Very nice chart! I maintain the top 15 on the 200M xp in all skills thread, but putting together a chart of all players with 1B + XP is a great feat. I might use that chart to keep an eye on players near the top 15.

I've been checking Zarfot's progress lately and if he keeps up with slayer, he could eventually become the player with the most skills over 100M xp. He has currently 6 skills over 100M and could get all 3 melees, HP, Ranged and slayer, as well as Effigy skills such as WC, FM and even RC. Obviously, we are talking long term here, but he could get as much as 15 skills once he gets his slayer to 100M xp, something I wouldn't be surprised to see.

I'd say it depends if he goes for 200M dungeon or stop at 104M... if he goes for 200M dungeon, then it would take him another 5-6 months at this pace with collateral RC xp gains. He will probably get it sooner if someone gets too close for confort though. @ Drumgun, I'd figured as much, it was indeed a nice number to let it sit on for all those months.

@ Drumgun - Congrats mate! Was there ever a reason you didn't train farming for that long? Btw, what skill are you putting your XP lamps these days? @ Boeg - I'm aware of Tezz, but since he's outisde my tracking (top 15 and he's about rank 20 at the moment) I don't check what he's training on a weekly basis. I had noticed though that he was powertraining cooking lately. I have no doubt he'as gonna gain some XP ranks in the near future. In fact, outside of the top 12, only S U O M I seems to be unreachable focusing only on short term. Like I said to Deyan a couple days ago, I let other posters shed light to players outside the top 15. Thank you for your contribution!

I like seeing numbers grow... levels, XP, money, items...Whatever action I do in RS has an effect on a number growing. This is where I get my fun.

Indeed, I'll bump up my post that got ignored in the dungeon glitch flood. Watch out for S U O M I, he's picked up a very fast pace in the last few days and could max out mining as soon as early next week. Being a slayer fan myself, it's also nice to see some top players training that skill aswell ( Balmung Pro, Zarfot, Jdelacroix, Drumgun, Lan and Kingduffy) with Balmung Pro closing in on 100M xp slayer. The collateral XP gains in effigy skills are also fun to watch, this will give slayers a headstart on difficult or slower skills (RC, Agility, fishing)

Yeah I just noticed kemadorr has been inactive since september started. I don't expect Timlahaye to come back either.

Lol even though he maxed out alot of easy skills already, Kemadorr isn't doing bad at all. I do believe he declared that he's either going for rank 1 overall or that he feels that he's the best (#1) player on Runescape (or both). So there's atleast ambition there, and he doesn't appear to be afraid to train slower skills based on his fish and rc exp, just starting with the easiest ones. He tops Evil XP God with about 10m exp (1,43B), hence he gets a mention from me. :D Oh and to finish it - Coming milestone: 200m hunting. He appears to be in the race for a hunt first page spot, which he will have to work hard for if the above 3 all keep it up. Nice find Drumgun and nice summary. It's getting crowded in the 1,4B-1,5B xp range. I just reviewed my post and I have to correct myself when I said Zarfot was not gaining any ground on Balmung Pro anymore... He's gaining about 10M xp per month on Balmung Pro and at this rate, could claim rank 1 in the next 6-7 months.

thank you Callous for this unwanted post... @ deyan I know there are a lot of players with under 1,4B xp that have the potential to max out first, but at the moment, it's easier for me to update only the players with most XP and I let other people like you shed light to the more obscure players like Serpentine and Tezz, even though it's obvious Tezz is not in the obscure category.

Well it was predtty much assumed that he quit. I hadn't seen any proof of it though. Is this video from march or around that time?

