  3. This guide details things that can be done after completing the "Dealing With Scarabas" Quest and may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk. -Enchanted Water Tiara- An enchanted water Tiara may be created by using water runes with a water tiara. 3 water runes are required per charge and one charge is used at the same rate as sipping water from a waterskin. -Simon Templeton's Task- After (or even during) the "Dealing with Scarabas" Quest, Simon Templeton will ask you to go and talk to the mommy in the pyrimid plunder minigame about he being able to directly purchase relics from it. The mommy will not like this idea. When you return to Simon Templeton he will tell you that its ok but he will now accept noted pyrimid plunder items that are less than gold (that is ivory, pottery or stone items). In summary... -Talk to Simon Templeton -Talk to the mommy -talk to Simon Templeton again -Reward- Simon Templeton now accept noted ivory, pottery and stone items from the pyrimid plunder minigame. It is probably worth adding this to both the quest guide and the pyrimid plunder guide. -Rope Short Cut- Travel west from the Archiologists camp and climb to low wall to an area with 3 mommy's. By using a rope with the jutting rock a short cut is created that leads down to the agility pyrimid. This short cut is permanent and goes both ways. -Scarabas Note Book- Scarabas Notes can be collected by slaying the monsters around the plateu (skeletons, zombies, mommy's and scarabas minions) When the book is full (22 pages total) it can be handed over to the archiologists for a reward of 10k gp.
  4. Gp, same as he always did. A list of how much each item is worth is in the existing tip.it guide ->HERE<-

  6. Yay for more quests. Hopefully they will have high enough requirments that i actually have to train skills
  7. From what I can gather, most of the game engine updates have been gradually implemented over the past 12months, such as diagonal movment for npc's, inter-npc combat, etc. So with that in mind I don't think there will be to much to upgrade. But it can't be completly ruled out.
  8. I especially agree that christmas wasn't good. You didn't even have to work for your reward.
  9. Just one point that could be my memory playing up just as easily as being a mustake on your part. The section about log-in screen music. As far as i can recall runescape has had music on its log in screen since the change over from classic. What they did add was a mute button that allowed you to turn the music off (although you did need to press it each time you came to a log in screen). I am pretty sure this was added this year or possibly last, as I said my memory plays up, I have been playing so long now updates just seem a blur. With that in mind perhaps that grade needs reconsidering. A great read though, thumbs up and happy new year to you!
  10. Acheivment Diaries. All my goal are based around quests but now that i have the quest cape I didn't really have anything to work towards (except keeping ym skills high enough to finish anyquest at its release). But the hard tasks of acheivment diaries have so good goals for me to work on. I have just finished karamja and am working towards varrock now. 70 farming is a level I wasn't likly to get soon but is now my primary training skill.
  11. I think this is disgusting. Firstly, some idiot kid makes incredibly immature and dangourous claims about suicide. Then mocks Jagex's socially responcible reply. With proof that this is now a joke I think that player should be banned.
  12. I am pretty sure the point of the post was that he didn't beleive and is pointing out why.
  13. doesnt that still cause a price rise because now the crafter has to get that cash back aswell?
  14. In clan wars people still make honour call for using prayer or eating but i still do it.
  15. Talk about sensationalism. I stopped half way through cause it was such rubish. These updates are great, I have been playing clan wars after never doing any PvP and am loving it.
  16. I think if Jagex is going to release many more "game breaking" updates (not something I agree with but it seems to be the brush they are painted with) they will do it next month. They can afford to annoy everyone now because people are far less likly to quit with summoning so close. Then once it has been released everyone will have forgotten why update X ruined runescape for them and things can get back to normal.
  17. Use an item with any table, and it will put it on top of it. They could have logged out. Case closed scooby. Runescape doesn't currently support random spawns. The closest is impling spawns outside of puropuro but even that is pretty predictable.
  18. This is a post I made some months ago regarding how I think summoning may work
  19. This has been less true with the latter skills though. With the exception of normal planks, which are usless after the first few hours of training, con used a whole lot of new items. Slayer, no old items except those required to train combat anyway. Hunter, none of the items people suspected would be useful were. Famring, buckets i think were the only old item used. I suspect summoning won't use any or very few old items and those that it does use will be easy to get so stock piling them will be pointless. Feel free to point out anything I may have missed though and I will ladly concede the point, just don't be a troll.
  20. This is quite an enlitened post and I can definitly see it being the future. People who are saying life will be inconveinient with out trading, I disagree. From what we know of the Grand Exchange trading will become way easier, I know I will never both live trading with someone after they release it.
  21. Ahrims skirt and mage boots from dharoks tomb. Would have returned it but the guy didn't come back.
  22. What about making a lot of 99's a whole lot easier? Fletching? Magic? Range? Thats only really a bad thing if you already have the 99
  23. How so? 1 - buy large quantity of chaos from store quickly and at a set price 2 - sell chaos for tokkul and a quick rate 3 - buy onyx with tokkul 4 - craft fury 5 - ??? 6 - profit
