I also noticed it all seemed combat and I would say I was a little disappointed except I am used to it by now. 5 years makes you as emotionless as a rock when it comes to being disappointed by lack of skiller updates. I am not saying these updates will be bad. I just wish they updated the skills abit more. =S And to ALL those people who point out skilling updates that had the requirement of 50-70. I.. Its incredible the amount of people who want to flame these threads. I am pretty sure this is a fan forum of runescape yes! This is a discussion and its not completely out the window that it is worthy of discussion imo. Too many threads about the same topic? Either the mods combine them or you create a more worthy discussion! If it was 'wow they will remove runescape next' ok thats bull, but a topic like this is still valid. If you dont agree with it without flaming then dont post in it. What do the mods do anyway, those people who flame are considered trolls. Obviously the creater is only going to defend himself. I personally dont agree with all your speculation but I do agree something big will happen to stop rwt further and is going to happen sooner or later. This 'grave' thing is very suspicious considering the last few updates to stop rwt. ANYTHING with the mention of wild in it should be takin as suspicious considering the last few updates. I think a total change in the way the wild works would help. All we get now is nubs fightin in lvl 3 wild or clan wars. Anything else and all I hear is people raising the point people abuse the system to get kills unfairly. Maybe it would improve the wild if you didnt lose your items to attract people back. The minigames could compensate for this by still allowing people to loot items there. This couldnt actually improve the game! And no I am not a pker so I honestly dont care! I havnt even trained combat in 3 years lol. I just think imo the wild needs a massive change. These two new minigames will provide a place for both ex pkers and ex clan wars to go while the wild itself is completely redone to attract people back while stopping rwt. Its like killing two birds with one stone and if jagex pull this off good for them! They just need to raise the staking cap higher too and many players FUN will not be completely removed from the game.

If someone wanted to build a bypass through your house I bet you would complain. Sure its for the better good of everyone who uses the bypass and the village it is bypassing.. but you sure wouldnt be happy about it. Fact is they removed staking from the game and people have a right to complain about it. If you cared at all about the direction the game is going you would realise they are nuking parts of a game to stop a small group of cheaters at the cost of a large amount of legit paying customers. This is nothing like the bypass example because they COULD of easilly allowed a higher staking cap. This would of stopped rwt and still allowed stakers to stake. Btw I am impressed by the lack of people kissing jagex [wagon] in this thread. I feel sorry for those who dont realise the direction this game is heading. Sooner or later it might just effect you. Even if it doesnt effect you you should sympathy for the players around you it does effect. =/

Sounds like a way to take money out of the game which everyone will try? The more kills you get higher better gravestone you can unlock. Each time you upgrade your gavestone it will cost you more gp but it shows off how good a pker you are to the person who killed you. Meaning how successful they were to kill you in the first place. Otherwise what would be the point? Either its really cheap to buy.. or its ridiculously expensive that it isnt worth it. If it was based on your kill count and success as a pker then it would make more sense. (Please ignore my logic though because jagex never use their updates to full protential. You will only be disappointed. =; ) Like construction though it is probably to remove money from the game. The better pker you are the more money you got the more you can afford to spend on a worthless update.

I reached the front of the queue around 2 hours after the prices updated and been buying for the last 13-15 hours. No one else should of been able to buy them haha. Bought loads when it was cheaper too. \ Why buy them? Because they are so cheap! The price will update tomorrow and I wont be able to update my offer untill later in the day unfortunatly. :cry: I bought alot already though so I aint too bothered. This most fun I had in ages.. buying ashes woot. Herblore here I come!! :thumbsup:

