  1. Knocked Up - one of the funniest movies I've seen since 40 Year Old Virgin. You know why I enjoyed it so much? The trailer...... Every comedy trailer shows you virtually ALL of the funny bits, so that when you do eventually see it, it's basically 90 mins of deja vu. With Knocked Up, they only show you that one scene in the restaurant. So the rest is completely new and hilarious. 10/10
  2. Here's the IMDB link.... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1060277/ Saw the trailer for this before Transformers
  3. Sunshine... just arrived today :) Can't wait to watch it tonight when I get in from work lol.
  4. Chiodos - There's No Penguins In Alaska
  5. Michael Jackson's videos always blew me away. I remember when Black or White came out. It was the most expensive music video of all time (at that time), and you could tell. Remember the Time, Scream and Thriller were all incredible too.
  6. 1. This is TipIt forums, not Jagex official runescape forums where that rule applies. 2. You are not a moderator. And thanks to everyone else's encouraging comments. I spent some time on the idea and putting the graphics together. :)
  7. Worsening Economy - A Solution? (a work in progress) JUSTIFICATION & EXPLANATION It's becoming clear that the game economy is out of control. The problem is that considerably more money is coming into the game than is leaving it. However, it's the nature of the game for this to happen. Runescape is a world where resources can be created from literally nothing. Be it in the form of monster drops, or resource gathering. I believe the crisis worsening mainly due to the rapid increase in the number of items coming into the game. This problem is being exasperated by the ever increasing number of bots/goldfarmers playing the game. It's very clear that Jagex are NOT winning the battle against bots, regardless of their claims. Yes, they mass ban on a regular basis, and the game is becoming less playable by the ridiculous number of randoms we encounter. For the time being, Jagex are certainly fighting a battle on this front, one I'm sure most of us hope they'll win. Anyway, let's leave the macroer problem firmly in Jagex capable hands and consider an alternative solution. I would like to propose a solution that will permanently remove money from the game and hopefully stablise the game economy to a large extent. The suggestion is simple.... a game lottery. It would be modelled on something similar to the UK national lottery whereby the winnings are somewhat smaller than the actual customer contributions. Essentially, approximately half of the actual ticket sales would be redistributed as winnings while the rest is simply purged/deleted from the game. This lottery has the potential to erase billions of gold from the game each week. HOW IT WORKS Ticket price - 50k Tickets sold : 250,000 Ticket revenue : 12,500,000,000 (12.5 billion) Prize pot : 40-50% (6 billion) Deletion : (6.5 billion) Max Tickets : 30 per player The lottery will be available to both F2P and P2P players. The lottery ticket is bought from a new NPC based in Varrock (easy to access for everyone) PRIZE FUND Prize Breakdown 6 numbers : (33%) - 2 billion (may have more than one winner) 5 numbers : (33%) - 2 billion (likely 100+ winners) 4 numbers : (33%) - 2 billion (likely 1,000+ winners) Prize Breakdown - Alternative Creating a virtual lottery may prove to be a difficult coding challange for the Java based game engine. Should this be the case, Jagex could simply assign a "Ticket Number" ranging from 1 to Whatever, and make random selections from this range of numbers to define winners. 1st Number : Jackpot - 25% (1.5b in this example) 2-11 : 50% (5% each (300m in this example) 12-112 : 25% (0.25% each (15m in this example) ARGUEMENTS * Jagex would likely experiment, but they could increase/reduce ticket prices to encourage sales, or remove even more cash from the game. * Jagex could host more than one lottery per week to increase the money leaving the game * Jagex could reduce the prize fund PROS CONS SUPPORTERS

Slayer lvl 45 is really required for the Slayer Dart spell. Other than that, I think you can manage it.
  9. Woah, that was a lot of movie. I have to confess... I haven't even heard of half of them lol. Oh well, so long as you enjoyed them
  10. Elliot Minor - Jessica
  11. The only way Jagex will disappear is if they become too successful and a larger greedier company buys them out. It's difficult to say what effect this would have on Runescape as their main game. I imagine it would result in a increased subscription prices and less attention paid towards the players and their suggestions. Then eventually, like most games it'll disppear.
  12. I've got five full rows empty yay! BTW, if it wasn't for my PoH costume room though, I probably wouldn't have any space at all.
  13. The tree definately remains (even if you cut it down), so long as you leave the roots intact. The fruit will regrow, and you'll even earn exp for picking those again.
  14. Can't wait for this new album. Foo Fighters have been one of my favourite bands for the last seven years or so... I hope their new album is awesome.
  15. Borne Ultimatium. Fantastic movie. The action was great, but the story was a bit weaker than the previous movies. My only critisism is the annoying camera work. The shaky camera effect has it's place, but it was used throughout the entire movie for every shot... it got a bit annoying after a while. Anyway, 8/10 I recon
  16. Went to see this on Saturday night... it was awesome. I'm told it's based on three books so this should be the last one, but I'm sure they'll make more anyway lol.
  17. Fatboy Slim - Praise You
  18. Ape Atol is definately the best from lvl 70+ like someone already mentioned. However, it's a long road to lvl 99. Max exp there is about 55k exp per hour and that's with lots of energy pots. So it would take about 200 hours of gameplay to reach lvl 99. I recommend breaking it up a bit, and doing other tasks every few levels.
  19. Letter From Iwo Jima Another fantastic WW2 movie. What I loved most about it was how thoroughly it humanises the "enemy". Through this movie you are awed by the suffering and bravery of the Japanese soldiers. The action was great and the battle history was very accurate. 9/10 for this movie :)
  20. My Chemical Romance - Teenagers
  21. Perhaps they mean leaving yourself logged in whilst you attend to something away from the keyboard. This can be dangerous in a public room such as a class or library, where this time gives someone time change you pass and/or recovery questions. Although 5-10 seconds may be an exageration, they may be hinting at the time it takes a perpared person to access a keylogger and install on your computer whilst you're away. This could conceivably take only a few seconds I suppose.
  22. I think teleporting to a PoH located in Taverly is the fastest way of collecting from there. Ardy is definately the closest, and is great just after an update (when it has full stock)
  23. The only dragon weapon that is comparible to the whip, is perhaps the dragon scimitar. The reason? It's good for training strength which you can't do properly with a whip. It almost rivals the whip for speed, and is only slightly weaker. However, most prefer the whip, hence the fact that it costs fifteen times as much.
  24. Fatboy Slim - Rockafella Skank
  25. i laughed till a little bit of wee came out. rooneys injury is taking the piss. though saying that, the timing could of been a lot worse Laugh all you want.. I've predicted the last two correctly. Won 80quiz in June when Man U secured it. Didn' win anything the year before with Chelsea, but said from the start they'd win it. Liverpool is due a turn. Been a while since they've won it and I think it's time for them to convert their European successes into some domestic dominance. :)
