  1. I spent a couple hours coming up with this chart to figure out compound interest on investments. I did it, due to so many sources misconstruing facts and figures to match their own agendas. I just wanted something true, and unbiased. CLICK Here To View The Chart What do you think of it? I do apologize that I could not format it better.

    Tourists

Being able to communicate is a good start ... also I hope they do not treat every one like their servants.....sadly I've ran into this before
  3. I would think "self guided" tours would be a heck of a lot cheaper. That works out to $1,000 USD a day $6600 USD round trip airfare + hotel room in a decent hotel from Expedia ( New Zealand to a city in Nepal China and back ) Ever thought to go here? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JM_SbAs5lxE
  4. Here is an official release of a very handy tool that, in my opinion, is a lot better to use than Hijack This for exploring processes. It's for Windows, and is called Process Explorer , and is released by Microsoft. What makes it better? Not only can you look at all active processes, you can see EVERY .dll, and program that calls on that process, even hooks attacked to it. If you do not know what something is, right click it, and do an internet search ( built in ). I do recommend setting your FireFox to Google search, since yahoo, MSN and the like are have VERY inaccurate searches. ( in the address bar type in "about:config" than look for "browser.search.defaultenginename" ) Personally, this little tool has located a few memory hog and problemed programs that have attached themselves to some of my processes, and made my life a bit easier. Have fun
  5. Just 1 pic? How about an entire website full  http://www.asylum.com/gallery/ink-that-stinks/481212/ Some of those "bad" tats are quite good ... one persons opinion means nothing, if the owner of the tat likes it.
  6. A tattoo is a scar with ink in it. What's wrong with that? As long as you make sure it doesn't infect and avoid the other risks, you're good. Don't ask me why I don't start cutting my arm to get cool scars, scars aren't cool. And by the way, to post an image, go to http://tinypic.com/ , choose your file, hit "upload now!" and copy the text in the second yellow box, and paste it in your post. It's called scarification, and some of the scarring artists out there are really good http://www.scarabbodyarts.com/pictures/cutting.jpg http://www.bmezine.com/scar/bme-scar.html
  7. Things like this happened many times in my town, over parking violations. The police station bought a change counting machine, and now no one bothers with pennies.
  8. The English lexicon has over 960,000 official words in it ( worlds record ), and is the most complex language in the world to become literate in ( English, also holds the record as the most grammatically complex language ). Try figuring out this proper sentence: "The child the parents had had had had had no breakfast." There is way too many adjectives, adverbs, and adjuncts as it is, adding more is pointless. Another gem: "Consequences of Erudite Vernacular Utilized Irrespective of Necessity"
  9. White LED costs $0.05 - $0.10 USD each ... not that much difference. And normal bulbs burn an off white / brownish color. Where do normal light bulbs cost $5 USD each ?! ... Here a bulb averages $0.35 USD each, and name brand goes for around $0.65 USD each.
  10. Mickel Jorden, Tiger Woods, Michael Phelps, Michael & Janet Jackson ... plus TONS more movie and sports stars were groomed from a VERY early age by their parents to be what they are so well known for today. From what I read if the parents starts before the age of 4 training their kids for a certain "path" to follow, the chances are the kid will grow up doing it, and being famous for it.
  11. It seems every were I go,stores are charging ungodly amounts for energy efficient items. $15 - $85 USD for a led light bulb. http://www.bulborama.com/store/LED-Light-Bulbs-c102/?gclid=CJ7v8ZrQ_JsCFYZM5QodgyXD_g LED's cost $0.02 - $0.10 USD each. http://ledz.com/?p=z.pricelist.led.diode What justifies the mark up ?! It can NOT cost that much to put one together, considering all the more complex cheap electronics out there. :wall:
  12. She is a figure head of an outdated system of Government. Problem is she has the power to seize any land in England, void any law, and a few other powers she still has.

    Homework

Just wait until you get to college ... There is a LOT more work, and most of it you have to do on your own. If you don't get into good study habits now, gods help you later in life when you need to learn advanced material .
  14. While the whole world sits by and watches the body bags containing civilians slowly build up? Ingenious idea. It would probably come about much quicker if Israel stopped occupying land never given to them which is rightfully belonging to the Arabians, most notably Palestinians. Read your history books, not watch the TV. Gaza was used as a launching point for 3 wars with Israel before they took it in the 60's.
  15. Imagine if a country next door to you fired 3 missiles a day average at you. Read the back story behind this, before going "Poor Hamas" and siding with the media.
  16. PENNY gun? Seen 2 types, one that shoots railgun style, and the other using air. Not lethal, but cool to use.

    AHHHHHHHHH!

Drank 6 redbulls at once .... felt sick for 2 days after words.
  18. Cool, lets see what happens.
  19. *yawn* Why not worry more about troops getting killed by roadside bombs, than puppies. Yes it's "mean" to toss it off a cliff, but at least it wasn't tortured to death.
  20. I installed it any way and the required codecs crash my video editors. Here's a Screen Shot
  21. If I read the guide correctly, to use this I have to break down the .flv into .flv1 with a .avi shell, and a .mp3 with 1 program. With a second program convert the .avi shell to an actual natural .avi And with a 3rd program, combine the video, and auto into 1. Now to do this I have to install .net 2.0 , and the codecs for .flv1 and .flv4, plus the 3 part program. AM I missing something, or just very confused? I liked the one pay program I used that converted in 1 step, no extra stuff, too bad the trial ran out. =-(
  22. 22 hours, 30 minutes no sleep, and still looking for a converter. It's interesting to assume I have a direct URL for the files..I do not, and thus vdownloader doesn't do much.
  23. * Task #1 - edit .flv movie files (join, split, add content & audio) * Task #2 - convert to .wmv or .avi after they are edited I looked and looked for a free .flv editor and ran into a brick wall, so I decided the best rout was convert the .flv to .wmv , than edit, since I all ready had a good enough program (windows movie maker) I have so far downloaded and tried 14 (fourteen) .flv to .wmv converters (including "Super") Of the 14 I tried, 11 had time limits, or had to "buy" something for them to work. (not mentioned on their websites, or in their TOS) 1 of them said they converted, but had no option for .flv to .wmv 1 of them failed to encode .wmv properly and the current one I am using encoded the wrong type of .wmv for windows movie maker to import. "MediaCoder" is it's name. I figured I didn't have the right codecs installed, so I installed the latest .wmv and .wm codecs. Nothing. I installed every single codec for .wmv and .wm format I could find. Nothing. Mind you Windows Media Player has no problems playing the converted movie, it's windows Movie Maker giving me the headache. I banged my head off of the desk a couple times for good measure, and installed the official windows release of Windows Media Encoder, which I am using to convert .wmv to .wmv I can use. This is driving me insane! :wall:
  24. You know how big the image would be? Hehe. From what I can tell it it uses bits type of coding. Can any one find a user's manual for it? I haven't been able to find one =-(
  25. I graduated high school 10 years ago.... I never heard about Sketchup until a few days ago.
