  1. Why no food? Wouldn't I die? No; the monsters in PC half of time arent attacking you and the other half, they dont hit high enough to make a difference. If you have 43 prayer, it's an advantage if you get one of the lvl 159s on you. But no. Don't bring food.
  2. You have to have started Ghosts Ahoy to be able to get into the city. Of course, you have to have done Priest in Peril to get into Morytania, so... Yes.
  3. Try going to world 1 or 3, where there will be a bunch of ppl training on wizards. That elminates the danger there. Then recite the incantation. Using silverlight, attack the demon. He has 7 hp. If I recall correctly, I 1-hit him.
  4. In the crypts (not tunnels), can you safely mage the melee brothers over their coffins? The barrows guide on the main site indicates that the mage and range brothers can get you from over the width of the coffin but not the length. As you can see from my sig, I can't use slayer dart there yet, but I'm almost there, and am formulating an attack plan.
  5. Use magic. He won't leave the bridge, so standing on the hill right in front of him works. Use any bolt and it should take you about 100 casts. And make sure he i killed by excalibur.
  6. You could try buying gold ores from power miners (if indeed anyone powermines gold) and then smelt and sell for the same amount of money.
  7. Well, think about it... Over the next few years, more and more ppl are going to play RS. Meaning more competition for the set number of santas in the game. And you ever see all those ppl in camelot high-alching over and over? They're generating more gp than construction can take out of the economy. Yes, the price will continue to rise. So if you have enough money, go ahead and buy one. And if you don't sell it for as much as you bought it for, sue me.
  8. Let's see... 10k times 7-10 = 70-100k, I believe. And they sell for anywhere from 5-10gp each. Maybe it's 12. Can't remember.
  9. We all know that minigames are some of the most entertaining and certainly least mind-numbing activities on RS. But some of the minigames that have been released have been, well... less than fantastic. Sure, they were really fun for about a week after they came out, but after that the popularity kind of dropped off. Take "Splitbark Armour" for example (sorry about not finding a name, that's just what was on the main site). I was recently attempting to complete "Shades of Mort'ton" and needed to rebuild the temple. Well guess what: nobody there. So I thought, "It's no big deal, there are only 1,200 people on this world anyways." I go to world 2. NOBODY. Now, I'm sure that it was extremely fun to make splitbark armour for a few days after it came out, being the best mage armour at the time. But nobody seems to want to do that anymore. The point I'm trying to make is that I feel that BA is going to be the same way. This weekend, you couldn't find anybody at CW or PC -- but you couldn't find where you were in room I of BA. So how long will it go? How long will it take for everyone to decide that repeatedly performing impossible tasks like luring insane aliens to spinning blades with TOFU, for crying out loud, is boring? Perhaps, like PC, the rewards are great enough at BA to keep people playing in hopes of winning a dragon chain in a wager. Or perhaps, once everybody in the game has those penance gloves that take an extra 3kg (I think) off your load, they'll quit and go back to PC. We'll see. Feel free to discuss this topic and post your own opinions on it. Flame me if you want, but be warned that I probably won't look at the replies anyways.
  10. Actually the kill count in the 3rd movie is almost 3:1, gondorian soldiers killed to mordor soldiers killed. Kinda embarassing, isn't it?
  11. Often you can find some lower-leveled ppl who will be happy to take all your unwanted ore. I trained from 55 to 60 in Rimmington mine. Took about 4 days. So if you want to do all the math, take the exp gained per day for me then find out how much exp you need for your goal. Use a simple ratio to find out how long it'll take. In other words: my exp gained/4 days = exp per day. Then take your total exp needed divided by my exp per day to find out how long it's gonna take. Good luck![/u]
  12. 1 shark. Course, that pales in comparison to all these other posts.
  13. I think when Jagex released the onyx jewellery, they said that the ring of stone would have some powers later on; I know this only because somebody went back and found that article and quoted it on these forums a few weeks ago.
  14. Dharok armour is pretty good for training, as long as you know how to effectively train with it. I'm not going to tell you how, since I know it's on the main site somewhere, but just make sure you find a monster that has a low max hit (8 or 9 is ideal) and high hp (to make all that damage worthwhile). Don't know the particulars on elves, but they seem pretty good. And ahrims is the best mage armour in the game; it depends on how much you plan on using mage against npc's (imo, ahrims is the best possible armour for barrows runs, while using slayer dart).
  15. Try bowstrings. Buy for 175 or so at world 2 seers spinning wheel. Then find ppl on forums to sell to for 200ea. It's a little slow at first, but once you get about 750k you can acquire money really fast.
  16. Meh, charcoal is 1 of those items that are tradeable in f2p but praactically useless everywhere. I think its used in herblore at some point.
  17. I think it's around the odds of getting a barrows item if you kill all 6 brothers. But I could be wrong.
  18. 1. They give all gems except dragonstone and onyx; 2. If you get the higher lvl gems, then you can make decent cash (but not an exceptional amount) 3. If I could make it, I would give you some for free, but as you can see from my sig... And I'm about to do the quest at 77 combat, if that helps.
  19. overcrowded bank
  20. You find a glitch in the game which allows you to take CW stuff out of the minigame. Not realizing the game was over, you drop an explosive potion.
  21. magic shortbow
  22. Banned for writing a guide and not getting it unfairly locked (like mine).
  23. Excellent guide, I've been looking for a way to get just to lvl 38, and now I have it. A couple of pics (maybe maps?) will complete this guide. 9/10 -- you certainly know what you're talking about.