Heh I am very mean then.. I have a very low tolerence for people who dont know how to offer the correct cash. I tele + ignore them without warning if they dont fix the trade promptly. Theres no second chances when your dealing with me im sorry.. I really cant be bothered with your spam! I made me offer clear before the trade began... :shame: They must spam me for ages without me even knowing. \ :XD: I can just imagine them spamming and wasting their time. :shock: Poor Poor merchanters hahaha. I completely agree with everything you said, especially the nuke analogy. This is exactly what happened to stakers, I do not stake, I never would of staked.. but as part of the community I am disgusted they simply nuked the entire point of dueling. =/ I may not duel but it has also effected me due to fact I used to make stakers rune items for them to use. They made BIG money and I was privileged to be a part of that.. I have been slowly raising my skills for years. (I am in no rush for any 99's) I have raised my smithing the way I enjoyed to raise it. I like making stuff and seeing people use what I make. When those new clues scrolls came out it was amazing the demand for hammers was incredible untill they increased (Changed) the monsters available that dropped the items. I loved how my stakers bought from me often or in mass the items they needed. They used the items I created to make alot of money for themselves which I loved and I was happy for them. I enjoyed what I enjoyed and they enjoyed what they enjoyed, it was a perfect harmony. I didnt care how much money I made or whatever I just wanted to know the items I made were being put to good use! I feel so gutted for them that a big part of their enjoyment has been removed as much as I am gutted for myself. =/ What am I meant to smith to 99 in mass that holds up the same enjoyment of seeing my produce being used. =/ ..I am meant to be happy about this? The stakers are meant to be happy about this? ..No..no! As someone who pays themselves and is an adult I do not see a need to be happy and kiss their [wagon] when they do a bad job. There was no reason they had to make such a ridiclously LOW 3k limet. They can stop real world traders and still let legit players continue to stake more moderate sums of money such as 1m an hour perhaps? I can continue to smith to 99 making items people will use. They can stake more moderate sums of money. Everyone is happy and the real world traders have to find a new way to trade. Instead they just nuked it. Taking away alot of enjoyment from people. =/ There was just no need for it... Seriously no need for such a low limet. I sympathise massively for all those legit players who spent time creating specialised characters to stake with. They cannot win this 'war' anyway. I will never again get those pms saying "Thankyou so much, your awesome, I just won 1m" etc. The cries of joys from people actually ENJOYING the game. I dont think I will get any pms sayin "OMG OMG I WON 3K THANKYOU SO MUCH!" :roll: Thats the cost of ONE rune knife. :roll: If they use ONE RUNE KNIFE they must win to brake even. :XD: :roll: I can deal with this myself for the time being but my god they have completely screwed over many players and I do not think that is acceptable behavior if they wish continued success. :notalk: I dont care if it was only 3% of the players effected I am not impressed by their low respect for paying customers over rwt! Obviously some of the prices are wrong and when things change the prices wont be able to change with them.. untill 3 months later that is when it finally does catch up. #-o The main problem I dislike about the exchange is the fact many items sell outside the -/+ 5% range. Items like rune knifes (before duel update) would sell anywhere from 2k-4k. In the exchange it is impossible to sell anywhere but around the 3k mark if it was priced correctly. Presuming people still staked and a demand existed.. the skillers wouldnt be able to sell them at all anymore because the price in the exchange is around the 2k mark while it costs around 2.75kish to make them. =/ Sure people sold them at that price which merchanters btw happilly accepted selling them on for 4kea.. but what the hell are skillers meant to of done? They arnt allowed to sell at a respectable brake even price. Not that any of this is relevant anymore because jagex removed staking! But it effects other items too that have large differences in cost. I mean rune ore and bars had large differences in how much people were willing to pay. Pretending rune ore cost 15k in the exchange, anyone who is wanting to buy at 10k to brake even are simply arnt allowed to do so. Those who is wanting 99 smith and are willing to pay 20kea rune ore are also not allowed. =/ Its too restricted big time. You MUST pay 14.53254342 - 16.3243242 gp if you want ore from the exchange. (Made up example) They are forced to trade outside the exchange making it pointless. Here something I found funny when I was at the exchange. I got alot of junk runes I wish to sell that I truly dont give an [wagon] how much profit I make but wish to get rid of them. In one I had 30k laws that had been sitting there for around 2-3 days. I was changing something at the time and suddenly noticed I was finally selling them! It was like this.. Sold 5k runes Sold 300 runes sold 1 rune sold 2k runes sold 10k runes etc etc It all happened very quickly after 2-3 days of no activity! Obviously I had reached the front of the queue *does a jig* I thought it would be interesting to see how long it would take to start selling the same item at exactly the same price again so I put up another 1k of the runes. It took about another 2-3 days untill they sold rofl. Massive backlog of sellers. :XD: I love the exchange for how much money I am making from my junk and excess items btw! I wont sell too' low but willing little bit of loss to get rid of all this rubbish thats been getting dusty for last few years. :thumbsup:

It takes alot more effort to be a successful skiller than a staker. I dont have a problem with stakers as I respect the way they enjoy the game. Merchanters though I dislike because they constantly spam me with offers rediculousy lower than the price I state. I have to repeat myself again and again merchant after merchant before I get a legit trade. Another problem that I wont blame on all stakers but many DO cheat. I mean alot of the famous stakers have cheated and given a bad impression to others to do the same. :roll: I feel sorry for stakers though.. I would feel horrible if they suddenly took away the main enjoyment I got from the game. =/ I had to trade stakers very often because I used to sell them what they needed. The ones who bought alot or often were generally polite (Meaning older? More mature.) while the ones who bought in low amounts were generally rude to me. (Meaning younger? Less mature.) This is were they get their stereotype from. People think they are rude arrogent sods and most of them are. I got this from my own experience of trading with many many pures. So everyone hates stakers because they are rude pures. Skillers dislike merchanters because they rip them off aswell as making things easier to buy. People think skillers are snobs because they are jealous of our skills. \ Something to add. I have always wanted more updates for skills to improve the game but since stakers have been removed from the game now I pray they leave skills alone! I rather they left them alone rather than remove them from the game too. I am so worried the direction jagex are going, feel so bad for the stakers.. I am in real debate on if I should bother? If they can remove such an old past time like staking then well.. what else might they ruin... I remember few months ago I was getting cold feet with this game untill they started making amazing improvements! Now well.. :ohnoes: I got people in rl begging me for my account if I decide to quit. =/ =/ =/ Hopefully summoning will win back some confidence. Thankyou for the clear information, jagex never really explain the inner working of things. Although alot of the things could be bugs or oversights.

