  1. Then I guess the problem lies within your Java ... Try reinstalling again. You cold also try messing with the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del).
  2. Get good equipment: * Fury * Guthans has its uses for those with no Bunyips * Tassets > Verac skirt > Guthans/Dharock/Torag legs > Rune legs * D boots * Bandos body > Torso > Barrows body > Rune body * Zerker ring > Warrior Ring * Barrow gloves (no real substitute here ...) * Rune def > DFS > other shields (except for dragons obviously) Having Slayer rings is a good way of winning time. A nice stock of glories helps you bank faster. Lunar magic can be used to et new tasks from a bank. Aside from that, do a few quests from time to time and try to get Quest cape ...
  3. That person was only looking to get 70 agility. I'm already 75, so this thread isn't the same.
  4. Which courses are best at what levels?
  5. Have you tried the official Runescape client? http://www.runescape.com/kbase/view.ws? ... Wallpapers
  6. 1) Yeah that's probably a good idea. I would've included it when I wrote the guide, but before the leprechaun noting update, inventory space was too limited to bring tele runes. 2) I'm not sure which step you are referring to ... and I doubt i said banked, since you're supposed to stock it in the leprechaun (except when you pass through Gnome Stronghold). 3) Edited 4) I guessed that was implied, but I'll add it later; no time now. (BTW secateur) 5) Phr33 run3s pl0x? 6) I'm aware of that, it's in my to-do list at the top of the thread. Thanks for the feedback.
  7. Yes, that thought occurred to me, but I prefer the Bracelet for these reasons: - You use the Combat bracelet later on in the guide to tele to the Champions Guild - I like the Glory teleports a lot, so I'm used to have a glory as necklace - Switching to Skill Necklace take time and if you forget to switch back, you might have to make a detour via Castle Wars It's technically possible, but the Bracelet requires not equipment switching.
  8. You can also buy 64 Battlestaves from Zaff for 7k each when running to Varrock Tree patch; you need Varrock Armour 3 (market price: 8.4k) - profit: 89k
  9. For duo, hally might have an advantage. But for solo, if you step away, he'll just switch to range or mage ... And you can't pray before he attacks anyway, so it doesn't matter that you have 3 styles to choses from instead of 2. Personally, I use Gs, because I solo and I like it's superior strength.
  10. I thank you for the data, but I'm afraid, I won't be going into detail on the Summoning skill, it's too complicated for a calc. Therefore, I'll just link to some good guides about Summoning and maybe sum up the most used methods of training it.
  11. The Holy Wrench isn't worth it, unless you are sure you can manage which much less prayer (good at safespotting). If you are, replace a pot with a wrench. If you still have pots left, swap the sup restores for prayer pots (they're a little cheaper). Also, how do you die at the 360s? Don't you pray? And if you run out of pots too soon, try to safespot some more, especially against the 180s. Finally, I just wanna add that going to Tormented Demons is a good way of training prayer switching. It forces you to keep a constant eye at their attacks and even their pray. They are harder than Jad, but without the 62 waves.
  12. The allotment patch? Check again, it's in there ... (part 4)
  13. Be careful about using mousekeys, I get tempbanned for 2 weeks for using them.
  14. What would be the best familiar for me to use when using this guide (viewtopic.php?f=103&t=785110 -- melee part)? I got enough gold/green charms for 76 if needed and 2275 crimson + 504 blue. Should I: - Use Golem - Use Granite lobster - Train to 77 and use Talon (sacrificing crimsons)
  15. Try teleing to your house in Taverley, then banking in Edgy with Glory/Castle Wars with Duelling ring when done. It's probably faster than baloons.
  16. I was going to add Diversions and Distractions in the long guide, but unfortunately I won't have time for it until 31th August as I have exams prepare... The lunar magic isn't as simple though ... Here are the disadvantages of using Lunar : * It has higher requirements (92 Magic if you want to use Trollheim tele) * It is probably faster to do a run with Normal than a trip with Lunar * The Lunar teles are limited and a lot of them are useless for Farming * The few usefull teles Lunar offers are easily replaced (Catherby -> Camelot, Fishing Guild -> Combat Brace) * You lose Trollheim tele (no house portal or tab) and you'll need Spellbook Swap to be able to use it. * Fertile soil actually costs more than using a normal supercompost [707 < (3*109 + 2*235)] * Lunar will have to have entirely different inventories and might even ask for a completely new route Here are advantages it has over Normal: * You'll get Magic exp for using Fertile soil * If you use Lunar a lot for other things (like Slayer or Runecrafting for me), you won't have to switch to Normal each day and back It seems to me that the answer is rather obvious ...Don't get me wrong: I'd love to include Lunar, but for the moment I don't have time for it. My advise: get about 20 enchanted lyres and just do the switch
  17. Again, if you want to do multiple runs a day, that's fine; but this guide discusses using all patches, once a day... Trees take a max of 460 minutes to grow (that's 7.6 hours) and a cycle takes 5 minutes. So, for this guide, supercompost isn't needed for trees. BTW, things I'll add very soon: - New Limpwurt patch in wildy (fastest tele: Clan Wars) - Bringing Falador shield will increase the exp at the Falador/Draynor patches.
  18. Trees take about 14 hours to grow. I suggest you do one trip each day. So, it can miss about 20 cycles for all I care ...
  19. I was fletching broad bolts: 8 55 2 55 and repeat. I know it looks like macroing, but it's definitely not, well at least i thought so ... I explained what I was doing and I still remained banned, so that means it is against the rules; not just what I was doing, anything with mousekeys. BTW, you sentence isn't correct; IRL = In Real Life (the "in" is not needed) Also, computer is all I care about and I have to spend 3/4 of summer studying. Jagex pretty much ruined my vacation...
  20. I suggest you delete this guide. I've been temp banned for 2 weeks because of mousekeys, thereby taking away the only week of playing I had left all summer! If you don't want to get banned, don't use mousekeys. Thanks, wakka, without you my summer could never have been so messed up! Account management screen: http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/6470/banb.png [hide=My appeal]Dear Jagex, I think you might have made a mistake when banning my account (De_Lille_D). I'm guessing you detected unusual mouse behavior while I was going for 99 Fletching. However, I wasn't using a macro, I was using my numberkeys to control my mouse. I can't think of anything that would look like macroing except the mousekeys... As far as I know, this isn't against the rules (after all, everyone have access to mousekeys and they are used by a lot of players); if it is, I'm sorry, I didn't know. I can assure you that I never used a macro and that I never will. I hope you understand and will see that my unusual mouse behavior wasn't caused by third-party software. Please unban my account as soon as possible, because I only have 1 more week before I resume studying for my exams. Thank you, De_Lille_D[/hide] [hide=Their response]Thank you for sending in your offence appeal - you obviously care about your account, and making sure that you read our rules can help to ensure that you can avoid this situation happening again. Sincerely, Jagex Customer Support[/hide] "please don't spoil the experience of your fellow gamers"?? What about "please don't ruin my vacation"?!
  21. Mostly noted/stackable stuff. You could also pick up water runes (they drop 97 sometimes, but usually 1). If you pick up mith bolts or mith arrows, equip them (extra inventory spot ftw). If you're inventory is full, use the price checker to see which item is worth less and drop that one.
  22. Yeah 140k is also with switching weapons when they are on low hp and using a combat familiar. I've decided to do the zombie monkeys with dharok when my main gets untemp-banned (they thought i was using a macro -.-).
  23. I'm already at 140k per hour with dharock zombie monkeys, so anything under that isn't interesting for me.
