There have been a few people saying it's possible to get three pickpockets while they are knocked out. This is not true. I have found that it is possible to physically right click -> pickpocket up to five times per knockout, which will usually make your character do three pickpockets. However, you need to listen to the game sounds, to hear when your character is actually doing the pickpocket - it doesn't match the animation anymore. The third one always happens after the bandit wakes up.

Yes, blackjacking is best to 91 I hate pp.. those snakes are just so irritating. Once you get into a rhythm, you can easily watch movies and such while blackjacking. IRC is a bit hard though :? If you take Enhanced Excalibur, four bunyips or so, and the rest of your invent as wines, you can last for quite a while per trip- using the obelisk next to the pollivneach portal

which is exactly why so many people complain about the reward. Most people look on quests exactly like that, and only do them when they need the reward - rfd or desert treasure being the main examples. I happen to enjoy quests, so it puzzled me when I saw all the people voting for 'rewards' in that poll, but reading these articles showed a different viewpoint. Maybe they're not all just greedy nubs =P

I've never seen calculations to support this, but this is my thinking Your defence stat has no effect on the damage you do, and therefore no effect on training speed (Assuming you have enough defence to camp whatever you're fighting) This leaves Strength and Attack. Attack, or how often you hit, is determined by your own level and the defence of the monster. Strength, or how much you hit, is determined only by your own level. So depending on how high the defence of the NPC you're fighting, there will be a point where it's more efficient to get strength levels than attack levels. So, as explained, the fastest order to train your skills is above. Unfortunately, this means using a slightly worse setup for strength training. For the sake of this, lets say you have an SS (+82 slash, +82 strength). A whip w/ rune defender is the most accurate weapon for damage over time (+101 slash, +87 strength). The difference between these two setups is 19 slash, 5 strength. It will obviously be greater if you are using a dragon scim, or other weapon. In light of the above, in order to be efficient using controlled: The speed gain you get from using a whip on strength has to equal the speed loss you get from having to training defence, and your attack/strength skills in a sub-optimal order.

I like the second article as well. I have a quest cape, and I'm proud of the fact I've done 95% of the quests without a guide (including MEP2 :P), but tipit is like a helpful older brother, or maybe a slightly eccentric uncle.. You can always find the answer. I keep being reminded of this when doing tasks of dusties, for some reason.. Looks like Psi's been at it again, showing off his awesomeness. This time it was 99 crafting \ So. Finally got a hunter level.. which irritates me. I'd been sitting at 117 exp to level for months, only to get it from an invisible experience gain from inspecting the "giant penguin"s footprint.. Still, It's a level nonetheless =) Got defence to 89, only ~160k left now, but I can't be bothered getting that yet. Accounting exam to study for :roll: And a farming level. I think it's going to be at 75 for a while, I can't afford any more trees atm :P

congrats XD The penguin quest isn't really all that hard Can you let me know if you get a decent amount of charms from the rich chests? When summoning came out, that was supposed to be the alternative to killing monsters - thieving them from goblin chests.. but they're ridiculously rare from the easy chests

Do moss giants drop Champion Challenge scrolls? http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=93 I'd much rather kill mossies than hill giants, better drops and less crowded, but the challenge scroll isn't listed in their drops.. Does anyone know for sure that they drop it?

So I got bored today, and since it was a new month (and hence the dialup plan was back to its 50mb limit..) logged on to rs for the first time in about three weeks >.< I was already at ghouls, so I figured I'd just keep smacking them around until 90 defence. Only another 11k kills.. 24k exp off 86 defence, I got this It only took 8335 ghoul kills... Probably a few too many, but it's great to have it =) Took forever. So then I went off to fire giants, and meleed those until Having spent about 4 hours, and used 14% of the monthly allowance, I logged off. Back to uni wireless and study -.-