I know about the person who posted a screenshot of the mith interface for smithing but I wanted to show how the rune interface is even more horrible! Anyone starting smithing is going to hate this.. I hope its a bug of some sorts! I dislike the scrollbar.. but its the colouring that is horrendous! This is in low detail but I have heard it is the same in high detail too. This is the first time I have logged in days and was seriously choked when I went to smith some items! I also included the 'make x/make all' options for those interested.

This news interested me. I wonder if I can smith those dragon fire shield thingsy. (Whatever they I forgot) I dont know if you need an anvil to smith them or not and if you do if it will let you or not. I dont smith them because if I bought one myself the value could drop instantly below any profit I could make. Too much hassle with people tryin to scam me I couldnt be bothered. If this update let me though.. I might. Edit: Not just those either but any item that needs an anvil.

I could survive without runescape for those two days. :P Come back once its finished and you wouldnt of even noticed. O:) I rarely had deal with muted people but 8 out of 10 are usually polite with their emotes and make it clear what they want. Hello, bye, sad, gratefull, etc. They bow when they thankyou or give a kiss. They usually kiss me. I would use the same codes but not bother with anything complecated.

Its hard to read these suck up threads without feeling insulted for those who spend ALOT of time trying to improve the game through expression their concerns. While also knowing there are alot of spam threads complaining about mindless things.. you make both sound like whining kids. But I think we can all agree we hate these suck up people worshipping them even more. Those people who dont read rants properly and write complete trash. They never read beyond the title and call everyone a noob. I would pay 50 pounds a month just to play in a server with those other ranters who would also pay 50 pounds a month to escape players who suck up to them. Alot of us spend time trying to improve the game and have to deal with these players who cant even read.. Without people ranting and stepping up we would both be working a coal mine or something in real life. Alot of things are broken in this game and fortunatly there are alot of players that love this game to the point they choose to play while trying to make jagex listen! They want them to listen because they love the game more than those who dont rant. Those who dont rant just quit and offer nothing to the community. Sacrifice nothing. Everyone else who rants is just a moron. Try reading the valid rants and you see people with double your intelligence and love for the game. Got to admit it wouldnt be runescape if we didnt have them. Its kinda flattering in a way. Its wrong but you can always ignore them. I dont consider players that follow me to be 'noobs' exactly. Noobs are players that are more abusive, offending, scamming, lurers, etc. The players that follow you begging are generally just well.. sad imo. They dont listen to my advice. I am a member and they must pay to beg? Their parents pay I mean? huh? Why dont they play the game? They are not necessarily nasty players though. :)

What you say might makes sense but I disagree because, a) I have had the requirements for all quests for.. I do not remember.. but I always had them. I dont remember the last time I had to actually train for a quest. :-k B) I havnt raised my combat in the last 3 years. My combat is 102 and I think that is average combat for questing. c) I was a adult when I began, I am still a adult. -- I think new players who join have got the option to do both the good and bad quests. (bad, bad, good, bad, good, good, bad, good) They leave with the impression that some quests are good and bad. While those who have already completed all the quests only get bad. (bad, bad, bad, good, bad, bad, bad, bad) So we get very tired of them and leave with a bad impression. Quests USED to be kinda good.. but I just find them seriously tedius now. Thats a very sad thing because I used to love them but I just groan when I see quest releases nowadays. (^^That is a perfect example whyVV) Are you kidding me?! That was a 'master' quest?! Wow.. I thought it was a novice quest.. I dont bother checking the requirements or level of difficulty anymore. I dont use guides either.. I dont believe that could of been a master lol. I lost count but I think we might be on runescape 3, 4 or maybe even 5 due to the engine upgrades. Without the upgrades apparently they couldnt release half the updates they are still developing. I dont believe personally a massive engine upgrade to only be a '2.4' version number but thats my opinion. ..I dont believe it is a rule that it must be a graphical update but even if you want to believe that there has' been massive graphical developement since runescape 2. Just look at your screenshots when runescape 2 was released compared to today. My screenys are on a old computer but maybe someone can post.

Yes and No. They seem to be releasing more updates players ask for like the grand exchange, duel thing, while miners for example are pretty much called liers when they point out the skill is broken. People working in jagex can be too stubborn to except certain things dont function the way they are supposed to. I seen on the official forums when jagex mods have the attitude they must be right because they are jagex gods while we peasents must have our facts wrong. :-s The PLAYERS dont know how the game PLAYS. A few testers at jagex know more than a few hundred thousands players. =D> ..Still it doesnt matter because as soon as anyone sees them post they scream like a girl.. #-o Kinda like people suck up to them on these forums. BASIC needs like a way to organise your bank and friends list.

When using dueling rings use all the charges except one. Bank it and get a new dueling out. You can later alch the dueling rings (1) to get fr33 cash. You get 7 teleports with each ring and get some cash from alching them. -- Training agility IS usefull. Not training it is the same as saying dont play runescape.. Training it is usefull because it saves using energy pots while training skills such as runecrafting. Edit: Just buy a keyboard with a calculator shortcut button on it. Or get a keyboard where you can program it in. Its far easier than clicking anything on your computer lol. I got a calculator button on my keyboard and it saves me sooo much time and hassle. :thumbsup:
