :P

This very moment I am not playing in full screen due to the hassle it causes for already said reasons in this thread. Its already proven they just generally dont think what the players want. They dont understand many people cant really use it even if they want to, even though it has uber cool nub pawning graphiz or whatever. Nice graphics jagex but I rarely use them while it keeps taking me out. Its a shame all your hard work goes to waste in 8/10 of my gameplay unless you figure out a solution. There 'reason' needs to be thought about and changed so it works. The thing is.. Full screen is unique in its style. I wouldnt be as' bothered if it was as fancy in the smaller version but it isnt. I cant enjoy the game to its full protential. This is a 'browser' game and I wish, like it or not, to browse or multi task while I play. (That includes! Using a calculator on the pc which is FOR gameplay but considered multi tasking. Talking to people on msn because your ingame is rather lacking.) While maintaining attention to the game... Thats one of the reason I play. Remember what the players want.. Since I cannot do this I simply cannot use full screen which is a real shame. Alot hard work goes to waste for many players I reckon who just wont bother after a couple of weeks, unless possibly its more intense gameplay or such. Its a real waste for the rest of the time we play though.

^ You can enjoy the ingame chat if you want but I prefer something more clever. They really should make a bigger window version, full screen window which wont matter if it loses focus. Yesterday I pressed the calc on my keyboard and I forgot it ganna have to take me out of full screen an that.. Bit silly really. Just needs a full screen window so you can use other windows while you play. They didnt have' to design it the way they did. I would love to enjoy full screen but alot of the time you cant and its more hassle. The layout is alot nicer in full screen though.

Some screenshot tests really and showing game off. I had use something else as I had trouble with full screen. The wires on second pic arnt half bad. This is 4x anti I dont think most people actually use it? Runs smooth enough for me.

This update was quite annoying. I just learnt the most effective spot within the most effective chinning training style. That was a waste of time.. best bit of fun I had in a while too before the graphix update. Learning to optimize the kills and that. Fair play ergh.. Train ages for no advantage woot. Its not a total loss though.. I am glad it wasnt the actual chimps that were nerfed. They could of easilly of done that instead. So we still allowed to use them but at a slower rate. I dont think it was necessary though. The balance was the ability of the player and cost. I dont really want 99 so I aint effected much but it was actually quite fun so thats why its annoying tbh. Wont be as fun in other locations as it was there. Now I got to wait till they are cheaper before I can continue training, not chucking cash away lol.. Another annoyance.

Impressive achievement. I always wanted to do that but never got around to it. Im not doing it now since the summon helms look the same.. I shaw leave the pics there cos its actually best thing I seen in ages. Oh and your link dont work btw.
