Went for a practise DK run today with Psi He's awesome, and that cow of his ^.^ Got 5 kills before I ran out of sharks, so we ran out and he loaded me up again, got another 4 before I finished the 250 magic darts I'd brought for practise :) He stayed and tanked for a while.. lucky guy got a d axe about the second-third kill

Yes I've been to CT, I wouldn't give information on it if I hadn't. Since when do they only range? I was entirely sure they both ranged and meleed

CT you will get mauled, guaranteed. You have 5+ on you almost always, both range and melee. Lighthouse is good if you're up for multi Waterbirth dungeon is the best place if you're willing to pay attention imo. Pick a corner on a full-ish world and stay there, they'll respawn fast enough and they become unagressive after a little while. There's also a summoning obelisk, and you can help people out who need to get in deeper to waterbirth. If you try the lvl 90 rangers in the second chamber you're going to use a heck of a lot of ppots, because those guys are incredibly accurate with their range hits. THey do become un-aggressive after about 20 minutes (at 111cb), but even so they're hard to camp.

Thanks wurmy Also thanks for the post leetnoob. Wc is one of the skills that I find relaxing in rs. I've been working on it slowly since I first got level 15 outside lumby.. I think I have 75 or 80 in f2p, but I never seriously trained it until I got to about 95. Bored? Take a nap. No point being bored on this imo So I did a bit of slayer this morning, got this then very soon after, Later that evening, maaad asked to use my gilded altar - so i bought 900 bones to do with him =) Turns out he had a bit of trouble doing all 900, too much clicking :P Still once I was on a roll it wasn't too hard to keep going, so I did the 900 that I bought, and the 200 I had from green drags, then was close enough to 75 that I asked Rose to buy me 320 more so I could get it (wub you rosie, tyvm again!) which brings me to Also turns out photobucket links are case sensitive.. makes it a pain to type out :P Oh - here's my creatively edited 99 wc pic

1/3 down :) Dilemma though. I'm out of monks, so I need to fish some more. I can't be bothered fishing the 2.7k I need atm for 80 fishing though. I could go back to slayering, but don't feel like that atm either. I could get 80 prayer, but that would mean selling my SS - which I don't really want to do until 90 strength. What should I do?

It was f2p, about three years ago, I was a real noob. I was selling 5k rune essence to this guy in varrock west bank, and he pulled the cash at the last second. Feeling so happy I just clicked through the trade, only to be horrified when I found I had nothing for all my hard work. But hey, I'm nothing if not a quick learner I was standing around fally half an hour later on w2 trying to get a good deal on some iron I had mined to try and get some money back, and I met this guy called orbis64. (He later tried to convince me that he had a hot sister who walked around the house naked.. but that's not quite the point, we had a great friendship) He explained what had happened to me, and about an hour later gave me 100k as a loan because we had become good friends at that time. Feeling so smart I ran all the way to varrock, and stood around in that cursed bank Trembling I began saying "Buying rune essence 60gp each" That was the day I scammed the scammer.

Got caught up in my probability rant I forgot to mention that the other articles were excellent. Especially war running, I can see that developing into a weekly feature All those possible paths.. Got me hooked already =) Probably one of the best written Runescape stories I've ever read, especially the way you used the runescape geography as a life size scaled up world, and the believable characters. Excellent work =D>

Actually, the moment you flip it there is no probability to how it will land, the path, spin, and wind will determine where it will land. We just use probability because we can't process these factors to determine how it will land before it does. Also, unless the coin is weighted, that's bs My problem with The Curse of Probabilistic Knowledge is stormveritas didn't show the whole picture. It's correct of course that each monster has a set probability of dropping an item, but probability isn't about individual actions. Probability is about something happening from multiple actions. You're sitting around in the Chaos Tunnels killing Dust Devils. First one down: no chain. Second: no chain. Third: no chain. repeat, etc. The probability of a d chain drop is 1/15000 (I think), and each Dust Devil you kill has that probability. Does the person who kills 30,000 of them, have the same chance of getting a D Chain (or three) the person who kills a hundred on a slayer task. This varies on the game of course, but the whole picture here is that the overall chance of winning is so low that the next roll won't make a difference. If you raise the probability of winning/getting a drop to 30%, suddenly that next kill might just make a difference, maybe that next roll will make a difference.
