  1. A good idea, but for one problem. There would be thousands upon thousands of people in the waiting list. I mean, on an average Saturday afternoon, worlds 2,6, and 9 are all full all day. If there are enough people online that world 1 is full, chances are pretty good that there's another world (possibly 3) that has some space but still contains a lot of people. You'll get the same sale.
  2. Jagex had absolutely no intention of creating a way for players to make a pure and therefore gain the advantage in the wild. I don't think they're going to introduce an update that will give pures an even greater advantage. And besides, have you counted the number of f2p (since the vast majority of p2p's don't want low skills) updates in the last few months? Christmas excluded, I think the grand total is zero.
  3. I'd have to say it's the Christmas '06 reindeer hats. I got mine and promptly destroyed it after putting it on.
  4. I support -- but don't have enough space in my sig to put a link!
  5. Good question... What's it do again? (That goes to show how much I used it  )
  6. Why else would you apply a computer program to play RS for you? It takes enough programming skill that nobody would do it for "virtual" money. You'd have to be making real-world gp.
  7. Jagex defines afk as "being on different browser window than RS" (which is what I'm still doing).
  8. This startled me more than just about anything else I've seen in RS. So I'm in Catherby, fishing, and everybody starts talking about how old they are and questioning everybody else's age. Jokingly, I say that I should report all of them for asking for personal details. I get an overwhelming response of "reporting's for noobs." One person even goes to the trouble to pm me and say "noob." Could someone please explain to me why reporting is such a bad thing? See, I thought it was good and helped make the RS world a better place for all the honest, rule-abiding players out there (I say this as I'm afk, still fishing). Agree? Disagree? Couldn't care less? Feel free to speak your mind. Please don't move this to Help & Advice; it is meant as a discussion topic and not a query.
  9. That's pretty cool... But in my opinion, a bunch of baloney, professionally speaking. I don't think Jagex arranged the teleport spots to actually point to future updates. First of all, think about it... in all probability, every skill and map area you mentioned will most likely, at some time or other, get an update. So in that light, you're absolutely correct. These maps are definitely a sign of things to come
  10. I can't tell what type of pure it is. If it's ranged, just buy a bunch of arrows (or throwing knives if you decide to go p2p) and range lessers. If it's melee, then I can't really help. You could try training prayer....
  11. Thanks for the input, all of you. I think I will try baby blues for a while, and if they're too slow, Burthorpe and get a different task.
  12. I recently received 137 blue dragons as a slayer assignment. I plan on doing it, unless I hear from several people who strongly suggest that I Burthorpe them. All my relevant stats are in my sig; what do you guys think?
  13. I like the idea, it would certainly help slow the autoers. But for all the people who complain about autoers (and I'm not saying this thread is complaining), just find the "report abuse" button. If everybody in the fishing guild were to report all the autoers, Jagex couldn't possibly ignore all those reports. Just keep on hitting that button when you see an autoer. Sooner or later they'll get banned.
  14. Yeah, this can get pretty annoying after a while. I support.
  15. Then you can get gasoline from digging a hole and building a dwarven oil rig. Put the gasoline into cans, go into the wild with a tinderbox. Use Gasoline ->- PKer, then use Tinderbox ->- PKer, BOOM   . *PKer goes up in flames, armour falls out of sky* Smoldering ruin. Overall bad idea, especially the flamethrower. But on the good side, you stretched my inventiveness to come up with that story :D . P.S. Actually, the whole gasoline thing sounds kinda cool....
  16. Alchemy in ancient times was the practice of turning any other metal into gold. If you look at the items database (btw, I LOVE it), the items you can get the most money from, are metal. And if you take a survey, what type of item do people alch most of the time? Metal.
  17. I'm not saying that it's unfair, just that it really doesn't give everyone a chance. And why don't you like the idea? You never said. As for lower levels playing with higher levels... since you are going to have multiple games, why not put in a game where anybody can play (like the CW we have now)?
  18. It would be extremely hard for the programmers to code it, but the end effect would be really cool. I support.
  19. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that, after 16 times of getting Ice Barrage'd to death in CW, I'm ready for the playing field to become a little leveler (if that's even a word). What I mean is, why not divide CW into a few different categories, so that the lvl 23 noobs actually make an impact in the outcome of their games. I got this idea from talking to a friend who plays WoW: the Battlegrounds, a place pretty much like the Fight Pits or CW in RS, are divided into levels, so that anyone who's lvl 50-60 plays together, and the lvl 20-30's play in a separate game. It would be pretty easy to implement this concept in RS. Less than cb lvl 40 would be a group, then 40-60, 60-90, 90+. Nothing major, just allows the players that don't have ancient magicks and dragon armour to play in a game where they don't get 2-hit. The number of players in a game wouldn't decrease too much, as more players could play at the same time, and it would make the game more fun for everybody (except maybe the lvl 110's who enjoy beating people up). Constructive criticism only, please, and if you don't like this idea, take the time to think out your reason.
  20. The area inside the circle is the "woodland." You can see its relation to the Tree Gnome Stronghold.
  21. You're all wrong. Amik Varze is making him up and the Temple Knights are going to turn on everybody (kinda like in Star Wars, when the Senate changed sides :ohnoes: that was the scariest thing I've ever seen).
  22. Skills, I don't really use money all that much. I prefer to get any dragon items and barrows items by actually going out and killing the monsters, not buying the stuff from some pker.
  23. Very nice! However, this belongs in the "Rate This" forums.
  24. According to the Tip.it bestiary (which so far has never been wrong :D ), the lvl 149, 133, and 103 all drop it.
