Money, trying to cash in, and ruin, classic movies with modern interpatations...the ompa-lompas look like gnomes from WoW for crying out loud.

Today I went down to Idlewild Park http://www.idlewild.com/ . It's been a few years since I last went down. Last time was very boring experance for me, I thought this time would be a different experance. Any way, I got to my sister's house at 7:45 AM and pack up to leave. The group that went down was me, my father, my sister, my brother-in-law, my cousin, her husband, and my 2 year old neace. I desided to ride with my father, since gas is getting more expensive, and it'd be a lot cheeper than driving my own car. All in all the trip took 1 hour 45 minutes with no stops...we arive at 10:20 AM. bla bla bla here is the over all view I hold for the park. The good point is it is more geared for children under 12, than adults, the bad thing is, I was again bored. In 4 years they did next to nothing with the park. Over all the park was in OK upkeep, but no real effort was made by maintance to make the place look good (rotting railing, no paint in 20 years, e.t.c.) The first ride I got on broke down, and me and 20 others were stuck in the dark for 15 mins or so. Some of the rides I do not thinck are very stable. The rides in general are older rides, very little new stuff has been added. (New attraction this year wasn't very good)...most of the rides you can find at a fair or carnevil. The design of the park has a small illusuin of being packed, with lots to do...reality is it is an illusion. Empty buildings, and shops are what mainly fill int he gaps, and give the park it's "large" look. Very few rides, spred out all over the park. The swimming area needs to be expanded big time, it was way over crowded (Soak Zone) I had no room to swim in the pool, and the lines to ride the water slides were very long. Admission prise was raised not to long ago. It was $12 USD...it's now $24 USD....sorry but the price is way over inflated, the park in my opinion is worth about a $10 USD and nothing more. The food was ok, but over priced (I spent $40 USD on food and drinks). I question if some of the food shops would pass a health inspection though. All in all, If you live in PA, my advice is drive the extra distance to Kennywood http://www.idlewild.com/ is not worth the price you pay to get in.

I'm thinking about getting a second life account (no real estate ;) ) sometime in a few years (if it's still around -.- ) to try and see if it could be used for a bit of profit... It seems sort of like this activeworlds, correct me if I'm wrong second life is a lot more expensive than AW, you need a good internet connection. SL also requires you to know a lot of programming language, and you better be good at vector 3d-modeling. AW is a lot easier for me.

yes..you can build a lot of differetn things there. Youy can look around for free, and see for your self. there is some realy good builders otu there.

(like AWschool) Most students I run into are fine, and learn normally, and than there is those ones that just don't get it. Here as an actuall chat log, with names changed.

winamp reports every thing you listen to back to HQ...so it is basically spuware. for computer video-auto I use windows media player. for RL video-auto I use My DVD player (eather the one hooked up to my TV, or the one in my computer depending on my mood)

I wonder how many different ways these posts are being read.....I remember a few debates we hade on pronounseation (dialects) .... and how many different forms of "English" there are. as far as non-english speakers, I do nopt deal with them that often...but when that happens, I usually slow down, and do not use slang.
