how did u runecraft? w16 airs? or some p2p stuff like abyss or nats... and regarding p2p...the problem is not money. it is the amount of time that i play this game. which is very low. this acct has 1.5 years of playing time. about 1 hr a day. no weekends.. so i would be wasting $5. i am perfectly fine with being f2p and i dont think skilling is necessarily "hard" because what can i compare it to? i have never been p2p so i have never experienced "easy" as most ppl say. but i have considered a month or two of membership...for the summer vacation.

skilling takes effort. dont get me wrong..merchanting also takes time..but skiling is boring. i mean, u know what to expect and it is frustrating... i click on a tree, i get logs... i cook stuff.. i fish stuff... and thru out the skilling process i do not see any profit. i mean sure 1k coal mining is like 180k, but it is tedious. i dont have that much time to play rs. i mean i got tests and homework, so it is pointless for me to skill. I have tried to mine 1k coal before but i get so unenthusiastic and stop after 700 coal. in merchanting, i get big breaks. i mean i browse thru forums and buy stuff, and then go to world 1 to sell em. sometimes, the profit can be 30k, but sometimes it can be 300k. I get satisfaction in merchanting, where as in skilling, it is so hard for me to get motivated. The thing that i am most worried about is wasting time...i mean sure 99 cooking would rock but lets be pragmatic here shall we? what could i do with that? not burn swordies (highest f2p fish)? I could get 66 rc using w16 and emptying out part of the bank but then what? i have to make all that money that i just lost. in merchanting, the profits are ephemeral (hope that is the right word :)) Just a lil tip about merchanting... Dont ever think about it! It comes naturally. The minute you start thinking about whether or not you can sell for much higher price...you have lost. For me, i am just wandering around banks and boom! There is a guy who sells 1k coal for 100k. I immediately jump to him and buy it. And when trying to sell it...I dont care if i make big profit..just that i make profit...

save for a mask eh? well, it is tough...sometimes i am so immersed in merchanting...

About me: Hello people of tipit. I played RS since august of 2005 and I have been playing on and off for quite a bit. In the beginning, all I cared about was getting to next "metal". For example, getting 41 wc for rune axe, 41 mining for rune pic and 40 atk and def for rune armor and weps. At this stage I was pretty much blissfully training my combat as well as some skills. After hitting 40 average in all skills, leveling up got a lot harder. I realized that training skills was boring. I did train my favorite mining skill however. I got mining 60 and realized that the guild was awesome! I got around 300k by mining coal. Then.. :( i got hacked. (fr33 st00f pl0x?) I recovered steadily and realized that my skills were crap. I needed to merchant. Anim7, the ruthless merchant: I started out buying addy plates in champs guild and selling for 1-2k higher to people. That was profitable but so many smithers in the game caused the prices to fall. I then started merchanting coal. That got me back to 400k. It was time for the next phase. Bars: Without steel bars, I would be a poor f2p noob. Steel helped me realize the potential. I bought coal and iron and also mined a little bit and doubled my money. I put it 300k and got 600k. Four big smelting jobs later...I reached my first million. It was alright....No 'M' in the cash pile though..that was frustrating. I never thought I would go past that mark... :o God Armor: One of my smaller goals was to get saradomin armor, the best f2p one. I bought rune g in parts and sold for higher prices. I also merchanted rune h kites till 2million. Then I moved to guthix armor. My best break was buying full set for 1.2mil + full rune and selling it for 1.7 mil. I never went to zammy. I had eenough money for sara. I bought sara and it was just sitting in my bank...I sold sara and bought zammy. I merchanted about 10 sets before reaching 5mil. My next goal was a rare. Rares: I had a bad experience with my first rare. A pumpkin. I bought for 9.08 and had to sell it for 8.75mil :cry: Then i smelted steel bars to get my lost money. After weeks of apprehension i bought a stupid easter egg for 9.06mil. I added 700k to that get a disk. MY LuCKIEST: Someone offered me 10.5 mil for the disk! :D I took the offer and reached 10mil. Now I am on my way to a mask. My first wearable rare....to be. 8-) Achievements so Far After my 10mil debut.... Hows this? I took your advice and reached 11.2mil When I made my first 1 million gp, I was not pleased. The cash pile said 1000k instead of 1M. I then realized that I needed 10Mil for the M in the cash pile. ty kgisme. I will try to complete them. It is just that I cannot play for more than a couple hours straight. So it is hard for me to gain levels. I also have a busy day so basically i have enough time for a few coal loads and a good 5-6k mining xp before i have to log out....

