True, but from what I gather, top players are getting on average 2M xp per day consistantly. That why the 5 year figure that was thrown around earlier in this thread is probably the most likely scenario.

Here are the XP gains from top players in the last 30 days or so. Numbers are rounded to the nearest 10M xp. Skiller : 70M Zarfot : 100M Jdelacroix : 50M Drumgun : 70M Gertjaars : 0M Lan : 70M Erw J : 30M Kingduffy : 20M Elvis : 70M Paperbag : 30M Elias : 50M Telmomarques : 70M Basically, only Zarfot is gaining on Skiller ( Aasiwat ) these days. Assuming an average of 2M a day by any top player, someone should max out within 4 years....

the way prayer is currently trained in F2P, I don't think anyone's gonna achieve that anytime soon....

Paperbag and Elias are battling for rank 10 with paperbag at 1,614B and Elias at 1,613B. The bonus week-end will be very interesting for the top players. I expect a little shuffle in ranks for some players...

Well I pm'ed Lan in-game to ask his opinion on this thread and I guess he was put off by the 41 pages lenght of it. I still hope we'll have insights from him!

We have been very lucky to have the insights of 2 top players now, Drumgun and Aasiwat. It is interesting to know that while we have been discussing Drumgun's progress, we had assumed his ultimate goal was to max out. It's nice to find out our assumptions were misfounded. It's also nice to know what motivates a top player to keep his gameplay on the extreme level. Congratulations are also in order: Drumgun is the first player to 7 and 8 skills at 200M. Unless Jagex removes that cap someday, he will always be engraved in RS history for having achieved that. Seeing as he is still playing at a very intense pace, we can also assume he will be the first to reach 9 and 10 skills also. This is an impressive feat and congrats! Good luck also with IRL stuff, having goals and trying to reach them is the way to go.

I'll do the Tree checking, potion mation and summoning at 1,1 strategy. I will also use all my daily battlestaff to get a lvl in crafting. I expect to get 1 herb lvl, 1 craft lvl, at least 3 summoning lvl.

He only gained 2 lvls so far though...

Update of the top 10 1- Skiller (formerly Aasiwat - 2,21B) : Still training construction mostly these days, he's reached 2,2B and maintains a good lead even though the gap was bigger a couple weeks ago. Coming Milestones: 100M slayer and 200M construction. 2- Zarfot (2,13B) One of the favorites on this thread, Zarfot has taken a break from slayer and fletching to concentrate on dungeon lately. Coming milestones: 200M fletching (6th skill). 3- Jdelacroix (2,09B) : Having finished herblore, construction and firemaking earlier this month, Jdealcroix has been focusing on magic and smithing lately as well as the usual daily farming run . Coming milestones : 2,1B 4- Drumgun (2,02B) : Having reached rank 4 earlier this week, the player with the most skills at 200M has been training farming and dungeoneering lately, he's nowhere near the pace he was earlier this summer. Coming milestones: 100M fletching (9th skills at 100M, which would tie him with Skiller for most). 5- Gertjaars (2,02B) inactive. 6- Lan (1,82B) : Having claimed rank 6 from Erw J 2 weeks ago, he is still training mostly slayer lately he might get a lot of summoning xp during bonus week-end. Coming milestones: 100M defence 7- Erw J (1,81B) : Training solely dungeoneering these days, he should reach 100M WC with collateral XP in the coming week. . Coming milestones: 100M WC, as well as 100M summoning even though nothing indicates he will get it 8- Kingduffy (1,69B) Still going very slowly, nothing interesting to say. Coming milestones: 1,7B! 9- Elvis (formerly Nintendo Swe) - (1,63B) : I have not much info on Elvis except that he gained a lot of XP in the last couple weeks, I will keep a closer eye on him. Coming milestones : 100M attack and 100M WC. 10- Paperbag (1,61B) : He slowed a lot since getting his 6th skills at 200M, Elias should pass him this coming week-end. Coming milestone: 100M farming. Other notable players: Elias (1,61B), Telmomarques (1,56B), Green098 (1,52B), Ox (,151B)

You read the wrong 3 pages. We know this, it has been covered several times. Except that Skiller only has 5 skills at 200m. Drumgun is the one with 8 skills at 200m. Also, Skiller kept his total xp at the java integer for a bit as a joke. Zarfot is gaining rapidly on Skiller, and shows no sign of stopping. This is why people mention him a lot. Ibxtoycat probably read the first 3 pages dated from mid 2009... OT: anyone care to take a guess at how the bonus xp week-end will change the rankings of top players? I expect Lan to gain a lot of Summon and probably herblore XP too during that week end. I also expect no one to gain or lose any ranks inside the top 8, it gets a lot more closer between player outside that top 8. Take in mind that Zarfot and Jdelacroix will not be able to get extreme XP rates in herblore during that week-end as they already have maxed out that skill. Telmomarques is probably gonna try to gain some XP ranks seeing as he is at the max total level and will probably want to hang on rank 1 for a while and Green098 is his nearest competitor. edit @ morningrise I see him log in once in a while, sometimes in classic. He's been inactive since may and has only gained 10M xp in the last 365 days...

Congrats on keeping up with school, I went the same way as you working my butt off and it paid off in the end. You'd be surprised at the amount of feedback I'm getting with my updates on the 200M thread, it's quite popular and appreciated even though it doesn't appeal to everyone. One last thing, calm down mate, it's just an argument on the internet. If you can't take the same criticism you hand out, re-evaluate your career path. Anyway this was going way off topic.

Sorry I forgot how you used that lame excuse to boost your post count. Whatever mate, I know a troll when I see one, wether he's spamming childish posts or whinning about lame teamates that have to log out, when you have done all your mommy's chores for the day so you can spend the next 10 hours MHing or whatever stuff turns you on.
