I'm from tal shiar, and I'm not fighting for tip.it Not as long as the leaders of these boards (what I consider to be the real tip.it) continue so be as screwed up as they currently are. The entire scene is a constant [bleep]fight amongst those who can't grow up for long enough to be civil and work out there differences. This kind of underhand backstabbing is not bringing the community together, or directing it with coherent leadership. I'll fight with my friends, and I'll wear a green cape, but not for the leadership of this board.

I've said it before, and i'll say it again Awesome guide kent ^.^ It gets better with each read. (But i'm not sure how you got 1.6m/hour for snap farming under tips. 1.6m/h is 2m per her herb round {every 75 minutes}. This is 300 snaps {at 6.65k each}, which is 60 Herbs per patch if you're using all 5 patches. A good friend of mine {99 farm} has a record of 18 from catherby, so I don't think that's going to happen.)

I blessed their grave, but forgot to repot prayer.. Had to cough, I look back and i'm in lumby =( Put it down to first time noobiness I guess. still. =( Oh, and after half hour of getting kc (thankyou to the inconsiderate d*** who was there), I got in and my grave wasn't there. Yet mario was sure he had blessed it, and I hadn't logged out. Sigh

Like NS said, we allow swearing, it happens, you put up with it. But at the same time, allowing it means there's no focus on it, you don't think about it. Not having any rules gives the 'power to the people', and in TSA's case the people use that power very well. We don't insult each other (except when joking), and.. well the only other time I see swearing is the occasional vent at some bad luck ingame. I think we're better off without rules like these. A common sense of decency is much more effective than trying to over-police your loyal clan members.

I'm not saying you're wrong - it's quite obvious that you're correct. I was merely pointing out that it's simply the fact that they're not allowed which stops it being used. They're not used often, so it's not worth bringing the dhide to defend against it. When a mage shows up, they unbalance the melee only war completely. The losing side gripes, the winning side has to concede that they didn't 'fairly' (I use that word hesitantly - what's fair is very subjective to whether you won or lost). And so the next time the losers have a war, they ban the use of blasts. The winners don't use it because they want to claim all the glory possible next time, and not have their victims claim cheating. The cycle repeats. I do not war/pk regularly. My arguments on this topic are merely reasoned, and I don't claim to have *any* expertise. I'm happy to be wrong =P

I'm a little scared Jagex won't put enough worlds out to start off with, or will underestimate the number of players who return to use this. The lag on a popular world at the moment is just tolerable, giving all two thousand players the ability to hack/blast each other wherever they are would make it impossible. The Battle of Baxtorian falls would be glorious. Until half the combatants lagged out.. :uhh:

IMO, to say it's weakness is going a little too far. As far as I can see, the no fire-blast stems from back when it was just common sense not to take a stack of death runes into the wildy. When you're bumming around in your wizard robes, all the opposition melee'rs were going to run straight for the big blue target. That combined with the general lack of high leveled mage pures would have led to said rule being generally accepted. To a degree the same thing applies today. There's no longer a risk of losing your runes and you have much better armour, but there's still a general lack of high leveled mages with combat training. Outnumbered many to one, they don't gain recognition, and the zerg swarm of meleers gets no experience against them. A good mage can destroy rune meleers, whilst a bad mage will simply be a liability to their team. Either way, somebody has a rather good case against them. When you compare this with P2p, it makes much less sense. Clans are generally better organised, and better equipped - physically and mentally. Stormrage is quite right that it's a stupid 'rule', but until the general f2p population learns how to deal with it, I believe you're stuck.

It does look kind of lame, but like most updates we're not forced to do anything, and another minigame's not going to kill anyone. Heck, free experience for finding something that was along your way anyway doesn't sound too bad to me. For those who haven't found a fairy, the circus is south-west of the Seers Bank, on all worlds. The two hour cycle seems to be synchronised on all worlds (within 15 minutes), but the landing places are individual per world. There's also a dedicated forum on RSOF now