Update of the top 15 (this hopefully gets the topic back "on-topic") 1. Balmung Pro (previously Skiller and Aasiwat) : 2,27B xp. Congrats to our fellow Tip.iter Aasiwat on 200M construction (6th skill) last week. Balmung Pro has trained multiple skills last week, dungeon, farming, prayer as well as the mining/smithing/magic trio. Coming milestones: 100M slayer 2. Zarfot : 2,20B xp. Zarfot went back to slayer last week with major effigies gains especially in RC. He's not gaining on Balmung Pro anymore, but he's not losing ground either. Coming milestones : nothing in sight. 3. Jdelacroix : 2,13Bxp. Still keeping up with dungeon, slayer and farming last week, he's climbed a lot or overall ranks. Any plans for rank 1 overall? From the top 3, he's in the best position. Coming milestones : 100M xp ranged and 100M farming. 4. Drumgun : 2,07B xp. Still controversial, still 69 farming? Hell no! Drumgun is closing on 99 farming, a skill that he kept at 69 from a very long time. He's also training dungeon, ranged and WC lately. Coming milestones : 100M fletching. 5. Gertjaars : 2,02B xp. Still inactive... 6. Lan : 1,86B xp. A somewhat slower week for Lan, he's trained multiple skills while focusing on dungeon and slayer. He's widen the gap between him and Erw J to 10M xp. Coming milestones: 100M def 7. Erw J : 1,85 xp. Very slow week for Erw J, mainly trained WC. My prediction of him going for rank 1 overall were way off! . Coming milestones : nothing in sight! 8. Elvis : 1,74B xp. Still one of the fastest trianing player out there, he's been training dungeon and prayer last week. In good position to grab rank 1 overall with 45M dungeon XP and 60M xp lead on Telmomarques. Coming milestones : , 100M WC and 100M attack . 9. Kingduffy : 1,72B xp. Mainly training slayer and herblore, he's gained a nice amount of dungeon XP last week too. Coming milestones : nothing in sight 10. Elias : 1,69B xp. Came back strong after a slow week, he's been training mainly dungeon and WC but has gained lots of XP in other skills as well. Coming milestones : 1,7B XP. 11. telmomarques : 1,68B xp. Very constructive week for Telmomarques training...construction..pun sadly intended. Coming milestones : 1,7B xp. 12. Paperbag : 1,64B xp. Still not much done last week except some major farming, probably goes hand in hand with him gathering materials for herblore later. Coming milestones : 100M farming. 13. S U O M I : 1,56B xp. Still training mining/smithing/magic which he is now 3 weeks away to max out. He has passed Green098 last week for rank 13. Coming milestones : 200M mining (5th skill) 14. Green098 : 1,55B xp. Still training dungeon and closing in on 100M XP and obviously 120 dungeon and max total. She'll lock himself on the front page for a long while once she reach those milestones (same text as last week, I'm getting lazy with "predictable" players). Coming milestones : 100M dungeon. 15. ox : 1,51B xp. Trained some WC last week, but still a slow week. Coming milestones : Nothing in sight. Other notable players : Fredmcgarry 1,48B xp, Season 1,47B xp, Evil XP god 1,42B xp,

Well it took 55 pages before the "nolife" argument really took off. Hoping we get the next 55 pages free of these. I'll make an update later tonight, btw, Zarfot became the 2nd player to reach 2,2 xp earlier today.

I will be efficient when I feel like it and unefficient when the best methods are painful to do. I find playing RS with 100% concentration to be unefficient to my life. I'd rather watch a movie on the side or chat with friends and lose a couple % in XP rates than grind away to the next lvl. Basically, I don't care if you are being efficient or not and I don't care if I'm being efficient or not at any given moment. I've played this game for 6 years and at this point I know what I like to do and what I would not do.

Yep ever since passing Gertjaars sometime in early spring I think. He has a 70M xp lead on Zarfot at rank 2.

It explodes and you have to start all over again. I wouldn'T mind. I'm doing the weekly statue because it "forces" me to train skill I don't like and it gives me a small xp reward that adds up over time. The 150K agility, hunter and RC XP gained so far is very valuable to a person like me, as well as the XP gained from actively training those skills. Without this, I wouldn't have these skills over 80, probably around 75.

I'm getting my 27th rock next thursday night, friday early morning BST. Looking forward to september 22nd to find out what exactly happens when your home statue is done though.

Even though looking at Zezima's total XP now in comparison to other top players (he's probably ranked outside the top 50 at this moment), someone not familiar with the 2004-2008 highscore would probably dismiss his achievements. The main thing is that Zezima was either rank 1 overall or rank 1 in XP on any given day (or close to it anyway) for nearly 5 years. It took a whole year after he "quit" to get him off his throne... Zezima was the top dog at a time where you had to trade from person to person to get materials and when training rates were a lot lower than these days. He held rank 1 overall while Lilyuffie had more XP and once he passed her, only N0valyfe ever came close enough to him (making a deal to pass him before quitting) and when he called it "quit" himself, he had 20% more XP than any other player. Having your name on the top of the highscore front page for 4-5 years certainly helps make you a legend. The big difference with today's top players is competition. Aasiwat has Zarfot, Jdelacroix and Drumgun to compete with, players that gained on average 600-750M xp since the year began. Gertjaars had the biggest lead any player has ever enjoyed sometime last year (around 300M XP) and it was not enough to maintain his rank for a long time. At the current pace of Zarfot, Aasiwat (Balmung pro) would lose his rank #1 inside a month if he stopped playing, not something Zezima ever experienced aside from when Novalyfe was around. I guess this is the main reason why following these guys' progress is so interesting, nothing is set in stone like it used to be. Everyone is cheering for his favorite player for whatever reason they have. Being a huge slayer and farming fan, I root for Lan and Aasiwat and to a lesser extent, Kingduffy and Zarfot, but I'm happy to see Drumgun gaining levels in farming at last! My views on maxing out and the use of effigies are skewed by my love for slayer and the fact I'm not in any position to ever see my character get a front page ranking lock forever. To all top players lurking or posting here: good luck with your goals and don't be bothered too much by our over-analysis of the situation, it's a game after all!