Hello everyone. My rsn is anim7. I have been playing for about 1.7 years. I have never been p2p and I have 945 total levels. My goals: 1000+ total 85 mining - I can powermine for about 2-3 hours which is like 100k xp and then I gotta take a break until the next day..or week. I am only allowed to play when parents are not home and they dont even know I play... I am aiming for completion of the mining goal in about 4 months. 80+ Cooking- I have 78 cooking banked and I plan on reaching 78 by 2 months. Then I am going to buy lobs and cook until 80. 55 Rc - It is quite feasable I think. I have 42 now and I have 44 rc banked. So at 44, i am going to w16 airs. I mine my own ess and buy the other half. So that is 20ea per ess for 10k ess (200k gp). Then I will mine the rest. I will use w16 airs at "open 2k" and so basically it is 2250gp per ess trade for 125 airs. I will sell the airs at 18ea so basically I will break even. Dont flame me by saying ess is 30ea and not 20ea...I buy in low quantities from new players and they will gladly accept 20ea. This goal might be achieved in about 5 months. 80+ wc - I plan to cut willows at draynor this. Expecting about 3 months... 70+fishing - Fly fishing at brb vlg for 2-3 months... My bank- I will post a pic soon. But here is what it consists of: 8.6Mil 3k+ salmon raw 10019 trout raw Some rune weps Arrows and ranging stuff My financial goal would be 20mil or enough for a grn mask. I think that there should not be any one hit lvl in mining. As you gain levels, the chances of one hitting should increase. For example, right now we have one hit mining lvl at around 47-50 mining. I would prolly lose to these guys if their comp was fast enough. It should be changed so that lvl 45 have 50% chance of one hitting. lvl 55 have 60% chance. And so on... lvl 80s should have like 95% chance.

buy yews for 250ea. ppl still think they are cheap. they dont realize that others in world 1,3 pay 330ea for them. sell for at least 320 ea. coal..buy 150, sell 190. buy god armors. sara and zammy are good. buy for 2.3 and 2mil. sell for 2.35 and 2.1 or u could mine 1000 coal, buy 1k coal for 175-180k, buy 1k iron for 100ea and smelt and sell the bars for 2x profit. u could also..buy 40k coal for 6-8mil and mine 20k iron. Then sell the bars for 12 mil.

Saver mostly. But recently that changed. I spend 875k on some fish to get me from 68 to 78 cooking.

at 44, u make 5x airs right? so u get 125 airs per 25 ess and 2k. 125 at 16ea is 2000gp. Sell it in world one for 16 ea and u defenitely break even. Ppl are selling for 20ea, but even at 18ea, people start to buy. Unless u buy ur ess...in which case u are right. i mine my own ess though. Or sometimes, i just get a newb to mine it for 5gp ea. :)

You have not only satiated my undulating desire of slaying these macroers, but you have also brought forth a new way to gaining yew logs. I spend 7-9 logs to get the autoers to the hobgoblins and then gain a full inventory. I love this!!!

On topic: nice guide man. I might use the world 16 thing. Off topic: Dude 175ea for coal?? Ure getting ripped. slightly.. i can sell coal for 190ea and at worst case scenario. 185ea. So try to find a better buyer.

Getting combat is easy be cause ure only 52. So you can easily get 60+ all combat skill cept prayer. Wc is awesome. Cooking is amazing. Mining is very decent. So bank 9.5/10. I would give u 10 if u had a rare. lol jk. no ones perfect. Stats 9/10. Because of those skills with 80. Just one question: Did u sell of ur stuff to get that cash pile to 20m? Because i see that u have like 400 lobs and a couple ores and that is it. Lol. I am fighting constantly to conserve bank space. Keep it up.

ok that is reasonable. but i would think that varrock east would be faster. it is 5-7 steps closer, there are 4 rocks (3 in formation for easy mining). have u tried it?

scavvo's rune store sells rune platelegs, skirt, sword and long. There is no rune full helm in that store. you might wanna edit that. :)
